Man Selling His Private Parts To Fund Europe Trip Fellas, how much is your long johnson worth? A Colombia man is slangin’ his D for dollars for a cool $20k. via Huffington Post A poet in Colombia wants to go to Europe so much that he’s willing to fund the trip in a very ballsy way: selling his t*st*cles. Rafael Medina Brochero, 52, is selling the matching set of semen-producing genitalia for the lump sum of $20,000 to fund a European tour in which he’ll participate in “Poetry for Peace in Colombia,” according to ColombiaReports.com. Brochero did not say whether the surgery would be covered in the $20,000, but he said the presumedly used testes might be able to be transplanted into a sterile person or used to make soup, Yahoo! Australia reported. Who knew a bowl of scrotum soup would run you $20,000. Wonder if it tastes like chicken…. Shutterstock

Amanda you need more than a nose job boo. Amanda Bynes Gets Nose Job According to US Magazine Amanda Bynes is seeking medical help — for more plastic surgery? After complaining about her appearance in a post-arrest tweet, the headline-making actress, 27, claimed to TMZ that she underwent a nose job on Saturday, June 1, in NYC. Telling TMZ that she had the surgery in Manhattan, the All That star explained: “I have no bandage on. It’s healing on its own like my doctor asked.” (In a May 27 tweet following the alleged bong-throwing incident, Bynes had said, “I’m getting in shape and getting a nose job!”) The former child star says there are more surgeries in the works. “I’m getting one more in 3 weeks, they are short amazing surgeries done while I’m awake but under general anesthesia. It’s almost perfect.” Bynes also announced the apparent surgery on, of course, her Twitter. “My dad is as ugly as RuPaul! So thankful I look nothing like you both!” she sniped. “I had nose surgery after my mug shots so my nose and I are gorgeous!” RuPaul caught wind of the insult and tweeted a response. “Derogatory slurs are ALWAYS an outward projection of a person’s own poisonous self-loathing @AmandaBynes,” the drag superstar, 52, wrote. She definitely has her priorities screwed up. Kudos to RuPaul for getting her together. Continue reading →
Chris Christie Reveals He Had Weight Loss Surgery This goes out to the haters who said ole Chrissy could never be president because he was too fat! According to NY Post: New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie secretly underwent lap-band stomach surgery to aggressively slim down for the sake of his wife and kids, he revealed to The Post last night. The Garden State governor agreed to the operation at the urging of family and friends after turning 50 last September. He told The Post he was thinking of his four kids and how it was time to start improving his health when he decided to have the procedure. “I’ve struggled with this issue for 20 years,” he said. “For me, this is about turning 50 and looking at my children and wanting to be there for them.” He also insisted that, contrary to what observers may say, the effort to slim down was not motivated by thoughts of a presidential bid. “It’s so much more important than that,” he said. Christie checked in to a surgery center on Feb. 16. A source said he registered under a false name. The operation included placing a silicone tube around the top of his stomach, where it restricts the amount of food he can eat at one time and makes him feel fuller, faster. Christie has struggled with his weight for decades. He sometimes jokes about it, while other times, it’s a sensitive topic. Insiders said it was the only thing keeping the straight-talking executive from higher office. Despite Christie’s denials, political fund-raisers say that the surgery is a clear sign that he’s going to join the 2016 race — and will do whatever it takes to win. “This means he’s running for president. He’s showing people he can get his weight in control. It was the one thing holding him back,” a top political donor told The Post. Sources said Christie didn’t make the decision lightly — he even had private conversations about the operation with once-rotund Jet coach Rex Ryan. Ryan lost about 100 pounds — down from a massive 350 — after he had the same procedure done in 2010. Christie has never revealed his weight, but estimates have run from about 300 to 350 pounds. He hired the same ace laparoscopic and bariatric surgeon as Ryan — Dr. George Fielding, head of NYU Medical Center’s Weight Management Program. Christie employed cloak-and-dagger tactics to hide the operation. First, he never went into Fielding’s office for medical visits — instead, the doctor came to the governor’s house in Mendham, the sources said. As he drops pounds, doctors will pump more saline solution into the lap band, restricting his stomach further and forcing him to eat even less. In 2006, Christie said in an interview that getting a more involved surgery — gastric bypass — was never a consideration because it was “too risky.” The enlivened pol said that he knew the clock was ticking on his health and that the time had come to do something drastic. “I know it sounds crazy to say that running for president is minor, but in the grand scheme of things, it was looking at Mary Pat and the kids and going, ‘I have to do this for them, even if I don’t give a crap about myself,’ ” he said. In a nutshell, we will probably see this former fat fawk in the 2016 Presidential Election. Good for him!!
Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn went public with their romance to foil the paparazzi, according to the golfer, while she is not freaked out by his sordid past. Ever since their simultaneous Facebook posts and photos confirmed what we suspected – Lindsey Vonn dating Tiger Woods – many have wondered: Why would the Olympic skiing gold medalist go for a man whose epic, marriage-ending sex scandal made him the poster child for whom not to date? Apparently, the answer is not all that complicated. “Tiger makes Lindsey happy,” says one of her friends. “She isn’t concerned what others think. She trusts her instincts. She’s comfortable with the relationship.” “They have sat down and talked it out more than once. He has explained his side and owned up to what he did wrong. He has been very honest with her.” “She’s not freaked out by his past.” A source close to Woods, 37, says the golfer has been open with Vonn, 28 about his past, which she once joked about during the scandal’s peak. Rumors of a relationship heated up early last month, when Woods sent his private jet to fly Vonn home to Vail, Colo., after a crash on the slopes. The crash at the Alpine World Championships in Austria left her with torn knee ligaments and a fractured shin – but more time with her man at least. Woods, who was at Vonn’s side during her surgery after flying her home, “has been really supportive as she recovers from her injuries,” says a pal. As for the public proclamation of their love, which would’ve been unthinkable a few years ago for Tiger, he said in an interview that it was for the best. “I’ve had situations where it’s been very scary, dangerous for my kids and the things, the extent they’ll go to,” Woods said of undercutting the paparazzi. Also, part of him delights in sticking it to the paps. “We basically devalued the first photos and, unfortunately, that’s just the way it is in our society right now and we felt this was best thing to do.” Most importantly, though, he’s just more comfortable with who he is these days. “It’s simple,” he says of the decision to go public. “We’re very happy.” What do you think? Will it last? Is Tiger a changed man? I think so. Give him a chance! I think not. Once a cheater … View Poll »
CNN : Born a man, Fallon Fox became a woman through surgery and then trained to fight in mixed martial arts. Now that she has won her first two MMA bouts — both in the first round — she has gone public as a transgender fighter, the first on record in a popular sport that some consider as the successor to boxing. “The reaction has been positive,” said Fox, 37, who revealed her story recently to Sports Illustrated after a journalist with another publication began to investigate her private surgery. “It’s just some people, some of society doesn’t get it yet. And this is what we’re trying to do now is to inform people and let them know about transgender athletes.” When asked if it’s fair for a man-turned-woman fighter to face another woman in the ring, Fox said there was “no unfair competitive advantages.” What was unfair, her last opponent and her manager say, is how Fox didn’t disclose until after the fight that Fox had a sex change operation. That opponent, Ericka Newsome, was knocked out this month with “a tie clinch,” or a knee to the chin, 39 seconds into the fight without anyone knowing of Fox’s background. It was “unfair I didn’t know it, but it didn’t matter that she fought me,” Newsome told CNN. “I feel that it should have been disclosed to me ahead of time…so we are aware and able to be better prepared for the situation.” She and her manager are going to appeal the loss in Florida on the grounds of how Fox failed to disclose being a transgender person and how the referee stopped the fight too early. “They should have let the fight go,” manager Matt Hamilton said. “She should have thrown at least one to two more shots to confirm it. On that particular basis, that’s one of the things we’ll appeal with, as well as not having it disclosed.” Meanwhile, the California State Athletic Commission is reviewing a claim by Fox that the state gave her a fighting license in 2013 when in fact the commission says her license application is still being reviewed, Sports Illustrated reported. Transgender fighter looking to get licensed Fox subsequently told Florida authorities that she had a California license, and now the Florida boxing commission is also reviewing Fox’s license application, the magazine reported. Also, Fox admitted she didn’t disclose to boxing authorities she is a transgender person but added she wasn’t asked to either, the magazine said. Sports Illustrated writer Loretta Hunt wrote of Fox’s 2006 gender reassignment surgery and winning her pro debut in May 2012. Hunt told CNN that guidelines for the Association of Boxing Commissions are similar to the International Olympic Committee’s policy that allows transsexuals to compete in Olympic games. The IOC requires transgender athletes to undergo hormone therapy long enough to remove gender-related advantages. In fact, Hunt said, mixed martial arts guidelines don’t require a sex-change surgery, but they do require two years of hormone therapy for transgender fighters. “Whether it comes after the surgery or it’s just on its own, that must be done and you must be tested throughout the two years,” Hunt said. “Those papers must be submitted to the athletic commission for review.” Newsome wants to fight Fox again, Hamilton said CNN
A Texas baby born with its heart on the outside of its body survived a risky surgery and now looks like she will thrive against nearly impossible odds. The little girl’s mom was told 16 weeks into her pregnancy that the fetus was developing a rare heart malformation that almost always proves fatal. “I was devastated,” Ashley Cardenas said earlier on Today . “I didn’t really understand what they meant by her heart was on the outside of her body.” Rather than terminate her pregnancy, Cardenas tried to beat the odds. Her daughter, Audrina, was born with ectopia cordis, a condition in which all or part of the heart is outside of the chest – which required major surgery. On Audrina’s second day of life, a team of 11 doctors at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston spent six hours performing a life-saving, open-heart surgery. That made room inside for the one-third of her heart that was outside. “The actual chest cavity doesn’t form in its proper dimension, so you can’t just put the heart back in there and close the door,” said Dr. Charles Fraser. Audrina beat long odds; her surgery was a success, and after many, many weeks in the hospital, Cardenas was finally able to hold her daughter. “It’s amazing,” said Cardenas, who also has 6-year-old twins at home. “I don’t even want to put her down. She looked like a normal baby.” Now four months old, Audrina the fighter is filling her mom with joy. “She’s just wonderful,” Cardenas says. “Just a wonderful little baby.” Audrina is fragile, though. She was discharged on January 23 with a pink external shield over her heart, which sits just below the skin and is still vulnerable. The little one is also on oxygen and a feeding tube, and requires around-the-clock care. Eventually, doctors will implant a permanent cover in her chest. By the time Audrina is in school, she should be just like her friends. Audrina’s condition is so unusual that it afflicts just eight out of 1 million babies – 90 percent of whom are stillborn or die within the first three days of life. “It’s extremely rare,” Fraser said. “Most of those children just don’t live.” Here’s hoping this one keeps on beating those odds.
Move over, Chicago. Dirk Schroeder will see your 18 human heads at airport and raise you some 16 items left in his body by a surgeon in Germany. After routine prostate cancer surgery failed to relieve the 74-year-old’s pain, a visiting nurse noticed the offending gauze pad emerging from one of his wounds. Schroeder underwent two operations to extract a haul of items, including a six-inch bandage roll, cotton swabs, a needle and a piece of surgical mask. The hospital insists the items entered his body after the surgery. His family is now suing the hospital despite their explanation.
