Farrah Abraham: Here’s the Kind of Guy I’m Looking For!

Even though Farrah Abraham thinks that Teen Mom is “too fake” to win a Critic’s Choice Award , she definitely has a higher opinion of herself than she does of the franchise that made her famous. Farrah Abraham tells you exactly what she thinks of herself on her profile on this new app for “connecting” people. Honeslty, her self-description is wild . And Farrah also describes the sorts of people with whom she’s looking to “connect.” But she claims that she’s not trying to hook up or date. Sure . RadarOnline  interviewed Farrah and got a hold of her Bumble profile. “International celebrity, Teen Mom on MTV, business mogul, New York Times best selling author, Advocate for safe contraception, Owner/Founder Furnished By Farrah, Froco, Sophia Laurent.” These are so much to absorb, so let’s go through them item-by-item, okay?  “International celebrity.” Technically? Sure. You can be an international celeb without being A-List. Or B-List. Or C-List. “Teen Mom on MTV.” So she’s having fun bashing MTV at every opportunity , but she’s clearly not above dropping the name of the successful franchise that made her the woman she is today. “Business mogul.” A mogul is defined as  an important or powerful person , which is not how we would describe Farrah Abraham in our wildest dreams or most twisted nightmares. The rest of that? Fine, we’ll give it to her. But Farrah’s profile has more to say. This time, it’s about the sorts of “connections” that she’d like to make. “Love to connect with smart, intelligent, creative, and open-minded people.” Is she looking for open-minded people who won’t judge her for her sex work? Because that’s fine. Or is it Farrah Abraham’s racist insults that she’s hoping that people will accept? Farrah also explained to RadarOnline  what her totally-non-horny purpose was for joining Bumble. “I joined Bumble Business, but I see they have Bumble BFF and Bumble Dating.” We think that she’s referring to Bumble Bizz. We can’t bash the name, because a lot of people have done very serious networking on Twitter. An app’s name needs to be memorable, not serious. “I’ve only so far enjoyed the business events in Austin with other company owners and entrepreneur creative events.” Gee, you’d almost think that the whole interview might be some sort of elaborate product endorsement. (We’re kidding — that was clear from the start) “I have no time for dating right now.” Well, she’s still sort of a Teen Mom OG  star, she’s an actual mom, she’s starting a lingerie line, and she’s doing endorsement deals like this shameless Bumble plug and also named ambassador for sexual positivity . If Farrah’s really using the app, she should know that — though we can’t speak for Bundle’s clientele — a lot of the times, men who say that they’re fine just being friends are actually lying. It’s easy to see some dude seeing that she’s on, being curious about a (minor) celebrity, and stumbling across Farrah Abraham’s camgirling adventures . If he didn’t have ideas before, he might start to come up with a few. Not even Farrah deserves unwanted attention. Though, again, we don’t know that Farrah actually uses it. This sounded like a product endorsement, not a genuine confession. View Slideshow: Farrah Abraham: Was She Really Fired From Teen Mom OG? An Investigation

Daughter Asks Mom for Bread Recipe, Immediately Regrets It

Krista Ball just wanted to bake something delicious for her family this holiday season. The Newfoundland, Canada native sent what she believed was a simple text message request to her mother recently, asking how to make her mother's beloved bread for her own immediate family. What followed, however, was anything but simple. Try to follow along below, as Ball attempts to remain calm and collected in the face of her mother's less-than-detailed description… 1. Homemade Bread is Delicious We’ll start with that simple statement. It’s easy to buy at the store, but sometimes it can be worth putting in the time at home. 2. So That Brings Us to Krista She reached out and asked her mom for a bread recipe. And it started out easy enough. Six loaves is a lot, but sure, right? 3. You Need a Big Bag But not TOO big. And not too small, either, just so we’re clear. 4. Where is “That Place?” Alberta. Now that this is settled, let’s move on, shall we? 5. The Pan Must Be Big Let me make that as clear and as repetitive as I can. We’re talking a BIG pan here, Krista. 6. This Doesn’t Seem Very Technical But great cooks sort of improvise, right? We’re still following along… so far. View Slideshow

‘Empire’ Recap: Jamal Lyon Channels Old School Lucious And Beats The Breaks Off His Boyfriend

Continue reading here:

