The Bachelor Recap: The Final Two Are …

After emotional hometown dates , The Bachelor jetted off to Switzerland for the penultimate episode of the season (the Women Tell All special is next week). Nicki Sterling, Lindzi Cox and Courtney Robertson vied for the final two roses doled out by Ben Flajnik … as did another familiar face in a non-shocking return. Could Kacie Boguskie cajole her way back into the mix? Clearly contrived time-filling plot twists aside, Courtney preemptively shifted into damage control mode and Lindzi made her case as the season’s dark horse. Yes, we went with a horse joke there. Again. Too easy. Who made the final two heading into the March 12 finale? Were The Bachelor spoilers right, or did Ben pull a surprise? Here’s THG’s +/-

The CW Casts Carrie Bradshaw!

The CW has tracked down its Carrie Bradshaw. Relatively unknown actress AnnaSophia Robb ( Soul Surfer , Charlie and the Chocolate Factor ) has landed this highly sought after role. She’ll portray a teenage version of the character Sarah Jessica Parker made famous on The Carrie Diaries , an upcoming pilot based on Candance Bushnell’s prequel of a novel. The series will follow around Carrie during her high school days in New York City and be set in the 1980s. It had originally been pitched as a movie – with Blake Lively, Selena Gomez and Elizabeth Olsen in key roles – but The CW swept in a few weeks ago and purchased the television script rights. What do you think of Robb as Carrie Bradshaw?

Show Us What You Workin’ With: Did Jennifer Lopez Suffer A “Wardrobe Malfunction” On Live TV During The Oscars???

J.Lo’s supple sweater puppets tried to make a special appearance… Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz took the stage Sunday night to present the award for Best Costume Design and Best Make Up. The two Latinas (or semi-Latina in Diaz case) began with their backs turned to the crowd and upon turning around, it almost appears that J.Lo’s plunging neckline dress shifted just enough for a sneak peak. The Side-Eye: “Nasty” Newt Gingrich Says That President Obama Is In Favor Of Infanticide!

Come on now, really??? SMDH The Republican presidential candidates Wednesday night, during a GOP debate in Arizona, took shots at President Barack Obama for his pro-choice history. Newt Gingrich deflected a question about Obama’s recent decision mandating that employers’ insurance plans cover contraception by pointing out that Obama voted in favor of a law that protected abortion providers during his term as state senator of Illinois “You did not once during the 2008 campaign ask why Barack Obama voted in favor of legalizing infanticide,” Gingrich said. “If we’re going to debate about who is the extremist on this issues, it is President Obama, who, as a state senator, voted to protect doctors who killed babies. Mitt Romney lambasted Obama’s new requirement that insurers of faith-based organizations who object to birth control must offer the coverage to those groups’ employees for free. “I don’t think we’ve seen in the history of this country the kind of attack on religious freedom we’ve seen in Barack Obama most recently requiring the Catholic Church to provide for its employees and its various enterprises health care insurance that would include birth control, sterilization and the morning after pill,” he said. “He tried to retreat from that, but he retreated in a way that was not appropriate, because these insurance companies have to provide these same things, and now the Catholic Church will have to pay for them.” In fact, the Catholic Church is exempt from Obama’s contraception mandate. Kick rocks in flip-flops douchebag! Source Flip the page to peep the video of “Nasty” Newt’s ridiculous rant.
