Earlier this week, we reported on the surprising news that Katy Perry and Taylor Swift have officially ended their feud . While the pop landscape might be a more peaceful place as a result, it was undeniably a sad day for fans of petty celebrity rivalries. Fortunately, the equally-entertaining Taylor Swift-Kim Kardashian feud appears to be going strong! Taylor just dropped a new single entitled “You Need to Calm Down,” and while the song is ostensibly a straightforward pro-LGBTQ anthem, many fans ate convinced that several lines have double meanings and are intended as subtle jabs against Kim. Kim’s prison reform efforts brought her back to the White House today, and the 38-year-old apparently feels that Swift’s new song cast a shadow over what should have been one of the proudest moments of her career. “Apparently, Taylor will never be done shading Kim, but Kim is letting her appearance at the White House yesterday speak for itself,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online. “It just so happened that the day Taylor announced her album, Kim spoke at the White House in front of the whole world, completely blowing her out of the water.” The insider says Taylor’s sly disses were not lost on Kim, who selected her attire for today in order to send a message to Swift: “And it is no coincidence at all that Kim wore green, the color of the snake,” the source claims. Using a White House event on prison reform as an opportunity to throw subtle shade at a pop star sounds insane — but then again, so does everything else about 2019. So Radar’s interpretation is that Taylor’s new single just happened to drop on the same day that Kim spoke at the White House. But the folks over at Cosmo make a pretty convincing argument that Swift planned it that way and loaded her lyrics with coded jabs at Trump. As many have observed on Twitter, it might not be a coincidence that the song was released on the Donald’s birthday. And the progressive lyrics present exactly the sort of argument that tends to deepen the president’s perma-scowl: “You are somebody that we don’t know / But you’re coming at my friends like a missile / Why are you mad? / When you could be GLAAD?” Swift sings at one point. “Sunshine on the street at the parade / But you would rather be in the dark ages,” she later croons. “’Cause shade never made anybody less gay.” Obviously, much of this situation is open to interpretation, but the Radar source assures us that things are about to escalate rapidly: “Kim will continue to drop more subtle hints on social media as more of Taylor’s album becomes revealed,” the insider claims. “She is really sick of it, but at the end of the day they both kind of live for it.” Fortunately, so do we! During our conversation, Karrueche opened up about people underestimating the show and her. “It was great for people to see me on a new level where I was taken seriously. Before I’ve done independent films and low budget. Which is still great and part of my journey as an actor, but for this from season one to now has been very empowering.” Jenn Lyon who also stars on Claws chimed in to remind us that until now she has always been attached to someone else as someone else’s girlfriend or a social media influencer. “Now she stands on her own,” Jenn said After that, Karrueche opened up about a pivotal turning point in her life and what it took for her to make a name for herself in order to make it on her own. Karrueche says, “It was tough because I hit a moment in my life where literally, I was like WTF am I going to do? What am I going to do? I thought I used to work at a boutique in LA on Robertson, I was a personal assistant, I worked at Nordstrom for 3 or 4 years before that… Am I going to have to go back to retail?” Then she remembered she had a large following on social media and contemplated ways to capitalize off of the notoriety. “I have this platform of a million or so followers at the time, that kind of means something but what can I do? But also what can I also do that last, that has longevity? That means something? That has substance not just fit tea.” Adding “that’s not to shade to people who make their money off that just not me. That’s just not what I want to promote.” Karrueche goes on to explain how she got offered spots on multiple reality shows but turned them down because that’s not what she wanted to do with her life. She decided to take up acting and she admits it wasn’t an easy journey. “It was hard, even when I started my acting career, Jesus Christ it took some time. I went on so many auditions, at one point my agency was like so you haven’t booked anything