Steve Harvey: Trying to "Steal" Wendy Williams’ Talk Show?!

In recent weeks, Wendy Williams has been struggling with health issues that have prevented her from filming new episodes of her famously trashy talk show. Steve Harvey longs for a future in which you could channel surf for hours and see nothing but Steve Harvey with maybe the occasional glimpse of Kenan Thompson doing a Steve Harvey impression thrown in for variety. What do these two facts have to do with one another? Well, if a new report from Radar Online is to be believed, Wendy and Steve are embroiled in some sort of Shakespearean intrigue, and the media personality who emerges victorious will enjoy the coveted title of King or Queen of Syndicated Daytime Television. A source tells the site that producers are desperate for someone to fill in for Wendy while she’s on leave — and Steve believes he’s just the man for the job. “Wendy’s fans are very particular. They didn’t take well to Don Lemon when he stepped in. He lasted just one week,” a production insider tells the site. “It would take a very particular personality to step into Wendy’s shoes,” the insider adds. “The Fox guys see Steve as a big enough name, and word in the industry is the way he’s been treated by NBC, he feels they don’t deserve him.” That last comment refers to Harvey’s feeling that his current bosses are edging him out in favor of daytime newcomer Kelly Clarkson. NBC has apparently given coveted timeslots to Clarkson in several major markets, a fact that Harvey is clearly not thrilled with. As host of roughly 47 shows, Harvey obviously isn’t hurting for money, but those who know the host best say he has a competitive streak that cannot be contained. “Steve is all about one thing — winning,” says the insider. “He’s not going to let Kelly come out of nowhere, steal his time slot and get an easy ride.” Harvey reportedly feels a partnership with Fox will take him back to the top, and sees Williams’ show as an easy way to get his foot in the door. “If he goes back to a show run by a big network, they will pump lots of money into it — and he thinks it will get him back on top of the TV ratings,” the insider says. Unfortunately, for Harvey, Williams and Clarkson are not his only competition. Producers on Williams’ show are reportedly favoring Nick Cannon as a younger, hipper option. Bekah Martinez Welcomes Baby Girl!!!

Late last summer,  The Bachelor  alum and fan-favorite  Bekah Martinez revealed that she was pregnant . About a week ago, Bekah’s due date came … and went. Then, on Saturday, Bekah gave birth to her first child! See the pics: Though we have photos of Bekah’s baby to show you, the best photos of mother and daughter are a little NSFW. Bekah gave birth in a water birth, which is … the most Bekah Martinez thing we’ve ever heard. And though she endeavored to apply a dollop of censorship over her forbidden nips, the photo is still a lot. You’ve been warned. In the pair of black-and-white photos, Bekah is still in the tub of water, and she is cradling her newborn on her chest. Notably, her daughter appears to be very camera-shy. In every single photo. Bekah gave birth over the weekend, and we’ll let her caption tell the rest. Bekah’s boyfriend and baby-daddy, Grayston Leonard, attempted to take a few color photos of their daughter. The black and white pics, snapped by photographer Lauren Guilford, were a bit more successful. “On the morning of February 2nd, our little girl joined us earth-side,” Bekah writes in the caption. “And,” she continues. “We will never be the same.” “We are all as healthy and happy as can be,” Bekah assures her fans and followers. She and her baby girl really do appear to be so peaceful despite the mutual trauma of childbirth. Maybe there’s something to this water birth thing (but I’d still prefer an epidural, wouldn’t you?). Notably, Bekah and Grayston continue to refer to their daughter without a name. Why are they being mum about their baby’s name? Because they have yet to decide upon a name for their sweet little girl. It’s easy to make fun of parents for being indecisive about this, but nine months isn’t always enough time. This is the name by which people will know them. It’s part of the first impression they’ll give. Whatever Bekah decides will be on her daughter’s job applications. It’ll be the name that her classmates turn against her to tease her. That’s a lot of responsibility. You want to make the right choice. Last week, in late January, Bekah shared a photo of her whale of a baby bump. “Today is my official due date,” Bekah wrote. “My, what a journey it has been,” she reflected. “Thank you all for the love you’ve showered upon me,” she gushed. Bekah was a fan favorite among the Bachelor Nation because she’s an absolute delight. She continued: “There is so much from these past 9 months to be grateful for.” Just days earlier, Bekah had shared another pic, this time featuring her very bare baby bump. Honestly, that pregnant belly looks huge on a woman so small. “39 weeks + 5 days,” she wrote of her pregnancy.I actually have super-human patience right now.” “I know my due date is Tuesday,” she shared. “But I am perfectly at peace with going a couple weeks more.” Fortunately, her child was born about a week after she wrote this. “I trust my baby and I trust my body,” Bekah affirmed. “He or she will come when they’re fully ready for the journey earth-side.” The join me earth-side thing is … well, we of course do not want to make fun of anyone’s spiritual beliefs. But it is an unusual phrase.  Bekah will no doubt prove to be a fun and open-minded mother because that’s the sort of person she is. These days, she must be thanking her lucky stars that she jodged a bullet with Arie Luyendyk Jr. Actually, she’s been happy about that for a long time, now. Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club Recap: Lindsay Criticizes Cast For Violent Behavior!

