Building 7 Implosion: The Smoking Gun of 9/11

Shortly after the explosive destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers, a third high-rise building was destroyed. It wasn’t hit by an airplane. The characteristic signs of controlled demolition were everywhere. Although it received little media attention at the time, the third-worst structural building failure in modern history occurred on September 11, 2001. World Trade Center (WTC) Building 7 was a 47-story, steel-framed, fire-protected, high-rise office building located about a football field’s length from the WTC North Tower. Unlike its two taller cousins, WTC 7 was never hit by an aircraft, yet it fell to the ground suddenly, displaying the classic signatures of explosive controlled demolition. A careful examination of this evidence shows why more than 1,200 architects and engineers are demanding a new and open investigation into all the crimes of 9/11, starting with this aspect, which is most obviously inconsistent with the official account. The evidence discussed in this article was ignored, mishandled, and/or covered up by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the federal agency last tasked with explaining the unprecedented destruction of the World Trade Center high-rises. The collapse of WTC Building 7 represents one of the worst structural failures in modern history. The official story suggests that fires weakened the structures, resulting in a gravitational collapse. The evidence, obvious to so many researchers but omitted from NIST’s Final Report, supports a very different conclusion – one that points squarely to explosive controlled demolition. If WTC 7 was intentionally brought down, then clearly it becomes a ‘smoking gun” that must be investigated. Who were the terrorists that had access to this highly secure building, occupied in part by the CIA, FBI, Dept of Defense, IRS, SEC, and others, and the technology required to prepare it for demolition? The 1,200 Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth present the scientific forensic data, evidence, and eyewitness and video testimony. We do not speculate as to who might have been responsible or how they have, so far, gotten away with the crime of the century. The destruction of the Twin Towers must be re-evaluated as well in light of the WTC 7 revelation. We therefore call for an unimpeachable investigation with subpoena power into the destruction of all three WTC skyscrapers. We ask you to do your part as a citizen to join us in making it happen. Cdn and American astronauts want world to start getting ready for asteroids

MONTREAL – Canadian and American astronauts say the world should already be preparing for the big one — the asteroid that could some day strike the Earth causing death and destruction. “You're just sticking your head in the sand if you think the world will live out its entire natural life until the end of our sun and never be hit by another big rock,” Canada's Chris Hadfield said in an interview. “That's just foolishness. That's just ignorance.” The Canadian Space Agency astronaut is the current president of the Association of Space Explorers (ASE), which submitted a report to the United Nations outlining a detailed plan to deal with any asteroid threat. “We're rolling the dice that the big one is not coming right away,” Hadfield warned. Hadfield, 51, will get a chance to observe asteroids first-hand during his upcoming six-month mission to the International Space Station. He is due to blast off on his third space trip in late 2012 and will also take charge of the lab for several months, becoming its first Canadian commander. During his first space flight — a visit to the Russian space station Mir in 1995 — Hadfield watched a big rock come bearing down on Earth. It eventually burned up in the atmosphere, but the 18-year space veteran admits the experience sent a shiver up his spine. “If it had been a little higher, it would have come right through us (the space station),” Hadfield said. Former U.S. astronaut Russell (Rusty) Schweickart chaired the ASE international group which issued its 54-page report on the asteroid threat in 2008. The report focuses on detection and deflection and calls for a unified global response. Schweickart told The Canadian Press new telescopes will dramatically increase the rate at which asteroids are discovered within the next 10 to 15 years. “You're going to multiply the 7,000 objects that we have in our catalogue now up to one million objects as we get new telescopes operating,” he said in an interview from Sonoma, Calif. The Space Explorers Association has been working closely with the United Nations and the world body is now holding a series of workshops on ways to prepare for threats from so-called Near Earth Objects (NEOs). The work will culminate in a recommendation to the United Nations General Assembly next year or in 2012. “There is no one in the United States or anywhere in the world who has the specific responsibility of acting and developing the technology . . to deflect an asteroid when we find one that does threaten us,” Schweickart added. The retired Apollo astronaut stresses that any effort to deflect a potentially dangerous asteroid would have to begin 10 to 18 years before the impact is predicted. But he adds the basic technology to deflect a threatening asteroid currently exists. One method involves smashing a spacecraft into the object to change its velocity enough to miss Earth. Schweickart's comments come as Canada gets ready to assume a key role in the search for any menacing NEOs. In March 2011, the Canadian Space Agency hopes to launch NEOSSat, which will be the first space telescope “totally dedicated to keep an eye out for the rest of the world.” NEOSSat (Near Earth Object Surveillance Satellite) will scan areas near the sun to pinpoint asteroids which have not yet been detected. The $15 million suitcase-sized-satellite, which will circle about 700 kilometres above the Earth, will look for potentially hazardous asteroids. “What we're looking for is advance warning,” senior project manager Bill Harvey said. “Of course those (asteroids) are the larger ones. . .anything over 50 metres that has a potential for an impact.” A 45-metre-wide space boulder exploded over a wooded area in Siberia in 1908 in what became known as the Tunguska event. About 2,000 square kilometres of trees were flattened in an uninhabited area. The Manicouagan crater in Quebec, which is 65 kilometres in diameter, was caused by an asteroid that slammed into the Earth some 200 million years ago. Harvey says he expects NEOSSat to detect several hundred new asteroids during its first year of operation and “probably up to a thousand.” NEOSSat will conduct scientific studies of asteroids and also monitor the beehive of satellites currently orbiting the Earth to make sure they don't slam into each other. Harvey says astronomers are currently keeping an eye on an asteroid named Apophis after observations in 2004 indicated there was a 2.7 per cent chance it would strike Earth in 2029. Additional observations eliminated the possibility of an impact that year, but Harvey remains cautious because another close encounter with Apophis is expected in 2036. “(If) its orbit gets altered by some event— and that event could be coming in proximity with another body like Venus or Mars — that could change the trajectory,” he said. Schweickart points out that nearly 300 asteroids have some possibility of impacting the Earth in the next 100 years. Scientists recently warned that “1999-RQ36,” an asteroid that is more than 500 metres wide, has a one-in-1,000 chance of striking the planet in 2182. Meantime, U.S. President Barack Obama has asked NASA to develop plans to visit an asteroid and the space agency is already looking at a potential human mission to visit one known as “1999-AO10” by 2025. It's estimated such a mission would take about six months with the astronauts spending about two weeks “riding the asteroid” as it blazes past the Earth. Earlier this year, the Obama administration decided on a flexible path for space exploration which favoured a visit to an asteroid instead of a return to the moon. http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/canada/breakingnews/cdn-and-american-astronauts… added by: magyver68