are you sure this is what you want to do? I was like fuck! This sucks, but it was a real question I had to ask myself and I had this tiny little voice in the back of my head that said don’t give up, don’t give up… So I told my manager that I’m going to stick through this. I’m going to do it. I’m going to continue to just work hard and eventually I made my way but it’s a tough journey.” After hearing she was good but just too green she finally landed Claws after doing some low budget indie films that helped lay the foundation for the success that she’s having now. Against all odds, Scott Disick and Sofia Richie are still together . We’re not sure why that fact continues to surprise us, as it seems that everyone in the couple’s inner circle has come to terms with the massive age gap, as well as all of the other weirdness involved. (Although we’re sure Lionel Richie isn’t exactly dancing on the ceiling about it.) As Sofia and Sofia approach their two-year anniversary, many are beginning to wonder what’s next for the couple. Despite the fact that he never married the mother of his three children, it’s been rumored that Scott will propose soon. However, one insider recently shot those claims down: “Scott and Sofia have no plans to get married or engaged anytime soon,” a source tells Hollywood Life . “They’re both perfectly happy with where they are at in their relationship and are in no rush for anything.” Of course, that’s the short of boilerplate response that often precedes an engagement announcement. So perhaps it should come as no surprise that all the Scott and Sofia wedding talk has given way to an even wilder rumor. Sources close to the couple claim that Sofia has been spending a lot of time with Scott’s three children. And as a result, she’s come down with a major case of baby fever. The first part has been confirmed, as we know from her social media activity that Sofia spends a lot of time not only with Disick’s kids, but with their mom, as well. Photos of Kourtney Kardashian on vacation with Scott and Sofia shocked fans at first, but they’ve since become commonplace. As for that second part — the bit about Sofia chomping at the bit to start a family of her own — well, sources close to the 20-year-old say that’s not entirely true. “Things are great for them now,” says the insider. “Sofia isn’t even thinking about kids as she knows she’s really young. She loves Scott’s kids, but she jokes that she’s happy when she gets to hand them back [to Kourtney] and have her alone time with Scott.” The source adds that Scott’s not all that crazy about full-time parenting, either: “It’s honestly a nice balance for Scott, too. Scott and Sofia do love their alone time very much, and they love to just pick up food and hang in their backyard with friends alone,” says the insider. “Sofia knows she is not anywhere near ready for kids of her own or to be a mom, but she loves playing auntie to her friends’ kids without a doubt. “That’s enough for her right now.” Oh, good. It’s about time something worked out in Scott’s favor. Jersey Shore: Family Vacation is getting set to expand its family. In our very first look at the third season of this MTV revival, the cable network tells fans to speak now… … or forever pump your fist. This is a reference to Mike Sorrentino's wedding, which took place in late October and which will be a focal point of at least the new season premiere. “Oh yeah, weddings yeah!” Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio enthusiastically and hilariously declares in this trailer. Meanwhile, a tuxedo-clad The Situation poses with his dapper groomsmen in the promo — while Snooki and Jenni Farley throw petals down the aisle and gush over the bride. There's no footage here of Lauren Pesce herself, but there's a whole lot of excitement flowing around and around between the veteran colleagues and close friends. At one point, Mike rides a horse. At another, Snooki screams loudly on a boat. “I believe it’s too late to turn back now,” Mike says about getting hitched, which he did just a few weeks before going to jail for tax evasion. Jersey Shore: Family Vacation is a spinoff of the original Jersey Shore, a series that ran from 2009 through 2012. It catches up with he original Seaside Heights cast a decade after we first met them as a bunch of wild and crazy party-goers and drama-creators. They still stir up plenty of the latter, but most of the stars are now married and/or have their own children, with Snooki having just given birth to a boy . Who ever would have thought just a few years back, right? As for the upcoming third