Source: FOX / Getty Empire is back, yay! The Lyons are working hard, trying to get Bella back. Lucious steps up and pays Anika a visit. Bella isn’t home, she’s with her parents in that moment. Anika isn’t really trying to let Lucious in, but you know he does what he wants so he enters anyway. Lucious says he remembers when she would do anything to make Bella the sole heir to the Lyon throne. There’s a tone there, but Anika plays coy and asks what he’s insinuating. What he’s insinuating is that Anika made Rhonda have a miscarriage. via GIPHY Problem is, they don’t technically have any proof, especially since Rhonda is dead. The latter was an accident, but also Anika’s fault. Lucious wants Anika to sign joint custody agreement. If she agrees, he’ll make Bella co-heir to Empire with his sons. Anika says she’ll agree to family visits. That seems to be enough for him to settle on for now, but earlier in the episode we learn that the Lyons filed an appeal in the ruling so this is going to get messy all over again. Warren tries to convince Jamal to have a threesome and Jamal declines at first, but eventually half-heartedly agrees. Warren recruits a tender young thang to make it happen, but Jamal changes his mind again. He says he doesn’t want to do it and that he’s only going along with it because he loves Warren. Warren, realizing he loves Jamal too, sends the guy home. And Andre’s girlfriend, Pamela the cop, is involved in some drama. She shot and killed someone on the job. The story made the news, but it took a minute for Dre to get in touch with her. When he finally got to see her, he reveals that thinking she was dead made him see that he loved her. She then reveals that she planted a gun on the person she shot. Basically, her shooting that person was excessive so she did what she needed to (aka lie) clear her name. via GIPHY She tells Dre that she hopes her confiding this info to him will help him begin to trust her. via GIPHY Riiiiight …this has Dubois Clan written all over it. Issa trap! Sadly, Dre is probably going to fall right into it. Finally, the episode ends with the Lyon Clan headed to one of the negotiated family visits with Bella. At the same time and place, we see Warren telling Diana that he fell in love with Jamal. She’s disappointed, but not surprised and unbothered because she says Anika is going to help her destroy the Lyon boys. And then, we see the Lyons walking up to the table because Diana set this all up. Imagine Jamal’s surprise when he sees Warren sitting with her. Diana wastes no time telling them that Warren is her nephew and that he was supposed to take pics of Jamal during the threesome.Warren is copping pleas, trying to convince Jamal that he was for real, and then Jamal blacks out and beats the breaks off Warren. Of course, people nearby pull out their cellphones to record. That wasn’t planned, but it’s good material for Diana to work with. We’ll be back next week as this continues dragging on. Emily Ratajkowski Is Nude Again

I guess  Emily Ratajkowski is still busy enjoying that beach vacation of hers, and thanks to these pictures, us perverts can too. I was going to say that, at this rate, I hope she never goes back to work, but I’m pretty sure this technically counts as work for a professional Instagram model like Emily. So nevermind. Enjoy!

Kylie Jenner: I’m Just Gonna Hide Until My Baby’s Born!

This might break Kris Jenner’s heart. You know how Kylie Jenner is pregnant , but refuses to confirm it — even when she’s been spotted out and about with a baby bump ? Well, now we know how long she intends to keep this to herself. In fact, we know when she’s planning to announce her baby news … and you won’t believe it. People reports that their source informs them that Kylie wants to keep things relatively private for the next long while. Specifically, their source says: “Kylie wants to disappear and be out of the spotlight and focus on her health and happiness.” Health and happiness are important, we’ll give her that. But how long is she going to keep teasing fans about her pregnancy ? “Kylie isn’t going to publicly address her pregnancy until she gives birth.” That is … technically her business but also laughably ridiculous. The entire world knows that she’s pregnant. “She’s not doing any public appearances and just wanted to take six months off” Taking time off is fine … though we wonder how it might impact her brand. Maybe she’s counting on her baby to balance things out? Most shocking of all was this tidbit: Apparently, Kylie’s baby shower “was organized just five days before it happened.” That is … almost incomprehensible. Maybe Kylie was unsure of whether or not to have one or maybe she was prompted to do it by Kim Kardashian’s baby shower or maybe she wanted to keep it quiet, but … wow. Personally, I try to plan going to dinner or a movie days in advance. If I were planning a baby shower, I’d start the day that the pregnancy was announced … if not sooner. We can understand a new mother’s desire to focus on her pregnancy and new baby, but … six months? Kylie Jenner hasn’t spent six months out of the spotlight since she was in elementary school. Now, everybody is totally entitled to a break. That includes reality stars. They work a lot to get footage for their show, and then there are promotional gigs and the constant social media presence. Anyone would want a vacation, right? Especially someone who’s pregnant. But … six months is a lot of time to all but disappear from the world, especially when the whole world is accustomed to seeing you give multiple updates on your life every day. And there’s no telling how this could impact Kylie’s wildly successful makeup business . So … this is a little confusing. But it makes sense when you think about what we’ve heard about  Kylie feeling insecure over her pregnant body . “Kylie is only trusting her closest friends and her sisters right now.” That’s usually a good policy to keep. “She wants to reveal things on her own terms but she’s, of course, having fun teasing everyone.” From selfies that only capture her face to photos featuring massively oversized shirts to remaining a shut-in most of the time, Kylie’s definitely doing a lot of teasing. “She knows all the attention is on her and her baby bump, but she won’t share until she wants to.” That’s her right, even if some of her fans feel that she’s mocking them for being interested in the life that she’s openly shared with them until very recently.

