Kanye West to Kim Kardashian: You Are SO Beautiful!

Kanye West surprised Kim Kardashian at the couple’s rehearsal dinner last night by bringing Lana Del Ray out to perform. But Lana Del Ray apparently surprised Kanye right back, arriving a bit late and forcing the rapper to kill some time… by gushing over his bride-to-be. “Kanye kept making the cutest remarks to her,” an onlooker tells Us Weekly. “He said, ‘It’s amazing to look around this room, there are so many talented people… ‘Kim’s way more beautiful than I am talented.’ It was so sweet — he said a couple adorable things like that.” The witness went on to say Kimye “seemed so happy.” The dinner took place at the Palace of Versailles, but today’s ceremony will go down at Florence’s Forte di Belvedere in Italy. Kim and Kanye will exchange vows in front of a huge wall of white flowers, a larger version of the present Kanye sent his fiancee to celebrate Mothers’ Day this year. Following the nuptials, guests will eat on a 70-meter-long marble banquet table – a gift from marble-craftsman Gualtiero Vannelli, courtesy of a quarry in Carrara –  that had to be hoisted in pieces over the side of the fortress walls and put together inside. A huge dance floor, meanwhile, will be in the middle of the fort, while power generators (covered in drapes) will surround the area in order to ensure the party goes all night. Guests are expected to start arriving at 6 p.m. local time. Can you feel the excitement?!? Kim and Kanye in Vogue: See the Pics! 1. Kanye, Kim and North for Vogue Awww, what a loving family! Elliot Rodger, Santa Barbara Shooting Suspect, Releases Disturbing Retribution Video

In a rampage police are describing as “premeditated mass murder,” seven people were killed last night when a young man opened fire from a slow-moving vehicle in Isla Vista near the University of California-Santa Barbara. Seven others are being treated for injuries at a local hospital. Among those dead is the suspected shooter, a 22-year old named Elliot Rodger. According to Santa Barbara County sheriff’s office spokeswoman Kelly Hoover, authorities have “obtained and [are] currently analyzing written and video evidence” from Rodger that suggests this horror had been planned as an act of revenge. The video in question is titled “Retribution” and it was posted by Rodger hours before his alleged actions. The clip describes Rodger’s anger over girls not finding him attractive and how he plans to make everyone pay. It’s frightening, disturbing stuff: Elliot Rodger Retribution Video Rodger is the son of Peter Rodger, the second unit director of the The Hunger Games . He died at the scene of a gunshot to the head, although it remains unclear whether or not the wound was self-inflicted.

Jay-Z Clears Up Kanye West Fight Rumors

Here is the original post:

Jay-Z made an impromptu stop to Angie Martinez’ radio show to clarify rumors about a fight with Kanye West over tour differences. While rumors state that Jay, the suspected frugal of the pair wants to skimp on “all of the lights” and expensive stage sets, Jay set the record straight saying that he actually does want to spend a lot of money and “I would never disrespect that man, I have so much respect for him.” As for putting his hands on the genius also known as Kanye West, unless they are in a casual backyard type setting he would never touch Kanye. “Kanye’s my brother, yes we get on each others nerves, we push each other.” Listen here: Jay-Z & Kanye West Already Fighting Over “Watch The Throne” Tour Kanye West Spotted On Set Of “Otis” Music Video [PHOTO]

The Russian Spy Caper: So Funny, Except When It’s Not

Leave it to the Russians to not understand that the Cold War is dead and buried. The 10 alleged deep-cover operatives who were arrested on Monday may number more spies than were here in the 1950s, when there was a real possibility of war between the U.S. and Russia. (An 11th suspect was apprehended in Cyprus but released on bail.) You have to wonder what the Russians could have been thinking to spend the tens of millions of dollars that such an espionage infrastructure costs. Were they planning for a new Cold War? The other odd thing is that the suspected Russian operatives seem to have been stuck with a Cold War spy's craft, with secret writing, dead drops and money stashes. What was wrong with flying to Europe to meet your control officer once a month? On top of that, there was a comic sloppiness to the whole operation. At one point, an undercover FBI agent introduced himself to one of the suspects, claiming to be a substitute-control officer. Not only did the alleged Russian operative fall for it, she didn't notice that afterward, she was followed by more undercover FBI agents to a Verizon store, where they observed her buying a prepaid phone card. They then observed her as she apparently dropped the Verizon bag into a trash can — with the receipt in it. The name on it was Irene Kutsov — not the Americanized alias she reportedly used in the U.S. — and the address “99 Fake Street.” Indeed, the suspects were not charged with espionage but, much less glamorously, conspiring to act as unauthorized foreign agents and conspiring to commit money laundering. Moscow has called the accusations baseless. Read more: http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,2000396,00.html?xid=rss-topstorie… added by: Sexirobot

90-Year-Old Granny Arrested For Dealing Pot; Had 170 Pounds

90-year-old grandmother suspected of selling cannabis was arrested Friday after police raided her home and found more than 170 pounds of marijuana. A squad of armed South African police officers with drug dogs stormed the elderly woman's home and discovered the pot stashed in multiple bags, according to the Daily Mail. “This lady was quiet, old and looked like an angel sent from God,” said the rather poetically inclined Police Inspector Kobeli Mokheseng. “But we received a tip-off two weeks ago that a lot of people were going into her house and coming out looking happy,” Mokheseng said. Wow, happy people? That will not do! Obviously, law enforcement was called for, don't you think? “We sent in a drugs team who were prepared for a shootout, but they soon realized there was nobody to fight,” Mokheseng said. Police found three types of marijuana, locally known as dagga, stashed in the pensioner's garden shed. The elderly lady, who said she lived alone in the four-room home east of Johnannesburg, South Africa, was arrested and taken into custody. “She will spend the weekend behind bars, educating the police officers on what she was doing,” Inspector Mokheseng said. “This was quite an extensive operation going on, with three types of the drug — called Swazi, Local and Skans,” Mokheseng said. Wow, three separate strains? Granny's got it goin' on. “We found money in plastic bags ready for the bank,” Mokheseng said. “She was making quite a lot of cash.” “We understand she has many children and grandchildren, and we are trying to contact them,” the police inspector said. The woman is scheduld to appear before Alberton Magistrates' Court on Monday. She is charged with possession of illegal substances and selling cannabis. added by: Omnomynous
