For the second season in a row, The Good Wife is set to lose another main cast member. Last year, it was Josh Charles, who chose to leave the hit CBS series and who was written out when his character of Will Gardner was gunned down in a courtroom. Now, it’s Archie Panjabi. The Emmy winner, whose contract runs out at the end of The Good Wife Season 6 , will depart the drama in May in order anchor a pilot for 20th Century Fox Television that will film some time in the spring. The Good Wife showrunners Robert and Michelle King confirmed Panjabi’s departure in a joint statement. It reads: “Archie is an amazing actress who helped build Kalinda from the ground up as an enigmatic, powerful and sexy character. It’s been a pleasure to write for her, and we’ll be sad to see her go; but we still have her for the rest of season six, so let’s not exhaust our goodbyes yet. We look forward to meeting all the wonderful new characters Archie brings to the screen. “But either way, we’re keeping the boots.” Panjabi has starred as investigator Kalinda Sharma since The Good Wife pilot. Her role, however, has diminished over the course of the series, especially once her friendship with Alicia was permanently altered by the bombshell that Kalinda slept with Peter many years ago. In fact, Panjabi has not shared a scene with Julianna Margulies since Season 4. Still, she’ll be missed. Will you be helping Ericka find a man? The Singles Project’s Ericka Pittman On Dating Bravo is premiering the first ever real-time dating docu-series, The Singles Project, tomorrow night at 10PM. The Singles Project follows 6 Manhattan singles as they date around in NYC, however the show takes a new approach, allowing viewers to chime in and help the singles pick dates, drop pickup lines, and make suggestions as to how to flirt, what to say, etc. We caught up with Ericka Pittman — one of Diddy’s right hand women — and chatted with her about the highs and lows of dating in the city. Judging by the clip below, Ericka obviously needs a little help from viewers in the flirting department: As an attractive, educated, professional woman (Ericka is the Vice President of Business Development at Combs Wine and Spirits) you would think she’d have little trouble snagging a man. However as the self-proclaimed “Brooklyn Barbie” tells it, dating in New York is a crazy process and she’s willing to take all the helps she can get — even from strangers. BOSSIP: Why would you sign up to let strangers match you with dates? Why not? I’m just at a place in my life where I’m taking amazing calculated risks and doing outrageous things to have outrageous results, and I’m encouraging young women to do the same. If I’m preaching the gospel, I’ve got to live it! It’s an opportunity, it’s a fun summer. Why not? BOSSIP: Is finding a suitable man really that hard? I think dating is tough, and as you grow and mature, your selection process gets a little bit more filtered, and that makes it difficult to find someone that you’re compatible with. So that paired with how busy New York is — everyone with their own goals and agendas — I think it can be a challenge, and you need some assistance. A lot of us seek our friends, some people seek online dating, and The Singles Project is a revolutionary way to date in New York. BOSSIP: What kind of man are you into? I like man with a really strong moral compass. I want someone that is family oriented, that is ready to settle down. And then there’s the superficial stuff — he should just be tall, dark, and handsome. But I really do love someone with a lot of wit and a really handsome smile, and someone that can make me laugh. BOSSIP: Reality TV can get a little crazy…where do you think you fit into all this? I am actually forwarding a movement called “LifE: With a Capital E.” It’s an initiative to help young women identify the next phases in life and I want to show America that women — particularly women of color — should be displayed in a way that’s presentable. Forbes released its annual list of the highest paid actors in Hollywood last month, and we’re still stunned by just how much cash the film industry’s top earners pulled in. Today, the esteemed finance magazine unveiled a list of the movie world’s most well-off women. As usual, the highest-paid ladies didn’t earn quite as much as their male counterparts (in some ways, Hollywood is just like the rest of the world), but they pulled in some pretty impressive pay days, nonetheless. Highest Paid Actresses of 2014 10. Kristen Stewart Like her relationship with Robert Pattinson, the Twilight franchise is a distant memory for Kristen. Even so, residuals from the blockbuster films make up a big chunk of the $12 million KStew’s earned in the past year. Sandra Bullock tops the list this year with an astonishing $51 million in earnings. Not only did Bullock take the top spot by a wide margin, she trounced last year’s highest paid actress , Angelina Jolie, who took home a paltry $33 million in 2013. Industry analysts say Bullock’s big time bucks came primarily from the critically-acclaimed Gravity . Veteran stars like Sandra are usually able to negotiate deals in which they a small chunk of a blockbuster’s profits. Forget canoodling at Comic-Con . Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed are taking their blossoming romantic relationship to a whole ‘nother level. They’re adopting a HORSE together! On Tuesday, The Vampire Diaries actor shared a photo on Instagram of himself with the animal, giving a shout-out to his Twilight star girlfriend. Ian captioned the above photograph: “Proud new dad… What amazing creatures they are. Wow. His name is Eagle. Thank you @iamnikkireed for snapping this special moment, with our big baby boy.” Their big baby boy? It’s not clear in what capacity they have taken the creature under their collective wing, but the two stars are clearly an item and not shying away from that fact.
