‘Breaking Dawn’ Brazil Shoot Possibly Hampered By Local Violence

‘We are continuing to scout locations within the country,’ a Summit rep says. By Mawuse Ziegbe “Twilight” stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner Photo: John Gress/ Getty Images Plans to shoot scenes from the second half of “Breaking Dawn” — the final installment in the “Twilight” series — in Brazil may have hit a snag as a result of violence in the country. According to Agence France-Presse, Summit Entertainment, the production company behind the hit vampire series, planned to begin shooting in Rio de Janeiro within the next few weeks. However, due to a situation in which gang members held 35 guests hostage in the city’s Intercontinental Hotel, and a subsequent shoot-out that left one person dead, the future of the film’s production in Rio has reportedly been jeopardized. RioFilme, a Brazilian film investment agency, said that Summit was discussing the issue with government officials. In a statement to RadarOnline.com , Summit insisted that no decision about abandoning production in the South American nation has been made. “The possibility of filming portions of ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’ in Brazil has always been under consideration and we are continuing to scout locations within the country,” the company said. However, according to a RioFilme executive, if the smash film series touches down in the country, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart may not head to Brazil until the fall. “If part of the filming of ‘Dawn’ comes rolling in Rio, will be in November/December. OK?” CEO Sergio Sa Leitao said in a message re-tweeted by the agency’s Twitter account. “And nothing more can be said until we close.” Summit announced in June that “Breaking Dawn” would be divided into two parts. The first of the two films is scheduled to hit theaters on November 18, 2011. Montana Fishburne’s Mom on Sex Tape: It’s All Good!

Montana Fishburne may not have the approval of her famous father Laurence, but her mom is supposedly on board with the whole sex tape / porn career thing. Today marks the release of the Chippy D sex tape – we don’t know where her nickname stems from, nor do we want to – that the actor tried to buy all copies of. Laurence Fishburne is hurt and beyond pissed by his 19-year-old daughter’s career move, but her mother and his ex-wife was apparently more supportive of it. Relatively speaking, of course. Montana Fishburne, a.k.a. Chippy D, is an adult film star as of today. In the conversation, which she described as uneasy, but supportive, Montana tells TMZ her mom said, “She loves me and is concerned and worried about me.” But, Montana adds, “She just wants whatever is best for me.” Her mom is Hajna Moss-Fishburne, a former actress and current fitness trainer. No word on how she feels about the fact that Montana used to be a prostitute.

Taylor Swift Announces New Album Title, Release Date

Following an incredible 2009, Taylor Swift took some time off . But the singer is ready to take the music world by storm again, and has announced details for her upcoming album: It will be titled “Speak Now.” It will be released on October 25. Why that title? Swift answer the question in a live Web chat today, telling fans it “pertains to the album as a concept, and as an entire theme of the record, more than I can even tell you.” Taylor added that she’s been penning singles for the album since “Fearless” came out in 2008. She said. “Thankfully, in the past two years I’ve experienced a lot of things that I’ve been dying to write about. A lot of things that I’ve wanted to say in the moment that I didn’t… Track by track, each song is a different confession to a different person.” The first song off the CD will hit the radio in mid-August. Titled “Mine,” Swift says it’s about “my tendency to run from love. It’s a recent tendency. Every example of love in my life has ended in goodbye. The song is about finding the exception to that.” We’re just sad that exception didn’t include Taylor Lautner . ** In other upcoming album news, David Archuleta has already revealed the released date for his next CD.
