Yesterday, Rolling Stone released excerpts from an interview in which  Taylor Swift admitted her song “Bad Blood” was written about a musical rival. The Internet instantly set about speculating as to who Taylor could’ve been so upset with (aside from her many ex-boyfriends) that she devoted an entire track of her forthcoming album to talking trash. Taylor’s quotes were picked apart for clues, and her history was examined by fans hoping to piece together the identity of her professional rival. Turns out the answer may have been under our noses and on our Twitter feeds all the while: Just hours after Taylor’s quote went public, Katy Perry tweeted, “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing,” a reference to the villainous manipulator from the 2004 film Mean Girls . We’d say it might just be a coincidence, but there’s far more evidence that Katy is the latest celeb to be the subject of one of Taylor’s famous musical burns: In the interview, Taylor says the unidentified rival tried to “sabotage an entire arena tour” by essentially stealing Swift’s staff. Last year – right about the time Taylor says the incident took place – three of Swift’s backup dancers reportedly left to join Perry’s world tour. Taylor fired back by having Sara Bareilles join her on stage to sing “Brave.” It was a loaded cameo, as Katy has been accused of plagiarizing “Brave” with her song “Roar.” Then, of course, there’s the fact that both Taylor and Katy dated John Mayer . Taylor swears her feud has nothing to do with guys, but c’mon…with Taylor isn’t a guy always involved somehow? Hopefully, Katy will respond with a diss track of her own and we’ll have an old-fashioned beef on our hands. Seth Rogen vs. Nancy Grace Nancy Grace wondered aloud on Twitter whether pot was to blame for a guy killing his wife. Seth Rogen replied that the anchor is a “dumbass.”
