Because not ONE OUNCE of me agrees with what he has done. As a survivor, I have learned that you can’t acknowledge one abuse without the other. In a never-aired interview for Cassius , former Interactive One VP Jamilah Lemieux sat down with the Grammy winner in May 2018 to discuss a range of topics, including his past collaboration with the Pied Piper. It’s just prevalent in all media, and when you see n***as getting beat up by the police, it’s men,” Chance says in the interview clip. “That’s a scene you see…slavery for a lot of people, they envision men in chains, he said. Adding, “But Black women are exponentially a higher oppressed and violated group of people just in comparison to the whole world. In a note he shared on social media, the 25-year-old explained his controversial quote: “The quote was taken out of context. The truth is any of us who ever ignored the R Kelly stories, or ever believed he was being setup/attacked by the system (as Black men often are) were doing so at the detriment of Black women and girls. Jesus Take The Wheel: Family Beats The Brakes Off Uncle For Crushing 1-Year-Old Niece With Car & Fleeing

Source: Fresno Police / Fresno Police Man Beaten And Arrested After Running Over Baby Niece With Truck A 33-year-old man from Fresno, California most likely received  the beat down of his life after he seemed to accidentally hit his niece with his truck and kept driving. According to reports by The Daily Mail,  23-month-old Zayliah Medina was seen walking in front of the truck before he uncle, 33-year-old Eddie Alvarado, rolled over here, crushing her. In a weird twist, her uncle keeps driving and family members start to chase him. It was all caught on camera. Zayliah has been left with head trauma, spinal trauma, injuries to her organs and broken bones as a result. Alvarado sustained his own injuries after being assaulted in retaliation to hurting his niece according to Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer. The man didn’t snitch of who exactly assaulted him. He was booked Wednesday on hit-and-run charges. As we said earlier, it was all caught on video. This is GRAPHIC footage of the actual incident. This weekend if you plan to Netflix and Chill you need to check out Bird Box starring Sandra Bullock, Trevanté Rhodes, Lil Rel, MGK, John Malkovich and more. It’s an ensemble cast who come together to take this suspense thriller to every level on the emotional roller coaster. The movie kicks off when a mysterious force infects the population, causes everyone who encounters it, to commit suicide. Quickly you find out that if you see it, you die. So in order to survive, you must avoid coming face to face with an entity because it takes the form of your worst fears. The movie centers around a group of survivors who are locked in a house. Through a series of flashbacks and time jumps you will follow a woman and her children dangerous journey through the woods and down a river to find the one place that may offer sanctuary. When I heard the story I just had to feature this movie for my #XillaMovieParty series and I had New York’s top influencers and celebrities in the building. Donna and Alex from Black Ink Crew, comedian TravQue, Yarisbeth and BET’s Hustle In Brooklyn Ivy Rivera were in the building to name a few. As guests enjoyed snacks and the comfortable seats of iPic Theaters and Hennessy cocktails after the screening while they got to wonder what they would have seen if they saw the entity. I also got to sit down with Trevante Rhodes and Sandra Bullock for a dope interview where they talked about filming this amazing film, Sandra and Trey also have a heart to heart conversation about how well Rhodes’ mother raised him. Along with talking about what they learned from kids. Sandra revealed that she had no idea what love really was. “I’m going to start crying… I had absolutely no idea wht Love was about but i have to leave it here because I’ll get all misty.” While Trevante agreed with Sandy but explained that being around children helped him identify a purity and honesty that exist in kids.

Farrah Abraham: Check Out My Brand New Boob Job!

So Farrah Abraham, just in case you couldn’t tell, has had some plastic surgery done. You know, just a little bit here and there. Huh, what’s that? She looks like an entirely different human being than she did less than 10 years ago? She’s had so much work done that it’s a wonder her parents even recognize her? Oh. Yeah, OK, so our girl here is no stranger to plastic surgery, that’s true. She’s had a nose job, a chin implant (which she later removed), and several vaginal rejuvenations . She’s had some kind of procedure meant to tighten her backside, as well as plenty of butt injections . And who could even begin to count all the lip injections, Botox, and fillers? No one without infinite time on their hands, that’s who. On top of all that, Farrah has had not one, not two, but three boob jobs. She hasn’t messed with them for a few years, but just in time for Christmas, she’s gone and done something new! Check it out, but don’t say we didn’t warn you: That’s a screenshot from a Snapchat video she shared yesterday evening from a clinic in Beverly Hills. Pretty wild, right? “Hey ladies,” she said in the video. “I’ve been wanting to do this for a really long time, scar camouflage, after my surgeries.” “A surgery, then we’re all done. It is like natural and brand new.” The point of the scar camouflage, of course, is to cover up the scars she got in her previous boob jobs . It’s interesting though, because she’s calling this a surgery, but from what we can tell, this procedure is really more of a kind of tattooing. According to her clinic’s site, “A unique pigment is created for and matched to each patient based on their natural skin color.” “Scars begin to blend with the rest of the skin after several sessions.” They also work with burn victims and other trauma survivors, they cover up birthmarks and stretch marks, and they even do work with people who need breast reconstruction after mastectomies. But all throughout their site, they refer to the “treatments” and “procedures” they offer. It’s not surgery. So is Farrah just confused? (Well, she’s always confused , but is she using the wrong word in this specific instance?) Is she getting another surgery somewhere? Keep Your Head Up: ‘Hate U Give’ Star Opens Up About Sexual Assault