Lindsay means business on her new show Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club which hit MTV only a few weeks ago. The 32-year-old is attempting to make a career comeback, not by acting, singing or politics, but this time by expanding her new business empire with the launch of ‘Lohan Beach House’ in Mykonos, Greece .  Throughout the show, Lindsay manages 8 American wannabes ambassadors hired to work for the club and its restaurant. It is with her pretentious team’s hard work and cooperation that Lindsay’s vision “can come to life,” according to MTV. Lindsay, who oversees and is in charge of everything that goes down at the club, went into complete boss mode on Monday night’s episode.  And not because someone spilled a drink or messed up a salmon order.  But, because a physical altercation broke out between two costars!  We all know how reality TV works, and we are not shocked by some violent, petty fights here and there. But, as for the “reformed” child star, she wasn’t going to stand one second of it. In case you missed it…which was probably because of  The Bachelor , Jonitta smacked housemate Gabi after tension between the two elevated.  And Lindsay was not impressed. After being a survivor of abuse herself, she no longer tolerates any negative or violent behavior.  Especially from women and especially when they are representing her “brand.” Lindsay sat the ladies down to have a conversation about how she can relate and knows what it feels like to be angry, especially “in the past” after a drink or two. According to toofab , Lindsay is referring to her ex-boyfriend who allegedly assaulted her on the same beach 2 years ago.  “I’m gonna try talking about this, to overcome all the stuff I was put through in that one moment means a lot to me and I sure as hell don’t want to send someone else home when you guys have so much potential and a great opportunity,” Lindsay says while tearing up.  She then clearly expressed that “another woman cannot hit another woman. Especially with what we are going through in the world these days, they should be doing the opposite. Coming together and saying he’s not worth it.” Wow, I’m almost convinced that the mess that was once Lindsay Lohan may actually be gone .  Thanks to Lindsay’s charitable conversation, the two girls made up and accepted their differences. For now.  After settling the girl’s mindless drama, Lindsay pulled in the entire cast where she continued to call out every single one of them for not protecting each other.  “The last thing we can do is hate on each other,” she added.  Lindsay then went on to share a story about how she had her attitude checked on set back in the day. *thanks the producers for keeping the show somewhat interesting*  “I was working with a woman and I was late to set one day on one of my movies. I was I think 30 minutes late and I was livid because she made a whole issue of it, stomping on set,” she said.  “I’m not gonna say who it is, but it put me in my place. Don’t be 30 minutes late.” Toofab spills that the story was likely about Georgia Rule , where Lohan and Jane Fonda’s relationship suffered due to disagreements on set, aka…tardiness.  Lindsay considered firing the girls at first for their immature behavior but decided to turn to Oprah to seek advice on how to handle the situation. Yes, I said Oprah. And yes, Lindsay should have gone to her years ago for some advice.  The Parent Trap star then made the decision to keep the girls. But to scare them a little and keep them on their toes she hired two new servers, Kyle and “The Challenge” alum Kailah Casillas. The rest of the episode included moments of cast members Mike and May fighting over doing the dishes, and Sarah and Brent going at it again due to jealousy issues. The episode concluded with Lindsay assessing her employees, calling May “lazy” and Jules “useless.” Looks like someone may be getting the boot here soon. Liam Neeson Wanted to Kill a "Black Bastard" After Friend Was Raped

