The Guy Who Flew Thousands of Passengers As a Fake Pilot

This is Thomas Salme, a maintenance engineer who became a Boeing 737 pilot by flying a few nights in a flight simulator and printing a fake airliner pilot license. Amazingly enough, he flew passengers for thirteen years without any incidents. Thirteen years of back and forth from Sweden to everywhere else in Europe. Nobody noticed until a couple of months ago, when Salme was caught by the police as he was getting ready for take off. He was in the cockpit of a Boeing 737, with 101 passengers at Amsterdam's Schipol airport. He admits that it was all a crazy idea: “I got the crackpot idea to apply as a co-pilot at a real airline so I made myself a Swedish flying permit with a logo out of regular white paper. It wasn't laminated, and looked like something I'd made at home. It was surprisingly easy. The documents look different everywhere in Europe. An Italian airline doesn't know what a Swedish licence looks like. And you can forge all the IDs you need. I'd train there for two or three hours at a time—at least 15 to 20 times over one and a half years.” added by: lordsbassman

Tiger and Elin Woods: Not on Speaking Terms

Tiger Woods and wife Elin are no longer speaking to each other, according to new reports that cite no named sources, but are probably believable anyway. Both have hired divorce lawyers and things have gotten so bad that the couple uses intermediaries to communicate, a source close to both of them claims. She’s fighting for the kids in private, but tries to keep their children protected from their deteriorating marriage. Thus, Tiger and Elin refrain from arguing. They also refrain from speaking to one another, period. “Elin has the nannies take the children back and forth,” one source said regarding how the children are moved to and from Tiger and Elin Woods’ homes. Elin moved out of the home they shared and into a rented house about a mile away. One of Tiger’s employees goes over logistics and schedules with her. Relations between Tiger and Elin Woods? Not exactly cordial. “They’ve had no conflict over the kids but they’ve also had no contact,” the source said. “Elin Woods has made it very clear this is the way she wants it.” Elin stopped going into Tiger’s house when dropping off the children, and now has their nannies take the children from house to house during the day. “They don’t speak anymore,” the source said, noting that the relationship is growing worse. “Even on the rare times when they see each other in person.” Elin has taken four trips away from Tiger in the past several weeks, including one to her native country (she’s rumored to be moving to Sweden for good). She stopped putting out a while ago too. When Tiger announced his return to golf, Elin believed he wasn’t sincere about changing his life. Prior to that, it appeared the marriage could be saved. Despite the fact that both sides have lawyers and barbs have already been traded in the looming split, there has been no Tiger Woods divorce filing. Yet.

Elin Woods: Fighting For the Kids!

After enduring months of the Tiger Woods sex scandal, Elin Nordegren is desperate to leave the sordid mess – and she’s battling to help her kids escape it as well. She wants to leave and raise her children, Sam, 2, and Charlie, 15 months, in her homeland of Sweden, and wants her divorce from Tiger Woods to permit that. “Elin is working around the clock to cut a custody deal that will allow her to permanently move herself and the kids to Sweden,” a friend of Elin Woods reports. According to sources, Tiger knows he can’t fight her decision to move home to Sweden , but retained high-power international custody lawyer Thomas Sasser. That’s more to make sure he gets visitation and doesn’t lose access to the kids when she gets there than to stop her from proceeding with her move, though. Will Elin Woods divorce Tiger and relocate with the cubs? “Elin is fighting for sole custody ,” says one insider. “Tiger is having none of it,” says another. Sources close to Elin Woods say she just wants to shield her children from the scandal, not punish Tiger Woods, even after everything he did to hurt them all. “Elin would never, ever stop him from seeing them” the friend says. “Her only focus is the children. They have always been her primary concern in all of this.” All indications are that there is little to no hope of reconciliation at this point, and the only question surrounding the couple’s divorce is who will file first .

Tiger Woods Divorce Being Hammered Out Quietly?

Tiger and Elin Woods’ divorce, while not official yet, is reportedly in the works, and will be banged out hard and fast … insert obligatory Joslyn James joke here. The golfer and his estranged wife are trying to strike agreements on custody and division of assets . Once they do, they’ll quietly and quickly file divorce papers. This according to sources very familiar with the situation. Not surprisingly, the important thing for both Tiger and Elin Woods, aside from equitable sharing of their kids, is keeping the terms of the divorce confidential.

Tiger and Elin Woods’ Divorce: Who Will File First?

Elin Nordegren is so over Tiger Woods. That’s the consensus from everything we’ve read, and it’s hard to blame the woman. But is Tiger over his wife, as well? All indications are still that a divorce is ” 100 percent happening ,” and it’s not just the endless parade of cocktail waitress mistresses that solidified their fate. “The writing is on the wall,” says a well-versed source close to Tiger. “He committed to several additional golf tournaments, which effectively says eff you, Elin.” “She was not in support of him returning to golf. His self-imposed hiatus didn’t last; he screwed up at the Masters and left his calm, collected image in ruins.” The insider, who has dealings with Tiger Woods both professionally and socially, believes an official divorce announcement could be a mere few days away. Still, this is Tiger Woods Inc. Even the specifics of how the divorce will be announced has potential to be quite the protracted battle between Tiger and Elin. Tiger’s marriage status resembles his face in this awesome doctored pic . “Even [the divorce] will be negotiated,” the source says. “Does [Tiger] take the high road and ‘allow’ her to file, or can he not stand the idea of people thinking he wasn’t in control? What will the statement say regarding custody?” “Right now, you’d think he’ll be bargaining for joint physical custody when she’ll surely want to piss him off and file for sole custody. As for spousal/child support? I daresay things are about to get even juicer than you think.” Really? We’re thinking pretty juicy stuff. If we were Elin, we’d take a cue from the Sandra Bullock-Jesse James divorce and get the ball rolling ASAP. What’s the use in dragging it out? Give up. Move on. She supposedly wants to start over in Sweden . Hopefully, if Tiges respects his soon-to-be former wife and kids, he’ll just bow out and let her do as she pleases. This would make sense from a business standpoint, too. His PR blitz wouldn’t exactly get a boost from preemptively ditching the wife … if she does, though? Maybe, just maybe, the public sees Tiger Woods as a sympathetic figure, or at least a guy who got what he deserved and can now move on to better things. Like the Orlando cocktail lounge VIP scene. Reports: Elin Woods to Start Over in Sweden

Updating previous reports, Tiger Woods’ wife Elin supposedly wants to return to live in her native Sweden, according to sources close to the situation. Elin is currently in that country with the couple’s two young kids. Tiger said he spent time with family after the Masters, but he’s certainly not there. While he lives the single life in Florida and resumes his golf career, Elin is making plans for a life after she divorces Tiger, a source told Radar Online. “Divorce is openly discussed,” the source said. “And a deal will be worked out.” It looks like time may be running out on this marriage . Tiger and Elin’s marriage took a turn for the worst in recent months after the embattled couple seemed to get closer when Tiger came out of sex rehab. While no Tiger Woods divorce papers have been filed yet, they barely talk to each other and live separately, although they have been extremely civil. If Elin does wish to move back to Sweden, however, that is sure to concern the world’s #1 golfer, who does not want his son and daughter so far away. The issue has not become a problem yet but is now looming over the divorce situation as she keeps building what looks like a new, independent life. Elin Woods and the children are currently on vacation in Sweden and she has begun extensive renovations on the home she recently purchased there. What should Elin Woods do?