A mandla Stenberg  recently opened up about sexual assault and the pain that she has grappled with because of it. ‘The Hate U Give’ star, who is only 19, detailed her trauma in a recent op-ed for Teen Vogue that was as transparent as it is poignant. Her accounts of two sexual assaults were detailed and emotional. “My breath was the tool I relied on when I ended up in a foreign country on a three-hour train ride to find an emergency contraceptive,” Stenberg said. “The night before, what started as a consensual experience had turned forceful. Painful things had been done to my body that made me feel broken and disposable. I was unable to consent to them, and was silenced verbally and physically when I protested.” “The moment you speak out about assault, you’ve entered a battle where you’ve been appointed defender of your own legitimacy.” https://t.co/v9PGcZmHxa — Teen Vogue (@TeenVogue) October 8, 2018 Stenberg carefully explained how she was confronted by a myriad of feelings: guilt, shame, blame and vulnerability. She then spoke up for survivors who have to find their voice after trauma. “The moment you speak out about assault, you’ve entered a battle where you’ve been appointed defender of your own legitimacy,” Stenberg said. “You are given the responsibility of, after having just been subjected to devastating trauma, navigating impossible protocols, lest you be charged as the culprit in your own attack. You’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t … We should not be condemned for being unsure of how to move through pain.” Stenberg acknowledged her pain, thanked Dr. Ford’s and other survivors’ for sharing their stories and offered encouraging and healing words to those who have experienced assault. In return, many people have taken to social media to thank the actress. “To whomever may need to know this: It is not your fault. It is not your responsibility to figure this out by yourself. I thought that that was important, because I knew without that, based upon the fact that Tina lives for her children, that it didn’t stand a chance unless they were on board,” Richard said. “I was fortunate enough that they were completely on board and just over the top excited about it.” In between the love story, Tina mentioned how she prayed for a man like him but noted that he wasn’t perfect.   He said, “no?” She turned around rapidly and stayed firm, saying “no,” in return. She has always been very open about her battle with breast cancer and how she survived it twice. If you know that your great-grandmother or anyone in your family battled the disease it can help you when going to see your doctor. Dr. Jackie also wants people to know that doing your own breast examinations as well as going to get mammograms every year at a certain age can help as well. She mentioned that one of her youngest patients that passed from breast cancer was only 18-years-old. Kathryn Dennis: I’m a Domestic Violence Survivor. This is My Story.