For decades, Liam Neeson has enjoyed a place as one of Hollywood’s most beloved and bankable stars. But the Taken star may have just done irreparable damage to his reputation with one appalling comment. Neeson has been on a promotional tour for his new film, Cold Pursuit , which — like most of his recent projects — finds the Irish actor on a bloody quest for revenge after one of his loved ones is victimized. The plot of the film prompted Neeson to reflect on a time when he had been driven mad by a thirst for vengeance in his real life. He recalled an instance that occurred in his youth, in which a close friend of his was raped. “God forbid you’ve ever had a member of your family hurt under criminal conditions,” Neeson told The Independent . “She handled the situation of the rape in the most extraordinary way,” he added. “But my immediate reaction was … I asked, did she know who it was? No. What color were they? She said it was a black person.” Neeson went on to shock fans by revealing that he fantasized about exacting some sort of race-based violence. “I went up and down areas with a cosh [bludgeon], hoping I’d be approached by somebody — I’m ashamed to say that … hoping some ‘black bastard’ would come out of a pub and have a go at me about something, you know? So that I could … kill him,” Neeson recalled. Neeson went on to reveal that he behaved in this fashion for “a week, maybe a week and a half … [My friend] would say, ‘Where are you going?’ and I would say, ‘I’m just going out for a walk.’ ‘What’s wrong?’ ‘No, no, nothing’s wrong.’ ” “It was horrible, horrible, when I think back, that I did that. And I’ve never admitted that, and I’m saying it to a journalist. God forbid,” he added. “It’s awful. But I did learn a lesson from it, when I eventually thought, ‘What the f—k are you doing?’ “ We think it’s safe to say the whole world was happier not knowing about Liam’s past tendencies toward violent racism — and yet at the same time, maybe it’s a good thing he foolishly shared this story with the world. It’s a reminder of the sad fact that even seemingly progressive-minded longtime public figures like Liam Neeson are capable of shocking bigotry. Starring in Schindler’s List is apparently no guarantee that a person never harbored race-based violent fantasies. The actions that Neeson describes here are unforgivable, but if there’s a mitigating circumstance to be found, it’s that he may have suffered some sort of trauma as a result of his friend’s rape. The Independent consulted with an expert in rape and trauma, who revealed that it’s not uncommon for loved ones of victims to lash out and project in the fashion Neeson described: “Often it is less obvious to the loved ones of survivors that they might actually need support in dealing with their emotions themselves, just like the survivors,” she told the paper. “They experience a secondary form of trauma, she explains. Some start thinking about what they could have done differently, and they may contemplate seeking retribution.” Obviously, none of that makes it okay that Neeson stalked the streets of Dublin hoping to bludgeon a black man, but at least it’s a step toward understanding how such thinking might be possible. Perhaps anticipating the backlash to his insane remarks, Neeson went on to reveal that he had been desensitized to violence “I knew a couple of guys that died on hunger strike, and I had acquaintances who were very caught up in the Troubles, and I understand that need for revenge, but it just leads to more revenge, to more killing and more killing, and Northern Ireland’s proof of that,” he said. “All this stuff that’s happening in the world, the violence, is proof of that. But that primal need, I understand.” Neeson and his reps have not commented on this story.

