Melissa Gorga Reacts to Teresa Giudice Prison Sentence: Pray For Her…

Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice have not always gotten along so well. But nothing brings a family together like a long prison sentence. Late last week, Giudice was sentenced to 15 months in jail for financial fraud, while her husband Joe Giudice received 41 months in the slammer. And last night, Gorga took to her Bravo blog to express sympathy for her sister-in-law/ Real Housewives of New Jersey rival. “Obviously this has been a very tough week. We are heartbroken for our family and especially those four sweet girls,” Gorga wrote of the Giudices’ four daughters. “Pray for them. No matter how you feel, I hope everyone is wishing their family strength and faith.” Teresa, who claims she did not understand that a plea bargain could land her in jail, tells the new issue of Us Weekly that she hopes to use her punishment as a “life lesson.” She plans to “teach” her children and the consequences of their actions through the illegal dealings of her and her husband. Speaking of those children, Teresa also says 13-year old daughter Gia Giudice is aware of what’s going on, but the three youngest (Gabriella, 10, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 5.) “don’t know anything.” Teresa Giudice begins serving her sentence on January 5, while Joe will then serve his once her time is complete. 13 Classic Teresa Giudice Moments 1. Last night, Bravo aired the first half of Joe and Teresa Giudice’s post-sentencing interview with Andy Cohen. Teresa Giudice Reacts to Prison Sentence On Thursday, the network that made the Giudices famous will feature the second half of their extended sit-down with Cohen, and given the slate of topics to be discussed, round 2 might leave the Giudices looking worse than ever. For one thing, Andy will reportedly confront Teresa about her claims that The Real Housewives of New Jersey is scripted, and edited to make her look bad. (We’re guessing AC wasn’t too thrilled with that statement.) But what we’re really looking forward to is the discussion about Joe Giudice’s alcoholism. As you may know, Joe’s lawyers requested that he be sent to a rehab facility to treat his alcohol addiction, rather than to prison. The judge, predictably, was having none of that, and Giudice was sentenced to 41 months behind bars. So why, then, when asked by Cohen if he he’s an alcoholic, does Joe simply shrug and say, “I might have a little problem; I’m not gonna lie.” Well, Joe, you either lied in the interview or you lied in court, because just last week you told a judge so you were such a heavy boozer that you required immediate in-patient rehab. In 2011, John Galliano was fired as creative director at Christian Dior and subsequent shunned by the fashion industry after making anti-Semitic comments in a Parisian café. As depicted in the following footage, Galliano was actually caught on camera declaring his love for Adolf Hitler . Teresa Giudice Scores MAJOR Payday For Pre-Prison interview; Bravo Paid Her HOW MUCH?!

Even though Teresa Giudice is headed to prison soon, that doesn’t mean the troubled Housewife has any plans to let up in her relentless hustling. Along with her husband Joe, Teresa sat down for an interview with Bravo recently to speak publicly about her crimes and punishment for the first time since her sentencing. Teresa Giudice Reacts to Prison Sentence The interview will air in its entirety tonight, but regardless of whether or not it turns out to be the ratings bonanza that Bravo is banking on, it’s already proven to be a hugely lucrative 30 minutes for the Giudices. The couple was reportedly paid $325,000 for offering Bravo honcho Andy Cohen first crack at an interview. The network initially offered $275,000 for Teresa alone, but threw in an extra 50 grand in order for Joe to join her. Of course, the Giudices have been ordered to pay $414,000 in restitution, which means that all of the money they make from the interview will go to directly the victims of their various financial scams. It’s still a pretty sweet deal for Joe and Teresa, as they’re now well on their to settling their debt just days after being sentenced. Teresa has been ordered to report to prison on January 5 in order to begin serving her 15-month sentence. Joe Giudice has been sentenced to 41 months , and will begin his serving his time after his wife is released. Her mom is going to jail for over a year. Her dad is going to jail for over three years. But Gia Giudice is sticking by the side of Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice. A couple hours after her controversial parents were sentenced to prison for committing various kinds of financial fraud, the 13-year old took to Twitter on Friday and wrote the following: “Family forever. Such an amazing support system it’s unreal. The little things matter to me but the big things matter to you.” A judge decreed late last week that she had to set an example, ordering  Teresa Giudice to jail for 15 months . Earlier that same day, she sentenced Joe Giudice to jail for 41 months . Despite previous rumblings, it’s pretty clear the Giudices have told their kids about their impending fate, with Teresa starting her prison term on January 5. During the trial, the couple’s lawyer Miles Feinstein told Judge Esther Salas that Joe Giudice tried to do “everything he could” to exonerate Teresa. “He wanted his wife to get the best deal she could get,” Feinstein said Thursday. “He is a real man.” Yup. A real man who wasn’t satisfied being a part of the 1% and who therefore put his family’s future at risk by lying on mortgage and bankruptcy applications. Lady Gaga got herself a new tattoo yesterday, and in typical Lady Gaga fashion, she posted a photo of the process in which two things stood out: The tattoo in question was a GIANT Monster Paw. She is wearing no pants, because obviously. The purported “Monster Paw” looks to resemble a human-looking hand with some seriously scary claws, as created by tattoo artist Eric Gonzalez. A pro’s pro, he kept his focus despite the Gaga’s bare arse. That’s dedication to one’s craft, because those curves could start a Body Revolution . It’s unclear how or why one ends up wearing no pants despite keeping one’s wig, makeup and heels on throughout, but that’s Lady Gaga for you. It’s also the best of all her tattoos, she said this morning. “My favorite tattoo is the one I got last night in Hamburg,” she revealed in a Reddit AMA question and answer session today. “Its the Monster Paw.” “The symbol of my fans as they have held their paws high in the crowd every night since we became a community. Teresa Giudice Prison Sentence: She Still Hasn’t Told Her Kids?!