New Evidence Of Controlled Demolition On 9/11

(There are several videos click the link above to see them all) The International Center for 9/11 Studies has secured the release of hundreds of hours of video footage and tens of thousands of photographs used by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) for its investigation of the collapse of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7. This material is being released to the Center under the Freedom of Information Act, in response to a lawsuit the Center filed against NIST. The Center filed a FOIA Request with NIST on January 26, 2009, seeking production of “all of the photographs and videos collected, reviewed, cited or in any other way used by NIST during its investigation of the World Trade Center building collapses.” Following several unsuccessful attempts to get NIST to even acknowledge receipt of the Request, the Center was forced to file a lawsuit on May 28, 2009. Shortly after the lawsuit was filed, the Request was assigned a reference number, and NIST began periodically releasing batches of responsive records. To date, the Center has received over 300 DVDs and several external hard disk drives that contain responsive records – more than 3 terabytes of data so far – and NIST has indicated that additional records will be released in the future. We are currently looking at the best ways to distribute these materials to interested researchers and journalists around the world. It has taken NIST more than 8 months so far to produce a partial archive of photographs and videos in their possession, but we hope to be more efficient in our efforts. Because of the huge volume of data, we are working on a wiki-style website to facilitate review and discussion of any interesting items that are discovered by researchers. Justin Keogh, our Chief Technical Officer, is preparing the website and materials for release. The first batch of materials we are releasing is a group of video clips sent to us on an external hard disk drive labeled “NIST WTC Investigation Cumulus Video Clips.” We believe NIST entered these clips into a searchable database called the Cumulus database, and used them as the basis for the investigation and reports. Researchers may be interested to see which video clips NIST determined were important to its investigation, and compare these clips to the raw footage we release at a later date. Justin will be posting more details about the data release in the next week or two. Any questions about the FOIA Request, lawsuit, or data release should be submitted via the Contact Us page at the Center’s website: http://www.ic911studies.org/Contact_Us.html Although the Center has extremely limited resources with which it can review this mountain of data, several interesting items have already been discovered. Below are five items the Center has uncovered so far. The items below have not been altered from the original provided by NIST, except in three cases where a short section of footage was extracted from a much longer video. Otherwise, no alterations have been made to the video or audio. For the best viewing experience, you should watch all of the videos below in the highest resolution available. We will supplement the list below in the coming days and weeks. 1. Video Footage of Explosion Before Collapse In the video below, at about the 0:59 mark, a high-pressure explosion occurs in one of the Twin Towers, below the impact zone, while the building is still standing. In the final report on the collapse of the Twin Towers issued by NIST, it appears to attempt an explanation for this explosion by suggesting it is a smoke puff resulting from a pressure pulse inside the building, perhaps from a collapsing wall or ceiling, or sudden opening of a door. (See NCSTAR1-5A, p. 52) However, as can be seen from the screen capture below, it isn’t merely smoke and dust being ejected. There appears to be a massive object being ejected along with the explosion. 2. Audio Evidence of Explosions During Collapse Several videos released to the Center have clear audio tracks that contain distinct sounds of explosions occurring at the World Trade Center. These audio tracks provide support to the many eyewitness statements referring to explosions occurring when the buildings collapsed. Explosions can be heard at the initiation of the South Tower collapse in the following two videos. The explosions are clear enough at normal volumes, but turning your speaker volume up a bit can help provide a full appreciation of the sound. added by: im1mjrpain

