Keeping Up with the Kardashians returns this Sunday. And it does so at a pretty strange time for the series. In case your Internet has been broken, your TV destroyed and your phone lost, Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris this month. She was forced to beg and scream for her life in a truly harrowing situation. As a result, there’s been talk that the show won’t actually go on. Kim is yet to make a public appearance or a public comment regarding this frightening incident, while multiple sources have wondered whether Keeping Up with the Kardashians will be canceled in light of the crime and Kim’s understandable response. We highly doubt that will happen. But either way, it’s a bit off for the show to come back on October 23 with new episodes, none of which will mention the scary elephant in the room. Because the reality show films several weeks ahead of its air dates, Kardashian’s robbery hadn’t even taken place in the timeline of the program when viewers watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians online or on TV next week. Like we said: it’s pretty strange. But that doesn’t mean we aren’t curious about what will transpire on air, with the first clip from Sunday’s return episode featuring Khloe and Scott Disick. Always close friends, Disick is opening up in the following scene about how much time he has until he sees Kourtney Kardashian and the kids again. “You know this is gonna be like the longest I’m away from Kourt and the kids…ever,” Scott tells Khloe, referring to a month-long excursion Kourtney has taken Mason, Penelope and Reign on. “How do you feel?” Khloe asks. Disick then shows some surprising vulnerability, admitting that he’s “kinda anxious” and saying he wants to “book” his time and possibly do some appearances so he doesn’t “think about missing the kids and Kourtney.” (We’re guessing the money he rakes in off those appearances don’t hurt, either.) “But are you gonna be on your best behavior?” Khloe inquires. “Worst,” Disick responds, in jest (we assume). CHECK OUT THE CLIP BELOW: Keeping Up with the Kardashians Clip: Concern for Scott “Just make sure you’re doing whatever you think is best,” Khloe ends up responding, which is a scary prospect. We don’t exactly trust the judgment of Scott Disick. Kardashian later confesses that she’s “worried” about Disicik, but we can calm her fears. We can talk to her from the future. Again, because this scene was actually taped a long time ago, we can assure Khloe that Scott ends up being just fine. There’s no cause for concern. Jaden Smith, perhaps the most bizarre celeb offspring in the entire history of bizarre celeb offspring, went and did his strangest interview yet. In a sit-down with France’s Numéro magazine, he discussed what it was like that one time he was a total vampire. Like, total . In the interview, Jaden said , “During a period of my life, I was Gothic.” That in itself seems to be a regular phase of … well, somebody’s childhood, but you need to keep in mind that weird old Jaden Smith was likely the offspring of a Thetan god and was born on a spaceship, and isn’t a regular kid at all. “I was only wearing black and I was hiding from the sun because I was a vampire .” Yeah, you heard that right – he was a real-life vampire, y’all. “I was a vampire, for real,” he claimed. “I could not expose myself to the sun, and I was only wearing black trench coats.” Li’l Jaden was apparently misled at some point in his life, because we all know that vampires don’t wear black trench coats; real vampires sparkle in the sun and only don designer threads. Fail. He’s not a vampire, anymore, though – Jaden’s just a normal kid these days, and no mention was made about drinking blood, which, in itself, would lend credence to the idea that you might be a night-stalker with an insatiable thirst for mammal serum. “I open myself up to wear brighter things,” he said, and claimed that he’s no longer a vampire. “[I] go out in daylight. I share much more mixed energy.” Just how normal is Jaden Smith now? OMG, like, so normal. “There are odysseys in which I am engaged now, those I can put in place if I want, [as well as those] I could undertake in the future,” he revealed. “Some immerse themselves in painting, studying intensely, or demonstrate extreme concentration,” he said. “The adaptability of the human seems endless, until the day they die.” Boy, he was a vampire and he has a loose grasp on the human condition. Thank you, Betsy McCaughey. We really needed a laugh today. The former New York Lt. Governor, McCaughey was a guest on CNN last night, sitting across from Don Lemon and trying to defend Donald Trump’s use of certain explicit language. You know what we’re talking about, right? We’re talking about the video that surfaced last Friday in which Trump tells Billy Bush that he can just “grab” a woman by her “pussy” because he’s a “star” and can do “anything.” Trump also says in this 2005 footage that he can’t help himself… sometimes he sees a female and just starts kissing before, unable to even wait for permission. The tape, released by The Washington Post, has resulted in Trump plummeting in the polls, while also losing support of Republicans around the country. But McCaughey remains by Trump’s