Lamar Odom: Brothel Where NBA Star OD’d Experiences Surge in Business

If you needed further proof that’s a pretty effed-world we live in, look no further: According to TMZ the Love Ranch brothel where Lamar Odom nearly died from an overdose last week is experiencing a major surge in business thanks to all the free press. The weirdest part? Customers are shelling out big bucks to see the room where Odom was found unconscious and covered in blood. Guests who already staying and spending money at the Ranch can drop an extra $500 for a glance at the VIP suite where Odom nearly lost his life. Even weirder, many Love Ranch are paying top dollar to sleep in the room and there’s a one-month waiting to list to stay in “the Lamar suite. Prior to Odom’s near death experience, the Ranch attracted about 20 men today. Owner Dennis Hof says that in the past week that number has more than tripled. Many have been critical about the way Hof seems to milking the incident for free publicity. Hof bragged about telling the Kardashians to “go to hell” during an appearance on Nancy Grace’s talk show. In response, reps for Khloe politely asked Hof to shut the hell up , but it looks like the brothel owner and former star of the HBO reality series Cat House, plans to go right on cashing in on this tragedy. Khloe Kardashian Releases First Statement Since Lamar Odom Hospitalization

Over the past several days, we’ve heard from nearly every member of the Kardashian-Jenner family in regard to the tragic Lamar Odom situation. Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian have all issued statements on social media in support of their troubled loved one. Khloe, who is technically still married to Lamar, flew immediately to her estranged husband’s hospital bedside in Las Vegas as soon as she learned he had fallen into a coma. She remained there all of last week and is expected to continue to support Odom now that he’s been transported to Los Angeles . “The past week has been incredibly difficult,” Khloe wrote this morning on her official website. “I am so thankful to family, friends, and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar. I also want to take a moment to thank everyone at Sunrise Hospital, including the amazing doctors and nurses for their kindness and diligent work. “Under their amazing care, incredible strides have been made.” Just a few days ago, Odom’s odds of survival were placed at a mere 50%. He may still need a kidney transplant and there’s a long road to recovery ahead. But at least there are reasons to be cautiously optimistic. “You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure,” Khloe added, concluding: “Thank you for your continued support. God is great!!!” These words mark the first time the 31-year old reality star has spoken in public since Odom was found unconscious on October 13 inside a VIP suite at the Love Ranch South brothel in Pahrump, Nevada. Britney Spears had her dancers zip her up on stage in Vegas, which was interesting to see how they dealt with her hot little crisis as her puppet master father was backstage counting all the money his sperm has made him in the form of Britney Spears who he still contols…in all his hick glory…which is pretty amazing considering I’ve seen him in interviews and I don’t think dude knows how to read…yet he knows how to K-Fed and that’s milk that bitch, even if it humiliates her in the process because she won’t notice…she’s too fucking medicated… A nice American family classic…one that could be leveraged and turned into holiday movies…if holiday movies had a bit more exploiting your kids into their 40s to pay for the fucking Thanksgiving Turkey… I kind of wish her cry for help was more her pissing on stage in a squat as onlookers threw up in shock…but there is something awesome about the dancers helping her…that reminds me of trained technicians dealing with a robot malfunctioning before it blows up and kills everyone…. Lady Gaga Hates the Internet, Admits to Battle with Depression

Lady Gaga recently came out with a music video that served as a public service announcement regarding the issue of campus rape. And now the superstar has come out with an announcement of her own that she also hopes will shed light on a pressing topic. “I’ve suffered through depression and anxiety my entire life, I still suffer with it every single day,” she tells Billboard. “I just want these kids to know that that depth that they feel as human beings is normal. We were born that way. This modern thing, where everyone is feeling shallow and less connected? That‘s not human.” In 2012, Lady Gaga launched a nonprofit for struggling teens called the Born This Way Foundation. She partly blames technology for … well… a lot. “There is something in the way that we are now, with our cell phones and people are not looking at each other and not being in the moment with each other, that kids feel isolated,” the 29-year-old says. “They read all of this extremely hateful language on the Internet. The Internet is a toilet. It is. It used to be a fantastic resource – but you have to sort through sh-t to find the good stuff.” Way back in 2014, Lady Gaga also opened up to Harper’s Bazaar about her personal issues. “I became very depressed at the end of 2013. I was exhausted fighting people off,” she said back then. “I couldn’t even feel my own heartbeat. I was angry, cynical, and had this deep sadness like an anchor dragging everywhere I go. “I just didn’t feel like fighting anymore.” We’re glad she’s fighting now, though, both for herself and for others.

Arrow Season 4 Episode 2 Recap: Anarky in the USA

Thea discovered the truth about her anger issues on Arrow Season 4 Episode 2 . Elsewhere, CEO Felicity made a discovery of her own, learning about the the cost of doing business; while Damien Darhk’s most recent handiwork led to a political development. Watch Arrow Season 4 Episode 2 Online We’ll start with Felicity, who we may not hire to ever run our business. She now heads up Palmer Tech and she avoided some actual payroll problems this week by employing a bit of fantasy. She and Oliver now have money, as the latter put it, yet they used a lot of it to buy a fingerprinted truck instead of covering a decent amount of a staffer’s salary. The storyline just didn’t really work. View Slideshow: 18 Sexy Small Screen Superheroes Elsewhere, Oliver was tasked with keeping Jeri Ryan’s Jessica Danforth safe. She was a family friend running for Mayor in place of Moira. Enter Anarky, Darhk’s private contractor who initially tried to kidnap Jessica and then eventually abducted her daughter. Because he’s all about “order, discipline and precision,” Darhk actually gave Lance the girl’s location and Lance, in turn, told Oliver to go ahead and prove how things are different this time around. So Team Arrow went out and rescued the girl. But the major fallout here was that Thea (aka Speedy) practically roasted Anarky to death as a finishing move. Before this scary moment, Oliver told his sister about the Lazarus Pit and how it was used to bring her back to life and how he had been warned that its side effects could leave her very different from before. At the end of the hour, Laurel suggested that she and Thea enjoy with a spa getaway; but, in reality, she’s taking her friend to Nanda Parbat for two reasons: To gather the information that might help Thea deal with these issues. To see what the Pit might do for Sara, who’s not looking so hot after a year in the grave. As we look forward to Arrow Season 4 Episode 3 , these developments also went down this week: Diggle told Laurel about how Darhk’s “ghosts” work for H.I.V.E., the same organization that killed his brother. Laurel responded by warning him against internalizing the guilt over a sibling’s death. In flashbacks, Oliver afield to pass himself off as a castaway to Baron Reiter, who put him to work. During his first shift, Oliver met a young woman who complained about the conditions. Oliver hinted that he may run for Mayor! Need to catch up on this installment?
