Many Teen Mom OG fans are expressing concern on social media today in response to news that Catelynn Lowell will be checking back into rehab to seek further treatment for trauma and other emotional issues. But perhaps they shouldn’t be worried. After all, Catelynn doesn’t seem to be. Don’t get us wrong–we’re sure she’s sad to once again be parting ways with her daughter and husband for an extended period of time. But she also appears to appreciate this development for what it is–a chance to find a treatment plan that will work for her long-term, and allow her to be the best wife, mother, and entrepreneur she can be. “Well they say third time’s a charm,” Lowell tweeted. “I’m going back to treatment people for 6 weeks to work on my trauma and getting on different meds.” Addressing her husband, Tyler Baltierra, Catelynn added: “THANK YOU @TylerBaltierra I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!! You are my light!! And nova you are my sunshine #KeepTalkingMH.” The hashtag is part of a social media movement to encourage productive conversation about the challenges and stigmas surrounding mental illness. Shortly after her message was posted, Catelynn re-tweeted her TMOG co-star Amber Portwood, who wrote: “Sometimes it takes a strong man to pick up a broken woman.” Lowell checked into rehab back on November 17 after revealing to her Twitter followers that she had been struggling with suicidal thoughts. “I’m taking the time I need right now to take good care of myself,” she told Radar Online at the time. “On November 17, I thought of every way possible to commit suicide, from wrapping a belt around my neck to just running my car into an electric pole.” Catelynn left the facility on December 29 after six weeks of treatment. She left rehab with an extensive plan to maintain her mental health, informing her social media followers that she had quit drinking and using drugs , and would be pursuing a proactive treatment program. “She’s going to be doing their regular therapy, couple’s therapy and outpatient,” said a source close to Lowell. Of course, as anyone who’s ever struggled with mental health knows, recovery is rarely a straight path. We wish Catelynn all the best and hope that she’s able to find the help she needs. O ur healthcare system is broken and now with the Trump administration dismantling Obamacare, people will be even more vulnerable to for-profit healthcare. This is the case for a woman in Baltimore who was thrown out of the University of Maryland Medical Center wearing a hospital gown and socks. Baltimore-based psychotherapist Imamu Baraka caught the horrifying moment on camera. The 22-year-old is crying on the street, clearly in pain and appears to have blood on her face. Watch the disturbing moment below: According to The Baltimore Sun , “Hospital officials have not said what the woman was treated for in the emergency room or why she was left out in the cold near a public transit bus stop.” It’s pretty clear why she was left out in the cold — she didn’t have the money or the insurance to pay for the insane amount the hospital would charge. Dr. Mohan Suntha , the hospital’s top executive, said in a statement, “We take full responsibility for this failure” and the hospital did not provide “basic humanity and compassion.” Absolutely disgusting. This is exactly why Americans need single-payer healthcare, not our current system, which profits off the sick. The young woman who was thrown out of the hospital was reportedly admitted back into the hospital because of Imamu Baraka. She is now with her mother. We hope she is better. With all the talk surrounding Meghan Markle and the family into which she’s about to become a member, a certain someone would like to remind folks about Meghan Markle’s actual family. And that certain someone is her half-sister, Samantha Grant. Grant has become somewhat of a celebrity herself ever since Markle entered the mainstream conversation early last year. She has been granting interviews and trying to get her name out there on a frequent basis for several months now. In the latest case of Grant attempting to capitalize off her sibling’s fame, Grant sat down and spoke to Fox News about various rumors surrounding the soon-to-be Mrs. Prince Harry. “Don’t believe anything you read in tabloids,” Grant says. “Those stories are written to create controversy and sell magazines.” In this initial case, the topic at hand was chatter that Markle would be walked down the aisle by her mother, NOT her father, because she isn’t especially close to her dad. (The former actress’ parents have been divorced for years.) “My father, when we see these tabloids, and it’s every day, we just roll our eyes,” Grant explains, adding: “There are so many rumors, like Meghan doesn’t get along with her dad or he’s reclusive. He’s not. “They talk regularly… Her relationship growing up with him was great. It’s still great now.” Thomas Markle lives a quiet life in Mexico and is on record as saying he would love to walk Markle down the aisle on her wedding day, which is scheduled for May 19. “My father is very close to Meg,” continued Grant, elaborating: “All of that perception created by the press is a horrible, despicable lie… It’s really unfortunate and it has caused the family a lot of pain… It’s atrocious. “And if I’ve had billions of dollars, there are about 50 publications I would go after and sue… But I’m in a wheelchair. I don’t have time or energy to be doing all of that.” Grant has been offered a TLC special and has claimed in the past that she plans to write a tell-all about Markle. Many quickly assumed this memoir (titled “The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister”) would be a hatchet job, but Grant now insists she’s been misunderstood. And so has the relationship between her and Markle, who did not grow up in the same house because they are 17 years apart in age. “My relationship with my sister for a while was really hurt because of the perceptions out there,” says Grant. “And I have to say, my book’s not what all of these people are saying it is… Just because it has the word ‘pushy’ doesn’t mean it’s a slamming tell-all… I was making fun of the tabloids… “My goal is really to show how lovely and amazing she is. I look forward to the both of us hopefully laughing over this.” What about the rumor that Grant and Markle have not spoken in a decade? “We spoke in 2014,” Samantha swears. “That doesn’t make us estranged by a decade… When you got someone in the family who is famous, just because they jet-set and have a busy, distracting life, it doesn’t mean anyone in the family is estranged… “Our families have always been very much in touch. And certainly growing up, we were very close.” Still… they haven’t talked in four years?!? Grant simply chalks this up to Markle being “busy” with her career, which took off thanks to her role on the USA Network hit Suits. In conclusion, Grant thinks she’ll be invited to Markle and Harry’s wedding . “I would be honored and to the best of my knowledge, I’m going [to the wedding],” she says. “That’s all I will say… I [still] see her as my little Meggie. Nas And Kelis Reach Custody Agreemnent If you’ll recall, Nas filed court docs against Kelis last month , claiming that she never adhered to any real visitation plan and only allowed him to see their son Knight when she deemed it convenient for her schedule. He presented his own proposed plan for how to split their son’s time to the judge, and it appears that he was successful. According to TMZ , new court docs reveal that the duo have agreed that Nas will have custody of Knight for four full weekends over January, February and March. The weekend visits will begin immediately after school on Fridays and run through Sunday night, or Monday night, if it’s a 3-day weekend. In addition, each parent is supposed to do their due diligence not to “popularize” their son on social media. Well, that seems nice and amicable. Hopefully, everyone will adhere to the new rules. Take for example, the latest expenditure by Mr. Brad Pitt, who began life by winning the genetic lottery, and then rode that wave all the way to unimaginable financial success. At 54, Brad’s been rich and famous for nearly three decades, which means those nightly Illuminati orgies are just a tedious chore to him at this point. This is a guy who’s done it all, which means he needs something truly wondrous to get his motor running. You can only drive so many luxury cars and observe so many alien autopsies before you begin to crave the purest and most universal pleasure known to man. We’re talking, of course, about enjoying the company of the Mother of Dragons herself, Emilia Clarke. Proving once again that he’s living the very best of lives, Pitt recently bid $120,000 for a chance to spend an evening watching Game of Thrones with Emilia. Obviously, Clarke is gorgeous , but it seems Pitt ponied up the dough simply out of sheer GoT fanboy geekiness. Clarke auctioned off her time as part of a benefit for Haiti organized by Sean Penn. Sadly, like the Red Wedding, this tale has a tragic ending. It seems Brad’s colossal bid was insufficient, and someone who we’re just gonna assume was George R.R. Martin in disguise dropped an astonishing $160,000 for an hour of Emilia’s time. That may seem ludicrous, but the way our cable bills have been looking lately, we’ll all be dropping six figures to watch HBO before the year is out, amirite?!
