Things must be amiss if Kim Kardashian isn’t having a huge birthday bash to usher in her 36th year of life on this planet. Sources have revealed to E! that Kardashian just isn’t in the partying mood – surprise, surprise – and that the event, should there be one, will be low-key. The birthday girl turns 36 this week – Friday! – but she won’t be making a spectacle about it like she has in previous years. The source said, “Kim’s birthday is going to be a very quiet celebration this year.” “She has no plans on making a big bash.” “[Kardashian instead] will have an intimate birthday with her immediate family,” it was revealed. Guess she’s not going to invite random Twitter followers to her soirée? “She is not in any celebrating mood yet,” the source continued. “Kanye is trying to do whatever he can to make her feel better, but it’s just the constant memories of the robbery that keep on messing with her.” The source adds that Kim, incidentally, intends on spending the whole rest of 2016 in a “low-key” manner. “She just wants to be around her family at this time,” sources said. Things don’t seem to be getting much better, though, despite the fact that Kim has sought therapy to work through her ordeal. “Kim is very paranoid still when she is alone,” the source said. “She has been having flashbacks and hasn’t been sleeping well.” “Her security is always around her now.” However, a birthday might be a good milestone to celebrate in order to put the past year – and especially the past few weeks – behind her. After all, the robbery occurred on Monday, October 3rd, and by the time her birthday rolls around, it’ll be nearly 20 days’ time since the event occurred. We’re not saying that she doesn’t have the right to grieve the circumstance, of course, but perhaps it’s time to begin moving forward, instead of keeping yourself locked away and shut up in a guarded hole. That’s not doing anybody – herself included – any good. Kim’s stronger than this , as she’s proven over the years, enduring scandal after scandal. But hey, nothing – not even a good Kardashian – is unbreakable, right?

We’ve known that Jessa Duggar is expecting her second child for quite some time now, but there tends to be a several-month lag time between real life and reality TV. So the TLC Duggars are just now learning what the real-world Duggars have known for quite some time – and viewers will get to share in the moment during Tuesday’s installment of Counting On . Yes, Jessa and Ben will share the news of their forthcoming bundle of joy with the rest of her massive family on tonight’s episode: Jessa Duggar Pregnancy Announcement Video Jessa explains to the camera that she and Ben have planned a session with the family’s resident photographer, Jinger Duggar. “We have a little chalkboard that we’re going to have in the photos with us that has a special announcement for my family,” says Jessa. “Doubling the Love. Feb. 2017,” the chaklboard reads. “With my last pregnancy, we waited for about 12 weeks to announce to everybody, and so that’s about where we are right now,” she adds. “We’re about 14 weeks, so a little further along.” Jessa adds that one family member was able to piece things together on her own through a little sisterly intuition: “Jill asked me like, a week after we found out,” says Jessa. “We were video-chatting and she was like: ‘Are you pregnant?!’ But most of the family doesn’t know.” Jessa doesn’t seem to mind that her sister figured things out on her own, but she doesn’t want the secret getting any further than that. “We need to announce before it leaks on Twitter!” Ben jokes at one point. As for whether or not she and Ben are ready for the added responsibility, Jessa admits: “No — we’re not prepared, not yet. We’ll be getting prepared. Venida Browder Dies Of Broken Heart Following Son’s Suicide After 3 Years At Rikers Island We are sad to report that Venida Browder, the 63-year-old Bronx mother of Kalief Browder , who committed suicide after spending three years at Rikers Island without being convicted , has died following a heart attack, her lawyer told the Daily News Sunday . Browder died Friday at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, said attorney Paul Prestia. Five of her six surviving children were with her at the hospital when she passed. Her son’s story is referenced numerous times in Ava Duvernay’s latest film, the Netflix documentary The 13th , and Venida Browder was present for a press conference just weeks ago with Jay Z as he announced plans to produce a six-part documentary on Kalief’s life. Kalief was only 16 when he was jailed in May 2010 after being accused of stealing a backpack from another teen. His family was unable to post his $3,000 bail so Browder spent three hellish years at Rikers where he suffered being beaten by prison guards and spent most of his time (400 days) in solitary confinement before charges against him were dropped. After his release he suffered depression and attempted suicide several times before taking his own life just 16 months ago, when he hung himself using an air-conditioning cord.
