#TimesUp Oprah’s Edges Eviscerating Golden Globes Speech Has Everyone SHOOK

Michael Kovac/Getty Images for Moet & Chandon Were you watching??? Oprah Winfrey’s 2018 Golden Globes Speech Let’s be clear. Whatever Oprah says GOES, and she had a LOT to say during Sunday’s Golden Globes. The media maven brought the house down while becoming the first black woman awarded the Cecil B. DeMille Award. Getty Images In her speech, Oprah imagined a world free of the #MeToo sexual misconduct movement and praised the press for “not turning a blind eye to tyrants.” “I want to thank the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. We know the press is under siege these days. We also know it’s the insatiable dedication to uncovering the absolute truth that keeps us from turning a blind eye to corruption and to injustice. To—to tyrants and victims, and secrets and lies. I want to say that I value the press more than ever before as we try to navigate these complicated times, which brings me to this: what I know for sure is that speaking your truth is the most powerful tool we all have. And I’m especially proud and inspired by all the women who have felt strong enough and empowered enough to speak up and share their personal stories. Each of us in this room are celebrated because of the stories that we tell, and this year we became the story.” Stefanie Keenan/Getty Images for FIJI Water […] “I’ve interviewed and portrayed people who’ve withstood some of the ugliest things life can throw at you, but the one quality all of them seem to share is an ability to maintain hope for a brighter morning, even during our darkest nights. So I want all the girls watching here, now, to know that a new day is on the horizon! And when that new day finally dawns, it will be because of a lot of magnificent women, many of whom are right here in this room tonight, and some pretty phenomenal men, fighting hard to make sure that they become the leaders who take us to the time when nobody ever has to say ‘Me too’ again.” Steve Granitz/WireImage Oprah’s soul-stirring speech has people urging her to pursue the Presidency in 2020. Lady Gaga: Happy New Year! Look at My Butt!

Lady Gaga is poised for a pretty big 2018. Back in November, we learned that Gaga is engaged to Christian Carino . Shortly thereafter, the singer announced that she’d signed on for a Vegas residency, an arrangement that’s already proven wildly lucrative for several members of pop music’s royal family, including Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez. But do true love and a wildly successful career really bring one happiness? Perhaps for some, but this is Gaga we’re talking about. She came to slay, and she won’t rest until her takeover is complete. She wants it all: The wealth, the fame, the adoration … and, of course, the ass: Gaga rang in the new year by tweeting the above photo. “Happy New Year. To happiness. Health. Love. And to the simplicity of beautiful unforgettable nature, life,” she captioned the image. Yes … nature. That caption is the social media equivalent of walking into a room naked save for a pair of heels and asking everyone if they like your new shoes. Needless to say, the pic was quite popular amongst Gaga’s devoted fans, amassing over 4,000 comments in just 24 hours. The Little Monsters paid tribute to their queen in multiple languages, and while we won’t pretend to have understood every comment, we’re pretty sure most of them translated to “dat ass.” The  Gaga butt  has been the stuff of legend for years, but like Halley’s Comet, it’s a big deal every time it makes an appearance. And with a wedding on the horizon, this might be our last glimpse of the iconic ass in its unmarried form. So soak it in, folks. And any time this year gets you down, simply make like Gaga’s fantastic ‘donk: Turn toward the sun; be your best self, and no matter what happens, don’t allow yourself to be put to be publicly dissed by Leonardo DiCaprio . He might have an Oscar now, but that does not give him the final say on all things butt-related. We’re pretty sure Kris Jenner holds that honor.

70 Black Youth Arrested In Georgia Shines Spotlight On Broken Criminal Justice System

T he Bartow County and Georgia NAACP branches launched a civil rights investigation on Wednesday into alleged police violations in the arrest of 70 people at a house party in Cartersville, Georgia. The teens and young adults now have arrest records on the charge of allegedly possessing less than 1 ounce of marijuana. SEE ALSO: DC Councilman Denounces Arrest Of Black Teens Selling Water “It is our hope the case will not drastically impact the lives of these young people and that justice will be done,” said attorney Gerald A. Griggs , chair of the Georgia NAACP Criminal Justice Committee. Police said they found less than an ounce of marijuana at a house party Saturday night & since no one claimed it, they arrested 70ppl for it. Some just got out today. Story at 5pm on Ch2 pic.twitter.com/OA2xQFdGX3 — Tyisha Fernandes (@TyishaWSB) January 2, 2018 The mass arrest began with Cartersville police officers responding to a 911 call about a possible gunshot around 2 a.m. on Sunday, WSBTV reported. Cops entered the home without a warrant after smelling marijuana in the front yard, a witness told the news outlet. When no one admitted to ownership of the small amount of the drug they discovered, the police arrested everyone. The police later found two stolen guns and other drugs after obtaining a warrant, the police department stated. The NAACP suspects that the police may have conducted an unlawful search of individuals and the property, which was rented for the party. All of those arrested could not have possessed the same small amount of marijuana, the organization stated. Considering the “changing cultural sentiment” about weed, a simple citation and release would have been more appropriate than arrests. “This is classic police harassment and intimidation,”  tweeted Kristen Clarke , president and executive director of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. Many of the partygoers complained about mistreatment from the police, including getting tied up with zip ties and threatened with tasers. Many of them also spent multiple days in jail. A GoFundMe campaign to help with bail and legal fees seeks to raise $15,000. They’ve been dubbed the “Cartersville 70,” which connects them to the long list of Black bodies unjustly arrested, such as the Central Park 5. The campaign noted that a majority of those arrest were college students, military members home for the holidays and hardworking people who could lose their job. Eugenie Bouchard Not Hot in a Swimsuit of the Day

