They have set a the goal of raising $1 million for the International Rescue Committee’s refugee relief program. With Game of Thrones Season 6 set to premiere on Sunday, April 24, this campaign will receive plenty of air time over the coming weeks. “It brings a fictional story of displacement and conflict to a real-life one and hopes viewers will be prompted to donate,” says Katherina Rosqueta, executive director of the Center for High Impact Philanthropy at the University of Pennsylvania. “And it’s bringing the cause to the audience, rather than the audience to the cause.” The PSAs, such the one posted below, will air exclusively online, where Game of Thrones, of course, has a loyal and devoted following. Ashley Graham Responds To Cheryl Tiegs’ Criticism Of Her Figure Ashley Graham has broken barriers by baring all her thickness on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue, but not everyone is happy with the shine plus-size bangers are getting these days. Former Sports Illustrated model Cheryl Tiegs recently made headlines calling Ashley Graham’s body “unhealthy” and not good for women to look up to…and Ashley has a thing or two to say about it. Via E!online : Cheryl Tiegs caused quite a stir when she criticized Sports Illustrated for choosing Graham for one of the three covers of its 2016 Swimsuit Issue, claiming the magazine was showcasing a body type that isn’t healthy, and, well, Ash had a few words to say about that. “Cheryl Tiegs may have said what she said and it may have hurt a lot of peoples feelings,” Graham began to tell E! News, “but my skin is so thick. I kind of rolled my eyes, I was like, ‘Oh whatever, another one of these ladies.’ But what’s great is that—the fact that she said it—it means that other women think like her. And what that means is that we really need to change the industry.” She adds, “There are too many people thinking they can look at a girl my size and say that we are unhealthy. You can’t, only my doctor can!” And while Cheryl took to her Twitter to give a very general, halfhearted, faux-apology — mainly to pull her mentions out of the shambles — Ashley feels like it all means nothing until her phone rings: “I’ve never personally heard from her. She said her comment about me, then never heard a follow up. People are saying she apologized. But I never heard one,” the 28-year-old said, but did mention what she would say to Tiegs if they ever crossed paths. “You never know, and I will go up to her and say hello, and all the SI girls, I’ve always looked up to them. News that she thinks Sports Illustrated made a mistake in covering its latest Swimsuit Issue with Graham, who wears a Size-16 . “I don’t think it’s healthy,” says Tiegs , a former SI Swimsuit Issue star, explaining why as follows: “Her face is beautiful, beautiful. But I don’t think it’s healthy in the long run.” Tiegs made her comments at the 13th Annual Global Green USA Pre-Oscar Party. And they got even more controversial. “I don’t like that we’re talking about full-figured women because it’s glamorizing them because your waist should be smaller than 35 [inches],” she actually said. “That’s what Dr. Oz said, and I’m sticking to it.” Oh, Dr. Oz said that? The discredited TV host who admitted in front of Congress that he’s misled viewers multiple times when it comes recommended weight loss products and other kinds of supplements? He’s definitely an authority one should listen to… NOT! Graham made history on February 13 when she was named the first Size-16 model to land the cover of Sports Illustrated, doing so along with UFC fighter Ronda Rousey and Hailey Clauson. “I thought Sports Illustrated was taking a risk by putting a girl my size in the pages,” Graham said at the time. “But putting me on the cover?
