Watch Meek Mill, J. Cole And Anthony Hamilton Perform At The NBA All-Star Game [VIDEO]

Source: Jeff Hahne / Getty The NBA marries its culture and game better than any other league in sports. On Sunday night, Charlotte became the number one city for hip-hop in the country as rappers flew in, partied and in the case of Meek Mill and J. Cole , performed in the marquee event of All-Star Weekend — the All-Star Game. Meek opened up for player intros, running through a medley of hits from 2018’s “Intro” to “Dreams And Nightmares,” “Going Bad,” “Uptown Vibes” and others. I’m pretty sure Team LeBron getting the “Dreams And Nightmares” intro for player introductions was a cheat code as they came back from 20-down to win the game. Meanwhile, Cole repped for classic Starter jackets and ’90s fashion before checking off a number of current hits and items from both KOD and 2014 Forest Hills Drive . He even teased his verse from “a lot,” telling 21 Savage , “We love you,” during the broadcast. Even Team LeBron had to get in on the action as they asked head coach Mike Malone if they could head out from the locker room to watch Cole perform “ATM” and “Middle Child.” But the biggest Carolina win, from an old school perspective came from Anthony Hamilton who delivered a little soul and passion to his rendition of the National Anthem. It’s not Marvin Gaye circa 1983 but it was far better than what Fergie gave us last year in Los Angeles. Continue reading here:

Source: NurPhoto / Getty Payless is closing up shop in the United States. The discount shoe store is set to close all 2,100 of its locations in the United States and Puerto Rico in the next few months. The liquidation sale began on Sunday and stores will be closing up shop in March, though most are set to stay open until May. Payless is also shutting down its online store. It could file for bankruptcy for a second time by the end of the month, according to reports. Founded back in 1956, Payless has more than 3,600 locations in 40 countries and over 18,000 employees, per its website. The international franchises and Latin American stores will not be affected by the closure. Payless first filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in April of 2017, closing 400 stores in the process. It reorganized soon after, cutting millions of dollars in debt but it wasn’t enough to fully save the company. Kim Kardashian Basically Got Naked on This Red Carpet

Kim Kardashian has posed naked in numerous magazine spreads and once let Ray J film himself just giving it to her in bed. So you'd think it would be impossible to be surprised by any outfit this reality star could ever wear. After all, we've seen her in nothing … so how could we be taken aback by any some thing that covers up her private parts, right? But that was before we saw the outfit Kim wore to something called The Hollywood Beauty Awards on Sunday night, February 17. We know it's a bold statement, but we feel confident enough to make it, so here we go: This was the most revealing out Kim has EVER donned. Scroll down to see if you agree — and also to see what critics on social media are saying about the look. 1. Just How Revealing was the Dress? We’ll start by teasing it as follows: This isn’t it! This is a different risque dress that Kardashian wore to a different event, LOL. And this new one makes it look very tame by comparison. 2. Wow, This Really is Revealing! We know, right? But this still isn’t the outfit we’re talking about! 3. Kim Previewed Her Outfit Before She Went Public Kardashian attended this event with hairdressed Chris Appleton, and she spent a couple Tweets preparing followers for what they were about to see. 4. She Was Feeling It, Folks 5. Enough Build-Up. Here It Is. Kardashian wore a vintage 1998 Thierry Mugler cut-out gown with a thigh-high slit to the Beauty Awards. It’s basically all the Internet has been talking about since. 6. Some People Loved the Look Well, this one person did at least. View Slideshow

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Recap: Who Got Engaged?

Porsha Williams and Dennis McKinley’s relationship may have started with a bunch of hurdles, but Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta showed that they were in it for the long haul.  Dennis had been dropping hints about a proposal to Williams for quite some time, so she kept getting her hopes up only to be let down.  Porsha and Dennis went out for dinner and drinks with Shamari and Ronnie DeVoe. That’s when Dennis opened up to Ronnie about his plans.  “Oh, you’re gonna propose on Friday?!” Ronnie whispered in excitement. “Damn, son! You got it all mapped out?” “I got it mapped out. She don’t know,” Dennis replied before confirming that his romantic plans involved a helicopter ride.  Thankfully, Lauren, Porsha’s sister was in the know from the get-go, so she was on hand to help out in any way she could.  That meant keeping up the ruse that Porsha was on her way to a charity event.  “For real, I’m legit scared,” Porsha said of getting on a helicopter. “I actually texted [Dennis] the other day, and I was like, ‘I don’t think I even wanna do the thing. Just cancel it. Let’s just do something else.’ And he sounded so disappointed that we weren’t gonna go. So I was like, ‘Okay, you know what? Fine. We’ll go.'” When the day arrived, Porsha and Dennis managed to get in and out of the helicopter without any issues.  That was a huge positive given how scared Porsha was. Williams was concerned because there were no other people around.  “They’re probably here already,” Dennis replied. “They can only fit one couple at a time.” Porsha totally bought it. “I’m glad I got my makeup done!” Porsha said as the duo walked into the high-class building.  In a truly romantic moment, Porsha realized her favorite song was playing. When the pair got to the room, there were flowers, photographers and even the singer of her favorite song. “Would you like to be Mrs. McKinley?” Dennis said as he got down on one knee. Porsha gleefully accepted.  “You don’t understand how many times we have sung this song in the car to each other,” Porsha said in a confessional. “I have my parts, he has his parts, and Lil’ Mo is here singing it to us! I’ve dreamed about how he was gonna propose. I thought he was gonna propose in Miami, I thought he was gonna propose here, I thought he was gonna propose there.” “But for him to do it like this with the helicopter and Lil’ Mo and all the flowers and — can we talk about the ring? He did that! Thank you, boo!” “Just thinking about how alone I was at first, and now,” Porsha said as she fought back tears. “No one will ever understand what it means for me to have gone through a miscarriage before, all by myself, without the person who made that child with me as my support, to now be pregnant and have the man who is the father of my child be so loving, so thoughtful. It means the world to me.” Elsewhere on this romantic installment: – Kand and Todd continued their quest to have another child. Todd was still on the fence of taking the surrogacy route, but started to question everything when they met Shandi, a potential person who could carry their child.  – Eva tried to find the perfect dress for her upcoming wedding, but she was shocked to learn the one she had her eye on could not be made in time.  – Nene and Gregg couldn’t stop arguing, and Nene started to wonder whether their relationship was, once again, about to come to an end.  What did you think of all the twists? Hit the comments below.  The Real Housewives of Atlanta continues Sundays on Bravo.  View Slideshow: The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 11: All the Secrets… EXPOSED!