side! Betsy McCaughey Reads Beyonce Lyrics, Slams Hillary Clinton In the footage above, McCaughey explains: “I abhor lewd and bawdy language. I don’t listen to rap music. I don’t like that kind of thing, but Hillary Clinton, when she expresses …” At this point, McCaughey looks down at her notes and Lemon asks her why she’s referencing rap music. “I mentioned rap music because it’s full of the f-word, the p-word, the b-word, the a-word,” she said, to which Lemon reasonably replied: “I don’t think anybody likes that but those people are not running for president.” Fair enough. But whatever , McCaughey basically said. She had a ridiculous point to make! “Hillary Clinton expresses that she finds the language on that bus, ‘horrific,’ but in fact, she likes language like this,” McCaughey said. Whatever does she mean? She means that Clinton is on record as saying she loves Beyonce and Beyonce has sung such lyrics as: I came to slay, bitch. When he f-ed me good I take his ass to Red Lobster. Yes, McCaughey actually reads these words out loud on air. TWICE! “That happens to be from Beyoncé, her favorite performer,” she explains. “Whom she says she idolizes and would like to imitate. There’s a lot of hypocrisy in Hillary Clinton expressing such horror at language on the bus. Yeah, no. There’s really not. Please tell us we don’t need to explain why it isn’t hypocritical to like an artist who sometimes uses salty language… … while still condemning a candidate for President who says he kisses and touches women against their will. Presidential Debate, Take 2: The Insults Fly! “As much as I like hearing you say that, Hillary Clinton did not say those words,” Lemon responds, after he stops laughing. “Donald Trump actually said the words, and as my mom would say, that’s the horse of another color.” Yes, thank you. Moreover, Beyonce is singing about someone making love to her in a pleasureful manner and then purchasing that person dinner at Red Lobster. Trump is talking about trying to sleep with a married women (who he later tried to fire for turning him down ) and touching the genitalia of the opposite sex because a celebrity can do whatever he wants. Nancy O’Dell finds herself at the center of a political scandal. The television personality turned down Donald Trump’s sexual advances over a decade… … only for that decision to become public knowledge after a video went viral this week in which Trump bragged about trying to bed O’Dell. The footage, which was filmed in 2005, features Trump and Billy Bush on an Access Hollywood bus, driving to the set of Days of Our Lives and talking in very lewd fashion. They are wearing microphones, but are unaware the microphones are on; or “hot,” to use industry lingo. It’s unclear who released the video to The Washington Post or how long that individual had been sitting on it, but it’s very clear what Trump and Bush are discussing. At one point in the back-and-forth, Trump says of a woman named Nancy: “I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn’t get there. And she was married. I did try and f-ck her. She was married.” It didn’t take long for the married woman who rejected Trump to be identified as Nancy O’Dell (who Trump reportedly tried to fire as Miss USA Pageant host in 2007. Hmmm… we wonder why.) We can’t imagine O’Dell ever thought this incident would resurface all these years later, but here we are. And here’s what she has to say about it: “Politics aside, I’m saddened that these comments still exist in our society at all. When I heard the comments yesterday, it was disappointing to hear such objectification of women. “The conversation needs to change because no female, no person, should be the subject of such crass comments, whether or not cameras are rolling.” O’Dell is 50 years old and is now the co-anchor of Entertainment Tonight. Donald Trump: Caught Making VERY Lewd Comments She continued: “Everyone deserves respect no matter the setting or gender. “As a woman who has worked very hard to establish her career, and as a mom, I feel I must speak out with the hope that as a society we will always strive to be better.” Both Bush and Trump have since apologized for their conversation, which also depicted the two men degrading Days of Our Lives actress Arianne Zucker. The footage also included Trump saying that he often just “grabs” the “pussy” of a woman and it’s totally acceptable because he’s a “star.” “When you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything,” he tells Bush. “Obviously I’m embarrassed and ashamed,” Bush said. “It’s no excuse, but this happened eleven years ago – I was younger, less mature, and acted foolishly in playing along. I’m very sorry.” Trump, meanwhile, initially dismissed the talk as being mere “locker room” banter, only to then issue a longer apology in video form . I’ve said and done things I regret and the words released today on the more than decade-old video are one of them. “Anyone who knows me knows these words don’t reflect who I am. I said it, I was wrong and I apologize.” In the wake of this scandal, numerous Republicans have pulled their support for Trump. Many have also called for Trump to drop out of the Presidential race entirely. But he’s made it clear that this won’t be happening.