season? Delvecchio, Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Snooki, Sorrentino, Angelina Pivarnick and Deena Nicole Cortese will all return for another go-around. It sounds as if we'll also see a lot of Ronnie's violent occasional girlfriend, Jen Harley, despite her recent arrest . Season 3 will also give us a glimpse at how the roommates deal with Sorrentino's jail sentencing and his subsequent time served behind bars. Reads the official press release: The roommates may be back, but a lot has changed, as the squad rallies around Mike, who’s facing prison time and planning a wedding. At the same time, Deena’s about to give birth, Jenni’s contemplating divorce, Ronnie’s fed up with all the jokes at his expense, and Pauly can’t resist just one wedding prank. Through the challenges and fears, pranks and surprise wedding guests, it’s the humor that keeps this group together and proves that facing life’s twists and turns is easier with friends. In a previous clips released from this Sunday's brand new episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, we watched as Kourtney got into an actual fight with Kendall Jenner . The latest sneak peek centers on Kris Jenner speaking to Kourtney and Kylie speaking to Khloe Kardashian. They're all talking about Kylie's new office space, with Kris complaining that her 21-year old daughter is being all “territorial” about it and Kylie complaining that Kris isn't respecting her business. Case in point? Kris parked in the space reserved for the company's CEO. “In front of everybody at the office she’s like, ‘Don’t ever park in my parking space again. It’s the one thing that means something to me. I’ve worked so hard,’” Kris recounts there o Kourtney over the phone. “I’m like, oh my goodness. I was on an important call and she locked me out of the office because she needed to do her work.” Well, yeah. Kylie does do work for her own company. Isn't that what the entire family has been trying to tell us for years? Kris herself semi-recently defended her daughter as a self-made billionaire . But Kourtney uses that title – which was awarded to Kylie by Forbes Magazine in March – against her in this scene. “She has this like, entitlement. No one says anything because she’s Kylie Billionaire Jenner,” Kourtney says of her sister, mocking Jenner for… we're not even sure what. For thinking she's important, we guess? Because she runs a beauty empire? “Definitely don’t let her boss you around,” Kourtney tells her mon in this video. “You’re Kris [mother-f-cking] Jenner. You are her mother.” “Yeah, I’m important,” Kris replies. “I’ve helped build this business with Kylie and I’m older. I’m the mom. I deserve a little bit of respect.” Khloe, however, is listening to Kylie's side of the story. Wednesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York finally showed us that blowout fight from the midseason trailer, and it did not disappoint. If you watch The Real Housewives of New York online of late, you know that Luann has bordered on insufferable. Every single time any of the ladies have tried to help her, she’s complained that she’s too busy to give a you-know-what because she’s a cabaret girl. When the explosive episode kicked off Bethenny and Ramona were trying to get through to Ramona that her drinking is a cause for concern. This conversation occured shortly after Sonja threatened to knock Bethenny out before smacking her head off a table. It was pretty wild. Sonja, however, welcomed the feedback from the ladies, and ultimately decided to take Luann up on the offer to attend an AA meeting with her. Before we got to the AA meeting, new addition to the cast, Barbara Kavovit admitted that she felt left out. Bethenny wanted to find out why Barbara felt that way, so she pulled her aside. “If you guys would rather me go home, I’ll go home,” Barbara said while simultaneously fighting back the tears. Bethenny told her that she felt she was too up Lu’s ass to forge friendships with the other ladies. Well, she didn’t quite say it that way, but you get the gist. Ultimately, Barbara agreed that she could be a better friend away from Luann and that was that. Sonja struggled at the AA meeting, but she put on a brave face. It all came to the forefront when Sonja broke down at the beach when she met up with the ladies. Sonja later admitted that it was too much for her to take on board, and the ladies tried to help her. Everyone except Luann, that is. Luann said that she was staying at the beach, leaving the other ladies to help Sonja. “Anybody want to go for a swim on the beach?” she said while Sonja bawled her eyes. “I’m gonna go for a swim. I’ll see you back at