Jordan Peele’s Thoughts On Harvey Weinstein: “First Of All, F*ck Him”

Original post:

Source: Paras Griffin / Getty It’s no secret that a lot of people in the industry were already not too fond of Harvey Weinstein before, knowing whisperings of all of the allegations that have been coming to light for weeks now.  It’s also no secret that Weinstein is far from the only powerful industry head being accused of committing sexual assault, with powerful men from virtually every industry being thrown accusations from former co-workers left and right. The Hollywood Reporter ‘s latest Writer’s Roundtable featured Get Out ‘s Jordan Peele along with other huge creative individuals like  Darren Aronofsky , Aaron Sorkin , and Fatih Akin . One topic of discussion amongst the table of creatives was how power is “abused” by producers and within the system. Once it was Peele’s turn to speak on the matter, he definitely didn’t hold back, and spoke candidly on how he felt about the Hollywood figure: “To the Harvey [matter], first of all, f**k him. He’s an a**hole. But that goes to this greater question of this systemic problem, as well. The industry is just part of the system, and its shortcomings [are those of] the larger system. There is this systemic issue that holds many of us back and many of us behind. I’ve never met Harvey Weinstein. But I know that there are many other people who are similar out there.” THR  noted that this Roundtable was held back on October 10, so though the initial Weinstein scandal was already being publicized, Jordan technically could have just been speaking on the corrupt system of Hollywood in general.

Justice League Reviews Are In. And They’re Hilariously Harsh.

Justice League is a failure on pretty much every level. That basically sums the take of movie critics around the country. In short, the film is terrible. This probably doesn't come as a major shock to anyone who has seen the  Justice League trailer or followed the behind-the-scenes problems that have plagued production. But you should still scroll down to see just how negative the reviews actually are… 1. The Ringer: Justice League is another attempt to course-correct what some believe were [Zach] Snyder’s botched early entries in the DC universe… The movie wants to be grand, it wants to be fun, but in the end, it’s just another loud, lifeless, high-tech bore 2. Us Weekly: If a D.C. universe movie is truly going to triumph, it needs to add something fresh to the genre. The sight of well-muscled, costumed superheroes standing in a line ready to take charge doesn’t have the same oomph as it did five years ago. Bring on the excitement and the death-defying thrills and kooky humor for the sequel. After all, nothing is more frustrating than a big-budget extravaganza that just flies by night. 3. New York Times: The movie shows a series that’s still finding its footing as well as characters who, though perhaps not yet as ostensibly multidimensional as Marvel’s, may be more enduring (and golden). It has justice, and it has banter. And while it could have used more hanging out, more breeziness, it is a start. 4. Vanity Fair: I could be projecting, but boy does poor Gal Gadot look so sad in Justice League, watching this lumbering and witless movie lay waste to the nice thing she just got finished making. It really is a shame. What a dumb irony, to end this movie, of all movies, on a note of bitter injustice like that. 5. The Verge: On a moment-to-moment basis, though, Justice League often feels fractured. Whedon’s reshoots are sometimes painfully obvious, as when Flash and Cyborg share a brief personal moment in a graveyard that looks as cheap as a first-season Buffy the Vampire Slayer set. While those scenes can seem roughly interpolated and out-of-place, though, they often offer the film’s most meaningful character moments and flashes of humor and humanity. A quick gag involving Aquaman reveals more about him than the entire rest of the film’s two-hour runtime. 6. Chicago Tribune: The dialogue is painful. [Ezra] Miller’s neurotic routine is initially quite charming, until his one-liners become incredibly cheesy and tired. Aquaman peppers his speech with many dude-brah phrases, while Cyborg, regrettably, utters “boo-yah” at one point. View Slideshow
