As we learned last week, Amber Portwood is pregnant with her second child. Fortunately, she's not expecting a child by Matt Baier, the notorious deadbeat whom she very nearly married earlier this year. Sadly, her new boyfriend, Andrew Glennon, has problems of his own. And by that we mean the guy is basically a walking red flag. We've told you about Glennon's sketchy past before, but the situation basically gets uglier with every new revelation. See what we mean in the gallery below: 1. Reality Producer Turned Reality Star Andrew is a producer on Marriage Boot Camp. He met Amber while she and Matt Baier were appearing on the show to work on their ailing relationship. 2. An Abuser of Power? Portwood and Glennon began their relationship immediately after Baier stormed off the MBC set. The timing has led many to question if Andrew abused his position of power and seduced Amber while she was still with Matt. 3. Matt Baier on Andrew Glennon: He’s Sketchy! One of the people who doubts Andrew’s sincerity and authenticity is Matt Baier. Obviously, Baier is a bit biased … but he’s also an expert on shady characters. 4. A Famous Family Unlike Baier, Glennon is gainfully employed. But he was also born with a consideradle leg up. He’s both the son AND grandson of famed Hollywood cinematographers. 5. In Other Words, He’s Loaded Which is probably part of the appeal for Amber. Unfortunately, those who know Andrew best have cautioned that Portwood is getting in way over her head… 6. Troubled Teen Mom OG cast member Ryan Edwards is getting married to Mackenzie Standifer this weekend, according to a new report. It can’t be any more awkward than last time. Back in May, as you clearly remember (how could you ever forget if you watch Teen Mom OG online ), Ryan and Mackenzie made it official. The only witnesses: Ryan’s parents, Jen and Larry Edwards, an MTV film crew and millions of viewers at home who saw some disturbing dashcam footage. As Ryan Edwards drove high to his own wedding , fans were up in arms over how Mackenzie – or the network – could ever permit that. Before Standifer pulled the plug on the dashcam, Ryan could be seen driving the car while so out of it he seemed barely awake at times. Not surprisingly, observers widely questioned the validity (or at least the sanity) of the bizarre parking lot wedding that followed soon after. Edwards, who shares son Bentley with Teen Mom OG star Maci Bookout, felt his efforts to win more custody would be aided by a marriage. The logic of that assertion is debatable. Even before his image was hurt by the MTV clip in question, the argument was flimsy, but it was allegedly why they rushed the nuptials. Then Mackenzie blamed Maci for almost killing Ryan (not literally, but indirectly through her actions) and the whole thing was just a mess. If Standifer and Edwards’ union got off to a rough start, it got worse, with Edwards busted sending d–k pics on Tinder to random girls. And yet, six months later, they have weathered the storm, and according to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, are ready to do it up right: They’re getting hitched on Saturday! Ryan and Mackenzie will be saying “I do” (again) in their hometown of Chattanooga, Tenn., with actual guests there to see it this time. Unlike their first ceremony, Ryan’s son Bentley and Mackenzie’s son Hudson, as well as a bridal party, will watch them exchange vows. Yes, MTV will film round two as well. “They will be filming at the wedding, and a crew has been there capturing the pre-wedding stuff too,” The Ashley’s source tells the site . “For awhile [production] wasn’t sure if Ryan and Mackenzie would allow the wedding to be filmed,” apparently, given their recent history. “They declined to come to Los Angeles to film the special with the rest of the cast in October, and some other things. But they are filming it.” It’s not clear if Maci Bookout will be attending, though there’s no doubt Maci’s reactions to the wedding will be a major topic this season. Mackenzie and Ryan, as we said, have been struggling in their marriage after Edwards was released from rehab and going on Tinder. While newlywed Ryan trying to bang other girls technically doesn’t concern her, it’s no shock that Maci feels he can’t be trusted as a result. That incident, of course, opened up a can of worms, with Bookout and Edwards feuding and Ryan and Mackenzie on the brink of divorce. At one point, Ryan even blocked Mackenzie’s number and told members of the crew and production team that he planned to file for divorce. Didn’t happen, though. To the surprise of many fans, Standifer stood by Edwards ‘ side, even in the wake of what had to be a most humiliating ordeal. While Standifer made a grand public display of loyalty to Edwards with the photo above, she was clearly reeling – and furious. She called out one of the recipients of Ryan’s naked photos, urging her to cease communication with her husband or else. “Please stop playing dumb. … I know everything,” Standifer told Ryan’s Tinder girl, further instructing her, “ I want you to stop .” When the Tinder match, whose photos have not been released, asked what she would like her to “stop,” Standifer threatened: “Guess we will have to do this the hard way.” View Slideshow: Teen Mom OG Season 7: Everything We Know (and Don’t Know) So Far It’s not clear what that means, or how Mackenzie dealt with her – or Ryan for that matter. But clearly things have progressed positively. Just a short time, later, the Teen Mom couple has evidently worked through their issues and the (second) wedding is just days away. I don’t do a ton of posts on Katharine McPhee anymore, mostly because I forgot she was still technically considered “famous.” But apparently I was wrong! Because here she is doing a photoshoot for Health Magazine ‘s December issue, and with a body like that, it’s pretty clear Katharine’s 15 minutes are still going strong. In fact, I’d say she’s got a good 30 seconds left. Maybe even 45 if I concentrate real hard.
Dan Kitwood/Getty Images Facebook Has An Interesting Strategy To Prevent Revenge Porn In an effort to combat the possibility of revenge porn, Facebook is asking its Australian users to upload pictures of themselves naked. Yep, you read that right. According to the Australian Broadcasting Corp. , Facebook is doing a partnership with the country’s e-Safety Commissioner in order to develop a pilot program that will both block and remove vindictive image-sharing on Facebook, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger. Those who are concerned that their personal nude photos will be leaked have been asked to send their risky pics to themselves via Messenger. Once the image is sent through the app, Facebook can digitally “hash” the image, creating a digital footprint. E-Safety Commissioner Julie Inman Grant explained: “They’re not storing the image, they’re storing the link and using artificial intelligence and other photo-matching technologies . So, if somebody tried to upload that same image, which would have the same digital footprint or hash value, it will be prevented from being uploaded.” According to Motherboard however, blurred out versions of the images will actually be temporarily stored by Facebook but it’s unclear for exactly how long. A reporter said, “The spokesperson said that while they are being stored, the naked photos will only be accessible to a small group of people. After Facebook discards the images, it will only retain the hashes. The spokesperson said that Facebook is not able to reconstruct images based on the hashes they keep.” So every time you send a sultry picture to somebody you might not fully trust–you probably shouldn’t do that anyway, but that’s a whole other story–just send the pictures to yourself on Facebook Messenger while you’re at it. Seems legit…
Mother Angry As School Pronounces Daughter’s Name As A Slur A Rochester, NY mother is livid after receiving multiple “robocalls” from her daughter’s high school that pronounce her name as a racial slur . Nicomi Stewart received the typical automated notification call that comes to parent phones when a child misses class after her daughter, Nicarri, stayed home from Edison Career and Technology High School one day last week. The issue…the robotic voice pronounced Nicarri’s name as “the n-word” instead. “This is Edison Career and Technology High School. Your daughter, N****r, has missed period one…” According to Huffpost , the call came more than once as Nicarri was reported absent for each school period, so Nicomi was able to record the message and bring it to the school board’s attention. Under typical circumstances, this could all be called a fluke…BUT Stewart reports that the robocall system had not issue correctly pronouncing Nicarri’s name last year. There should be no reason for it to suddenly call her a n****r now. SMH.