the house.” Bethenny was shook, and not in a good way. It was like she was ready to unleash holy hell on the countess, but she bit her tongue. At the house, Sonja admitted that Luann essentially abandoned her, despite being the one to bring her to the AA meeting. While this was going down, Luann posed for photos, one of them was at a poster promoting her cabaret show. Did this prove how self-absorbed Luann was at this moment in time? Probably, but we need to remember here that Luann has her own $hit going on. The next night is when the good stuff happened. Barbara told Luann during dinner that she felt like she had been iced out for no reason, and she was not going to stand for it. Luann gave her a hug, but Bethenny saw this as Lu’s way of brushing this under the rug. “I felt so protective of you, Lu, because I’m protective of the people that I love,” Barbara said of the situation, prompting Luann to say it was “not my fault.” “It kind of is, though,” Tinsley said even though nobody asked her remind them she was still on the show. “Because you let Barbara do that for you, have the shield, protect you in that way — and you never [stick up] for her.” “I never what?” Luann asked before making fun of Tinsley Tinsley for slurring the words “stick up.” Queen Bethenny had heard enough. She flipped the eff out. “You’re insufferable! You’re insufferable!” she scremed as she slammed her hands on the table. “Oh, wow. What a day this has been,” Lu fired back. “This is it! Are you gonna sing it? Sing it!” Bethenny hurled. . “Jesus, I go for a swim, and this is what happens? Gotta be careful when you leave the room in this group, huh?” Lu said, trying to keep her composure. “When’s the last time you asked me how I am about Dennis?” Bethenny asked. “When’s the last time?” “When’s the last time you asked me how I am?” Luann said in response. “All the time!” Bethenny screamed. “You are intolerable. You never change. ‘Cause you never change ’cause you dined out on your sobriety.” “You’re dining out on it. Yes, you are. Dining out. Yes, you are.” Luann then said she was annoyed that Bethenny would say she’s using her sobriety as a crutch. “B Strong? You should be so proud of yourself. You’re bully strong,” she said. “Let me explain something to you clearly,” Bethenny yelled, slamming her hands on the table one more time. “Dennis helped you with your case 100 percent. When’s the last time you asked me how I feel about it? You actually are [the only one who hasn’t checked in on me]. Unnerving. It’s unnerving!” Luann claimed the evening was “not enjoyable,” as Bethenny shot back that “the truth hurts.” “I’m so mad!” Bethenny said as she looked like she was going to flip the table. “I did your intervention, and my f–king boyfriend, ex-boyfriend, ex-fiancé died of an overdose, and you haven’t checked in on me!” “Do you understand?! I did your intervention while my guy died of a drug overdose. And you haven’t asked how I am! He died! He’s in the ground!” Bethenny was up at Lu’s face, saying that her friend never checked in on her. “No, you haven’t! No, you haven’t! Not one time!” Bethenny shouted before mimicking her new nemesis. “‘I’m going through a lot. Come to my thing.’ Cabaret! F–king Cuban cabaret upstate. And cabaret, cabaret, cabaret all day. LIFE IS NOT A CABARET. It is actually not a cabaret!” “Wow, look at you,” Luann managed to say. “Look in the f–king mirror! Look at me?!” Bethenny screamed across the table. “You never checked in on Dennis. Not once! You’ve never asked about Dennis. You never asked. YOU NEVER ASKED!” she continued. “No, you don’t. No, you don’t! Every day it’s about you. Every f–king day it’s about you. Every f–king second it’s about you. ‘Ohhh, because I didn’t get a massage.’ BECAUSE YOU’RE AN ASSHOLE THAT DIDN’T EVEN HAVE LUNCH WITH US TODAY, BUT YOU GO TO LOOK AT YOUR OWN POSTER!” “I went for a swim at the beach, for God’s sake,” Luann replied, implying everything with her was all good. “Do you understand it was a whole weekend?!” Bethenny continued in her tirade. “I took weeks of my life for you! … I had lawyers come to your house on a Sunday. I spoke to your kids. I sat outside on your driveway to make sure that you didn’t drive your car!” “You almost crashed the (inaudible) and killed your friends! You were running in a field in negligee and had to be taken in cop cars, and I made sure that they didn’t record it so you ultimately didn’t get arrested!” “You left the f–king rehab that I got you for free two weeks early FOR CABARET! YOU’RE A SICKO. FOR CABARET? YOU LEFT REHAB? I got it for free! You’re sick!!!” Oh yes, this drama will continue next week.