Eugenie Bouchard is a pro tennis player – and I have a female tennis fetish – so to me – her not hot in a bikini or bathing suit – or whatever the fuck that is – is erotic – knowing that she can hit a ball with grace and strategy, in a skirt, while grunting…. But I have eyes, and with those eyes, I can see that Eugenie Bouchard is no Anna Kournikova, you know tennis clickbait sold off to Enrique Iglesias. I can see that Eugenie Bouchard is weirdly shaped and large, I mean you have to be to go against the Williams sister….and I know that she’s a local hero, since she’s a rich kid from Montreal, where she got her start…but most importantly, she’s got a slutty party twin sister who is the hotter of the two to bring her up, as she probably makes 50% of Eugenie Bouchard’s earnings in some weird twin, in it together deal…but then again, they were rich to start, so who fucking knows… I just know, this bathing suit’s not doing anyone any favors. Hailey Baldwin Pink Bikini of the Day

Hailey Baldwin’s got the pink hair on for her New Years celebration in Mimai…where she wore a bikini that I tried at least once to zoom in on to see whether I could see any discoloration of her anus…and I couldn’t…but I wanted to…thanks to her being the 21 year old aspiring model who may just finally make it..now that her friends have all made it…from Kylie the Face Stapled with meat products making babies, to Kendall who has withdrawn from her weird voyeur / exhibitionist app people follow her on, the Hadids, who are both way too famous for what they deserve to be…leaving this one…the last in line..hands out ready for her hand out…something we can assume she’s accustomed to being the daughter of a celebrity, but then you gotta think about Stephen Baldwin for a second and wonder if he was really that rich and famous enough to be a real provider to make this girl the brat that her friends are…or that even her cousin with way more famous parents are… I don’t know her upbringing, I can assume any 21 year old with 11 million followers on social media is a level of vapid, manipulative, overpaid, superficial, garbage cunt…but I also know that she’s not so bad in her bikini…in what I call “at least she’s not that sea monster Ireland”…. And really, as a 48 year old man, I shouldn’t be ripping into some egotistical, half naked, clickbait girl trying to make it as a useless addition to society, just what we need another girl posing in front of a camera, but I am… TO SEE THE REST OF THE PICS CLICK HERE Here’s Ireland Baldwin in her Underwear of the Day to balance out the family success with their failures… The post Hailey Baldwin Pink Bikini of the Day appeared first on DrunkenStepFather.com .

Clock Out Creeps: Time’s Up Legal Fund Established To Defend All Women From Overly Aggressive Overtures

(Gabriel Olsen/WireImage) Celebrity Women Show Solidarity Across All Industries With Announcement Of Time’s Up If you hadn’t already noticed, the ladies of Hollywood have officially gotten into formation , kicking off 2018 with January 21 announcements (along with ads in The New York Times and La Opinion) revealing that some 300 powerful Hollywood women have vowed solidarity with women across all industries who have suffered sexual harassment, abuse and pay inequality. More importantly, one of the main objectives of the initiative is to raise money ($15 million is the goal, with over $13 million already raised) to fund legal representation for the women who will need it most. Along with social media posts from some of the most famous actresses and directors in the business, the website for the initative published an open letter that acknowledged how the revelations about Harvey Weinstein and other alleged creeps helped bring attention to the problem, while admitting it was mainly when the actresses involved received a letter of solidarity from the Alianza Nacional de Campesinas (the National Farmworker Women’s Alliance) that they knew something bigger must be done. “It’s very hard for us to speak righteously about the rest of anything if we haven’t cleaned our own house,” Shonda Rhimes, the executive producer of the television series “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Scandal” and “How to Get Away With Murder,” who has been closely involved with the group, told the NY Times “If this group of women can’t fight for a model for other women who don’t have as much power and privilege, then who can?” Ms. Rhimes continued. Other Time’s Up members include the actresses Ashley Judd, Eva Longoria, America Ferrera, Natalie Portman, Rashida Jones, Emma Stone, Kerry Washington and Reese Witherspoon; the showrunner Jill Soloway; Donna Langley, chairwoman of Universal Pictures; the lawyers Nina L. Shaw and Tina Tchen, who served as Michelle Obama’s chief of staff; and Maria Eitel, an expert in corporate responsibility who is co-chairwoman of the Nike Foundation. “People were moved so viscerally,” said Ms. Eitel, who helps moderate Time’s Up meetings, which began in October. “They didn’t come together because they wanted to whine, or complain, or tell a story or bemoan. They came together because they intended to act. There was almost a ferociousness to it, especially in the first meetings.” Time’s up is run by volunteers, there is no formal leader. The initiative is also formed by several groups, including one which oversaw the creation of a commission, led by Anita Hill which is working towards making a blueprint for ending sexual harassment in entertainment. There’s another group called 50/50by2020 which is pushing entertainment organizations and companies to agree to reach gender parity in their leadership tiers within two years. Lena Waithe is working with yet another organization to ensure minorities and gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender people are heard. “No one wants to look back and say they stood at the sidelines,” said Lena Waithe, a star of the Netflix series “Master of None” and part of that working group. Time’s Up is also urging women to wear black at this Sunday’s Golden Globes, and to use the red carpet as an opportunity to speak out about gender and racial inequality and to raise awareness about the initiative. This is HUGE… We urge you to read the messages from Time’s up below and to read the open letter on their website BECAUSE this is truly an issue that affects ALL of us.