Seriously?!? Home Depot Bomb Threat Turned Out To Be A Man “Fixing To Blow Up” The Bathroom

Source: Alan Schein Photography / Getty Home Depot Bomb Threat Was Just A Misunderstanding You really gotta watch what you say when you’re out in public, and this story proves just that…in the most ridiculous way possible. Police were called to a Home Depot  in Wichita, Kansas after it was believed that a man was making a bomb threat while shopping in the home improvement store. The 911 audio was recently released by Sedgwick County Communications, in which the caller tells the operator that someone may have made a bomb threat, according to reports from  KWCH . “We just had a customer here made what may have been a bomb threat,” the caller told the police. “He said, uh, somebody told me there’s a bomb in here and you need to leave the building. He said it three times.” Staff was alerted to the possible “bomb threat” after a person overheard the man talking in the store’s restroom. However, authorities learned later that the threat was actually just a euphemism used by a man who reeeeally had to use the bathroom. “You all need to get out of here because I’m fixin’ to blow it up,” is what the man allegedly said that tipped off fellow consumers.  A fellow witness to the bomb about to be dropped in the bathroom believed it to be a joke and laughed at the man, while police were able to track the man down and clear up the serious misunderstanding. Apparently, this isn’t the first time an incident like has occurred before. Back in November, one man in New Orleans was arrested after he allegedly threatened to blow up Willie’s Chicken Shack, but claimed that he actually said he was going “blow the bathroom up” in the same way the Home Depot customer meant. Arthur Posey, the man in question, faced two charges of communicating false information of planned arson.

Baltimore County Judge Overturns Korryn Gaines $38 Million Settlement

Original post:

The county giveth and the county taketh away. Judge Mickey J. Norman of Baltimore County has decided to overturn the decision of a jury that awarded more than $38 million to the family of Korryn Gaines. Gaines, a 23-year-old Randallstown woman who was shot and killed by county police in 2016. J. Wyndal Gordon, an attorney for Gaines’ family, told the Baltimore Sun they plan to appeal. “It’s devastating to a certain extent, but they’re a very faithful family,” he said. “It’s not over.” Judge Norman presided over the civil case in Baltimore County Circuit Court last year. His new decision comes almost exactly a year after jurors found that the first shot fired by Officer Royce Ruby at Gaines, killing her and injuring her then-5-year-old son, Kodi, was not reasonable and therefore violated their civil rights under state and federal statutes. This is a developing story.  Source: Baltimore Sun

3 Is A Trend…: A.J. Calloway Accused Of Sexual Assault By 6 Women

Source: Jemal Countess / Getty At what point is AJ Calloway going to be canceled, or even jailed? The former host of BET’s 106 & Park and current Extra host ( though currently suspended ) has been accused of sexual assault by six different women.  Calloway’s accusers have spoken out in a new story from The Hollywood Reporter . So far, six women have come forward to accuse him of sexual misconduct and assault. Last year, writer Sil Lai Abrams accused Calloway of groping him, and he was even arrested. However, the case was dismissed on procedural grounds (Calloway maintained his innocence). Reading Abrams’ account inspired Jeannie Delgado, who works in the aviation industry, to reveal that Calloway allegedly raped her in 2009. She claims that after Calloway offered her to stay overnight in a guest room in his home he raped her. “I thought it was not a big deal,” says Delgado, who works in the aviation industry. “I’m thinking this is the guest room. It turned out to be his bedroom. He closed the door behind him. He basically closed the door, locked it and tried to kiss me. I was like, ‘No, no, no.’ Then he went for my pants. He flipped me over, grabbed my hands, held them behind my back.” Holding both her hands in one of his, she says, he used his free hand to pull off her pants. “I’m 5-foot-2, 110 pounds,” she says. “He’s 6-foot-4, and I don’t know how much he weighs. He proceeded to rape me. When I tried to get up, he pulled me back down and bear-hugged me. That was for hours. I lay there crying the whole time. When the sun came up, he raped me again.” (Calloway, via an attorney, denies all allegations of misconduct.) Other accusers include two women, Nancy and Daisy, who didn’t want to use their real names and another woman who chose to remain unnamed. Perhaps the most heinous detail of their stories is that Calloway did not use condoms during the alleged sexual assault. Calloway has denied all the allegations via his lawyer. “These allegations are completely false,” said his attorney Lisa E. Davis. “Mr. Calloway has never sexually assaulted anyone and is devastated that he is being falsely accused of such terrible conduct. Throughout his career, Mr. Calloway has been a tireless advocate for community empowerment and equality and justice for all people regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation or gender expression.” Calloway was suspended from Extra after word got out that The Hollywood Reporter was preparing to publish their story. — Photo: Getty