Yesterday, Teresa Giudice was sentenced to 15 months in prison as a result of her fraud conviction back in March. Her husband, Joe Giudice, was sentenced to 41 months , but won’t begin doing his time until after Teresa is released, so that one parent will be free to care for the couple’s four daughters at all times. Teresa, Joe Giudice Sentencing Pushed Back Speaking of the Giudice kids, they’re in for a shock when Teresa turns herself over to the authorities on January 5, as the three youngest girls reportedly haven’t been told that their parents are headed for prison. “Teresa and Joe decided they were only going to tell [13-year-old] Gia that they had both been sentenced to prison,” a source close to the family tells Radar Online.  “Telling the other three girls would have just been too hard because of their ages. They aren’t quite old enough to understand all of it. They don’t want to scare the girls.” It’s a somewhat understandable decision, as the girls are only nine, eight, and five, but it’s a conversation that Joe and Teresa will have to have with them at some point. The Giudices are right in assuming that the girls wouldn’t fully understand the situation, as based on Teresa’s interactions with the judge , the reality star doesn’t fully understand the charges, herself. The Giudices sentencing has been delayed several times since they both pled guilty to fraud back in March. But today the troubled couple finally had its day in court today, and as expected, both Joe and Teresa pulled out all the stops in hopes of avoiding prison. Joe and Teresa Giudice: Sentenced! Joe Giudice was sentenced to 41 months behind bars, as a last-minute plea to the judge fell on deaf ears. Joe and his lawyer went with an age-old excuse for his bad behavior, claiming that Giudice suffers from a severe drinking problem. “Joe does have a serious problem with alcohol,” attorney Miles Feinstein told the court. “And being on the show didn’t help. It’s there. I’ve noticed it. When he comes into my office he smells like alcohol.” Feinstein requested that Giudice be sent to rehab in lieu of prison. Unfortunately for Joe the judge and prosecutor weren’t having it. Judge Esther Salas stated that Joe will indeed have access to addiction treatment – while he’s doing his time behind bars. Joe, of course, wasn’t the only one engaging in 11th-hour shenanigans and generally making a mockery of the justice system. Sources say Teresa Giudice seemed oblivious to the seriousness of her situation this morning. The Real Housewife was reportedly laughing and speaking optimistically about her future as a team of beauticians prepped her for court. “Teresa has a hair stylist and makeup artist come to her house Thursday morning,” says one insider. “Not even the threat of going to prison was going to stop her from looking good.” When the beauty treatment took longer than expected and threatened to make the Giudices late for court, Teresa’s response was classic Teresa: “Teresa retorted the judge couldn’t start without her, and said she didn’t want to take a bad mug shot picture if it ended up being required.” And Teresa wonders why she hasn’t received much sympathy from the court thus far. News of her sentence has yet to be released, but we’re guessing her hair extensions and fake eyelashes didn’t help her case.