Lady Gaga: Tearful Testimony In Kesha Rape Lawsuit Revealed

Back in 2016,  Kesha alleged that she had been raped by Dr. Luke, an A-list music producer who has worked with just about every big name in pop over the course of his career. The allegations never resulted in any criminal charges, but Kesha’s lawsuit against Luke and his subsequent countersuit have led to countless headlines and many hours of sworn testimony. At least two of Luke’s other high-profile collaborators have provided depositions thus far. Back in November, testimony from Katy Perry revealed that while she sympathized with Kesha, she denied the singer’s claims that she had also been raped by Luke . Documents that were unsealed that same week revealed that Lady Gaga provided emotional support to Kesha as she grappled with the decision to go public with her allegations. Gaga’s testimony was made public this week, and while the singer says she was never assaulted by Luke, her sympathy for her fellow abuse survivor is obvious. Before she began her testimony, Gaga’s lawyer revealed that whole episode “has proved to be a trigger event” for her. “[S]he has experienced in the past few hours some PTSD reactions which is causing some trauma and emotional reactivity,” he said. “So she is crying now the record will reflect.” From there, Gaga recounted meeting with Kesha not long after Luke’s alleged attack. “What we discussed was what I recall was her immense sadness and depression and fear,” Gaga recalled. “She was visibly very different than when I had seen her before, and — but I can’t say specifically what exactly we spoke about. I just recall that it was emotional, and I wanted to be there for her.” Gaga went on to reveal what Kesha later told her about the assault. “She told me that he used power and manipulation in some fashion or some type of verbiage,” Gaga recalled. “I am not repeating exactly the words that came out of her mouth, but that he used power and manipulation to control her, and that she had been given a happy pill, that he offered her something and that she took it, and that she woke up and didn’t remember, and that’s what she told me.” Asked if she felt that Kesha’s claims would damage Luke’s reputation, Gaga aptly pointed out that there are bigger things at stake here than one man’s reputation: “Reputation, if you are asking about his reputation in the world, I don’t feel at liberty to speak for the entire world,” the singer stated. “So if you are asking what my view is of his reputation, I made my view of him and his reputation when I saw her in that back room. That was an image that — of something that happened to me, and I felt and knew in my heart that she was telling the truth, and I believe her.” Asked why Kesha would come forward after initially remaining quiet about the alleged assault, Gaga became irate:  “And when this happens in this industry, it is kept extremely secret, and it is compounded by contracts and manipulative power scenarios that actually include this very situation that we are all in right now,” she told the court. “Why on earth would this girl tell the entire world that this happened? Why on earth? Do you know what it’s like for survivors? Caitlyn Jenner: Marrying Sophia Hutchins With Kanye West as Best Man?!?

Caitlyn Jenner has come to realize that Donald Trump is the worst , but Kanye West is still riding the Trump Train. Even so, these two are still part of the extended Kardashian family and have a lot in common. And that’s part of why Cait is reportedly planning to invite Kanye to be her Best Man when she marries Sophia Hutchins. RadarOnline   has released a shocking report that says that Caitlyn Jenner and Sophia Hutchins want Kanye to be Best Man at their wedding. “Of all the Kardashians, Cait says it’s Kanye who supported her when she was most vulnerable,” the insider explains. “She wants to honor him,” the source continues. There are plenty of ways to do that. A nice card, for example. A tasteful gift. Instead, the insider says that Cait wants to repay Kanye “with the role as ‘best man’ at the ceremony.” We don’t mean to tell Cait how to live her life or plan her wedding. But … doesn’t she have three sons and a stepson? Surely, one would assume, Sophia could talk Cait out of having Kanye be the Best Man. But the source tells  RadarOnline  that Sophia is “all for it.” According to the insider: “They will always hold a grudge.” After Kris and Khloe began keeping Cait at arm’s length, “Kanye’s stayed friendly with Caitlyn and makes it known,” the source notes. As far as Cait and Sophia are concerned, the insider says, “Kanye stuck up for Cait.” The source continues, saying that Kanye did so “even when she wasn’t on good terms with his wife, Kim.” That was something “which means a lot” to Cait, the insider explains. That makes a lot of sense, though it doesn’t quite mesh with this next bit. “She knows it may annoy Kim and Kris that she wants Kanye to stand up for her at the wedding,” the source acknowledges. “But,” the insider continues. “She can’t help that.” “There’s a lot of love and respect between Cait and Kanye.” the source characterizes. The insider then claims that “not even the Kardashians can come between them!” Well, it’s certainly true that no one seems to be able to control Kanye. So, which parts of this report are confirmed? The part about Cait being at odds with most of the Kardashian clan is true. She wrote a tell-all book that many of them felt was insulting, especially to Kris. Some of them feel that  Caitlyn betrayed her family , even though Kendall and Kylie still love her. But as for the rest? No. It’s not just the bit about making Kanye their Best Man just to stick it to Kris and Kim somehow, either. Cait and Sophia go everywhere together and appear inseparable, whether it’s at home or on vacation. But technically, they’re not even confirmed as anything more than very good friends. Until these gal pals say otherwise, they’re not planning a wedding. Or engaged. Or dating. It’s understandable that they don’t feel like being outspoken about … whatever the nature of their relationship may be. First of all, their age gap would raise people’s eyebrows. Second of all, trans women’s bodies are fetishized and people have some horrific opinions based upon their perceived sex lives. They could be very good friends who don’t want to fan flames and rumors by denying them. Or they could be dating but it’s just literally nobody’s business. Folks, Amber Portwood is unleashing her infamous wrath on Instagram again — and this time, her target is a couple that definitely deserves it. Amber let loose on Jenelle Evans and David Eason during a live rant this morning, and for millions of Eason-haters, it was glorious to behold. Sure, Amber's had her problems over the years — who hasn't? — but Jenelle and David aren't messed up in a “relatable reality star” kind of way Unless, of course, you consider bigoted tirades, constant abuse allegations, and visits from the Secret Service to be relatable. No, what we have here is a pair of trainwrecks who need to be put in their place. And it seems Amber is the one to do it. Take a look: 1. David Eason Just Accused Nathan Griffith of Raping a 10-Year Old