Canada’s Cannabis Car

Enter the Kestrel. Designed and engineered by Motive Industries, a Canadian firm based in Alberta, the fully electric car features a body shell made of hemp–which may be better known as Cannabis Sativa L. The hemp for the Kestrel's body is grown by Alberta Innovates Technology Futures (AITF) under license from the Canadian government. Unlike the cannabis Californians may find available at their local medical marijuana dispensaries, hemp grown by AITF ends up on a production line, where it is turned into a composite material that has the impact resistance of fiberglass. But unlike fiberglass, the hemp bio-composite is cheaper to produce and has fewer health risks connected with its manufacture. It is also significantly lighter than glass-based composites traditionally used in racing cars. http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2010/08/24/canadian-cannabis-car/ added by: JackHerer

Can fuel cells power the future?

An electricity-generating fuel-cell system known as the Bloom Box sparked a huge buzz in the energy debate six months ago — and since then, still more ventures have surfaced to promise better living through chemistry. Will future fuel cells make good on those promises? We should know in the next couple of years. One of the concepts, detailed on Monday at an American Chemical Society meeting in Boston, combines the environmental friendliness of solar power with the 24/7 capability of fuel-cell generation. When the sun shines, electricity from solar panels would feed into a personal power grid, and also split water into hydrogen and oxygen. When the sun isn't out, the hydrogen and oxygen can be recombined to keep the electricity flowing, producing pure water in the process. “Our goal is to make each home its own power system,” Daniel Nocera, a chemist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, explained in a news release discussing the system. “We're working toward development of 'personalized' energy units that can be manufactured, distributed and installed inexpensively. There certainly are major obstacles to be overcome — existing fuel cells and solar cells must be improved, for instance. Nevertheless, one can envision villages in India and Africa not long from now purchasing an affordable basic system.” http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/38817952/ns/technology_and_science-future_of_energy/ added by: unimatrix0

‘American Idol’: We Have Never Used AutoTune

Controversy over use of pitch-correction software on ‘X Factor’ causes show to release statement. By Gil Kaufman David Archuleta Photo: Fox In the wake of the scandal over the use of the pitch-correcting software AutoTune on the season premiere of the British singing reality show “X-Factor,” the producers of “American Idol” released a statement denying that they had altered contestants’ vocals during the competition. “We have never, nor would we ever, use Auto-Tuning during the ‘American Idol’ competition,” unnamed producers of the show said in a statement released Thursday, according to the Associated Press . No allegations had been made that “Idol” had employed the technology, but the blowback from the “X-Factor” scandal was so bad that it seems “Idol” brass felt they needed to nip any suggestions in the bud. As the AP noted, singers on “Idol” are often criticized for sounding “pitchy”; during the show’s most recent season, mop-haired finalist Tim Urban was often so clearly out of tune that his run on the show surprised many longtime watchers. There have been other mini-scandals on “Idol,” such as the admission last year that the group sing-alongs that begin the results shows are lip-synched . But no one has suggested that performances that count toward the competition are tweaked. In response to the controversy, judge and producer Simon Cowell said, “people have got to be able to trust ‘The X Factor’ … we are not faking anything,” and promised that AutoTune will not be used again on the show. The Daily Mail reported that Cowell spent the week speaking to producers of the show — which he will bring to the U.S. in 2011 — and that an episode originally intended to air on September 4 will be shown this Saturday in an effort to move beyond the doctored-vocals scandal. Producers of the show claimed that AutoTune was only used to clean up sound from the audition footage, which is shot in a studio where there are more than 40 microphones in the room. But even a cursory listen to the tweaked bits from last week makes clear that the software beloved by musicians from T-Pain to Sean Kingston was used to clean up shaky vocals from a number of contestants. “X Factor” sources have admitted that AutoTune has been employed in the past as well, but denied that it had been used to make some singers sound better and others worse for entertainment purposes. Though “Idol” producers made the pre-emptivestrike against AutoTune , they still did not pull back the curtain on the most pressing “Idol” issue: who are the show’s new judges? With the fresh faces expected to take their seats after Labor Day, “Idol” watchers are eager to get confirmation on reports that Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler and singer/actress Jennifer Lopez have joined the panel. Do you believe that “American Idol” has never used AutoTune? Let us know in comments below. Related Artists David Archuleta