Over the past several weeks, each time we’ve written about Kathryn Dennis, it’s been in relation to Thomas Ravenel. That’s what happens when you share two kids with the lead of a Bravo reality show… … and then that lead gets accused of sexual assault by two women . In this case, however, we’re here to talk about the Southern Charm star and a different man from her past. We don’t know his name. But we do know that this individual sadly has had a major impact on Dennis’ life. On Sunday evening, the 27-year old posted both the following image on Instagram and included with it a lengthy message about how she is a surivor of domestic abuse. Dennis proceeded to tell her story via this social media platform, prefacing the emotional post with a caption that reads: “This is my past, perfectly put…. worth the read. This is the real aftermath.” The reality star then went into painful detail as follows: I spend a lot of time thinking about those questions. I never saw myself in these situations and neither did anyone else. I had strong opinions, a sharp mind, and an independent spirit. But before I knew it, I was left with a broken spirit, mixed opinions, and an anxious and uncertain mind. I didn’t know who I was anymore. Dennis never names her abuser. She doesn’t get into specifics about the incident or incidents, either. Instead, she focuses more on the effects this experience has had on her life — and continues to have on her life. It was the deepest, darkest secret I kept. And this wasn’t about any particular situation/relationship as much as it was my relationship with men. It ran deep and dark, and I never realized the impact it had on myself and on my self-worth. In these depths of despair, I couldn’t see a way out of this cycle. It seemed anywhere I turned pushed me further and further away from getting to a safe place physically, mentally, and emotionally. I looked around and within and realized that my self-worth had been damaged long before I even realized it was possible. This made me really question myself. And this is how Dennis concludes: Was it me? Was this normal behavior, and I was the one in the wrong? I knew deep down inside that wasn’t the case, but I was stuck in quicksand being guided by those who kept my head above, but my feet locked in. Powerful stuff, no? Tragically, there are millions of women out there who can relate to most everything Dennis describes here. She went on to share a handful of memes, such as the ones below: Kathryn’s revelation about her past trauma with domestic violence comes just weeks after her ex-boyfriend, Ravenel, was arrested for second degree assault and battery . The ex-Bravo personality was taken into custody on charges related to sexual assault claims made by his former nanny, Dawn, who cared for his and Kathryn’s two kids, Kensington, 4, and Saint Julien, 2, years ago. Bill Cosby: Hit in Face By Airborne Chicken Sandwich in Jail Cafeteria

Bill Cosby is two weeks into his three-to-ten year sentence and has started to really get a look at his life behind bars . His larger-than-life personality is reportedly not meshing well with his fellow inmates. A new report says that one prisoner got so fed up with him that he chucked the chicken patty from his sandwich at him, striking Cosby in the face. RadarOnline reports that Cosby was on the receiving end of a projectile patty of the chicken variety. “Mr. Cosby cracked a joke to another inmate by the infirmary,” their insider reports. The source continues: “and that inmate was mad enough to take his chicken out of the bun and plunge it at him.” The report notes that prison food isn’t exactly served in a buffet, so there must have been a great deal of ire behind the move. “The way I see it,” the insider says. “You have to be very angry to throw your meal in jail because I don’t think you get seconds.” We would imagine not. (Disclaimer: these chicken patties are probably a lot nicer than the institutional chicken disk that allegedly struck the disgraced comedian) The alleged incident comes on the heels of a report that said that Cosby was enjoying the chicken patty. “Mr. Cosby told us last week that the chicken patty was the best meal he had so far at SCI Phoenix … so that says a lot,” the source notes. We already mentioned a report that Cosby has earned a nickname and some undeserved respect from fellow inmates. “They’re calling him the ‘OG,'” the insider claimed. “Lingo for ‘original gangster.” Clearly, that respect was not universal. There was another report that said that Cosby tried pudding in prison, and that it was apparently not to his liking. “He told us on the phone over the weekend ‘I was promoting THIS garbage?!’” The source claimed. “It tastes like something you give a lizard!” Cosby was famous in the ’90s as the face of jello and pudding advertisements. “We were caught by surprise,” the insider stated. “We never asked him: ‘Hey, Mr. Cosby, have you ever tried pudding or Jell-O?’” “I never saw him and I don’t think anybody else ever saw him eating pudding or Jell-O,” the source admitted. The insider concluded: “but I was pretty damn shocked when he told us he tried it and it wasn’t what he expected.” Of course, a conflicting report casts into doubt everything that we’ve heard. TMZ spoke to someone at the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections. “This did NOT happen,” their insider said forcefully of the chicken patty incident. “And,” the source continued. “I am unhappy with anyone who is reporting such fake news.” What’s more is that Cosby has allegedly had no contact whatsoever with fellow inmates while he is evaluated by prison staff. Cosby is two weeks in and, no matter whose report you believe, it seems safe to say that he’s no longer living his best life. He wants out of prison — and we’re not referring to the goofy claim that Cosby is planning an elaborate prison break . No, we mean that his legal team is fighting in court. They are appealing, trying to throw out his sentence, his conviction, and even the judge . We wouldn’t hold our breath. His wife, Camille Cosby, is said to be demanding that the judge be investigated. It would be a surprise if her efforts bear fruit. Cosby has been sentenced to prison, and he may even spend the rest of his life behind bars. But his conviction for the drugging and sexual assault of Andrea Constand is just a drop in the bucket considering that 60 women came forward to accuse him of similar crimes. Though some of these survivors may feel vindicated that he is behind bars, very few if any of them will also get their day in court. Some waited “too long” to report for the legal system to accept. Others are unable to corroborate. Many feel that Cosby’s incarceration is a victory — but a hollow one.