We really didn't think it was possible for David Eason to sink any lower. This is a guy who openly embraces the Confederate Flag … who can't get enough of his gun collection … who almost definitely beat his wife  … and who is openly and proudly homophobic. Dude is just a terrible person. But just when we assumed we had seen his worst, the former Teen Mom 2 star and husband of Jenelle Evans defies expectations. Eason has blasted Nathan Griffith – Evans' former fiance, and the father of her second child Kaiser – on social media. Griffith previously accused Eason, who fathered Jenelle's third child Ensley, of beating Kaiser . That alone was horrifying. But Eason has upped the ante with this allegation, one that leaves even THG shocked that Eason truly went there. Nathan Also Refused to Return Kaiser to Jenelle Last July He called child protective services and alleged that his son had been abused while he was with his mother and step-father. 6. The Duggar Family Uses a Secret Code Word For the Weirdest Reason

As Duggar fans (and viewers who love to hate-watch) have observed, Duggar courtships are getting shorter and shorter . Patriarch Jim Bob will do anything to keep his kids chaste until marriage, even if it means marrying them off sooner. The Duggars have another tool to keep their kids “pure” … a code word that they say under this bizarre circumstance. In their book, Growing Up Duggar , sisters Jana, Jessa, Jill, and Jinger reveal a lot about their controversial family. One of those long-forgotten, overlooked details is a code word that is used by the Duggar women in a specific situation. The secret code word is … … “Nike.” All jokes about the Duggars invoking the name of the winged goddess of victory aside, they are clearly referring to the brand of shoes. And no, it’s not out of support for the NFL’s Colin Kaepernick, although we can see Ben Seewald appreciating the irony. Why do they say it? Michelle and her daughters say “Nike” if they see a woman dressed by standards others than the Duggar dress code. Oh yes. The girls give this warning if they see a harlot with bare arms or wearing jeans or showing her unholy knees. Or, who knows. Maybe even their lower thighs. In response, the Duggar boys are required to look down at their feet so that they won’t see a normal human woman. It’s essentially the literal exact opposite of pointing out a hottie to your friend when you’re walking around town. We’ll hand it to them on one key point at least: “Nike” is a pretty subtle way of telling the guys to stare at the ground. To outsiders, it would just appear as if the guys are bored or painfully shy. Or perhaps really interested in footwear. But we know. We know. They’re also consistent. Michelle has spoken in the past about why her daughters are required to dress a certain way. The women of the Duggar are basically forced to wear the baggiest clothing that hides their skin and curves. “By keeping those private areas covered,” Michelle explained. “There’s not any ‘defrauding’ going on.” Yes. Defrauding. In real life, the entire notion of fraud is usually predicated upon lies or broken promises or other deceptions. Michelle and Jim Bob see things very, very differently (as is true of most things) as evidenced by their interpretation of this. “My kids are taught the definition of defrauding as stirring up desires that cannot be righteously fulfilled,” Michelle adds. “We don’t believe in defrauding others by the way we dress.” Within the Duggar household, they do not believe in any sexual activity – or kissing or hand-holding – before marriage. If you stop and think about it, what Michelle is saying there goes beyond even the bounds of “normal” modesty culture. She’s not simply arguing that women are magically responsible for the sexual thoughts of men, though there’s that, too. Michelle’s saying, almost outright, that a provocative glimpse, whether it’s of bare skin or of covered curves, is a promise. A promise of sex. There’s a word for social attitudes that frame the physical appearance of women as an invitation or a promise to have sex: rape culture. It is this exact mentality that causes predators to walk free and for survivors of sexual violence to blame themselves. So … yikes. It isn’t morally superior to drape yourself in 19 bulky layers, or to strut around in a crop top and miniskirt. Sorry. We’ll come out and say it. They’re both just bits of cloth. Because not ONE OUNCE of me agrees with what he has done. As a survivor, I have learned that you can’t acknowledge one abuse without the other.
