Gia Giudice on Parents’ Impending Prison Sentence: We’ll Be Fine!

Gia Giudice has a message for anyone who wants to send a message of sympathy to her and her infamous family: Thanks, but no thanks! The 13-year old daughter of Teresa Giudice – who folks often see when they watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey online  – spoke to Access Hollywood about her parents’ impending prison sentences this week and sang a positive tune. “Obviously any news that is hurtful or horrible to hear is so upsetting,” Gia said. “But my family is probably one of the strongest families I know, so we’ll get through this. It’s gonna be fine. And when it’s over, we’re gonna be better than ever.” It begins early next month when Teresa Giudice begins serving a 15-month jail term for multiple counts of financial fraud. After she is set free, husband Joe Giudice will serve 41 months behind bars. For now, Gia is focusing on her band 3KT, which she formed with friends Alexa Maetta, and Christianna Cardinale. The threesome recently released their first music video back in October: a cover of Britney Spears’ “Circus” that included many skimpy outfits and risque choreography. Did we mention that Gia Giudice is 13 years old? “My parents think it’s fun,” Gia says of her music career. “My mom was there every step of the way. And when my dad saw it, he was like, ‘Nice, Gia.’ I just want to make them proud. That’s all that matters.” If only Gia’s parents felt the same way in return. Teresa Giudice: Fired By Crisis Manager For Trying to Land a Spot in Orange is the New Black Jail!

The ongoing saga of Teresa Giudice’s legal troubles just keeps getting weirder and weirder. Here’s a quick run-down to bring you up to speed: Earlier this month,  Teresa was sentenced to 15 months in prison . She tried to get out of it (even though she’d signed a plea deal); she gave some lucrative pre-prison interviews, and then she hired an ex-con “crisis manager.” Within days, the crisis manager – Wendy Feldman – had scored Teresa a tell-all book deal and helped her land a cushy prison assignment. It looked like there was finally a silver lining in the dark cloud that is Teresa’s life. So naturally, she had to go and paint it black: Feldman canned Teresa as a client this week after the reality star “repeatedly” ignored her advice and went behind her back to contact lawyers, judges, and the Bureau of Prisons. It seems Teresa badly wants to be assigned to Danbury Correctional Facility, the site that served as the inspiration for the Netflix series Orange is the New Black.  Teresa went behind Feldman’s back to request that the BOP send her to Danbury. She claims it’s so that she can be closer to her husband and kids, but c’mon…she probably just wants to meet Crazy Eyes. Mind you, Teresa was already assigned to a facility affectionately referred to as ” Camp Cupcake ” due to its lax rules and friendly staff.  Feldman had reportedly worked hard to get Teresa such a coveted assignment and was understandably pissed when Teresa threw it all away in hopes of gettin’ it on with Donna from That 70s Show. Feldman now says that she’ll never work with the Giudice family again. By that, we mean exploding in epic fashion on a Real Housewives finale, as Teresa Giudice and her table-flipping ways so famously did in Season 1? The stage was set at Dina Manzo’s Project Ladybug charity fashion show, with THE RUMOR on everyone’s mind and the twins making sure Victoria is not invited. That’s why yours is getting destroyed now. Joe Giudice is due in court today to be sentenced for possession of a fraudulent driver’s license. It’s small potatoes compared to the fraud charges that have already gotten Giudice sentenced to 41 months in prison, but even so, one might expect his wife to join him in court. Instead, sources say Teresa was a no show because she will be meeting with a divorce attorney to begin the process of ending her 14-year marriage to Joe. Rumors that Joe and Teresa are headed for divorce have been circulating for months, but insiders say that we’ll no longer have to speculate as to the state of the Giudice’s marriage: Teresa is intent on calling it quits. Reportedly, the Giudices have been living in separate homes ever since they were both sentenced to serve prison time at a hearing last month. Teresa is said to be fed up with Joe’s drinking and negligent parenting, and friends say she continues to blame her husband for the fact that she’ll have to report to prison on January 5. Of course, despite signing a plea deal, Teresa is still trying to get out of her sentence , and further proving that she really doesn’t understand how the law works, she’ll reportedly demand that her divorce lawyer also help her appeal her conviction. “Teresa really likes [the attorney], and will likely hire to handle the appeal of her looming prison sentence,” says a source. “She is going with her gut instincts on this one.” That should turn out well. Phaedra Parks, Apollo Nida to Divorce: It’s Officially OVER, Rep Confirms

It’s officially over for Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida. The reality star says she has retained counsel and will be amicably ending the couple’s marriage. The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member “has retained an attorney with the intent of amicably ending her marriage,” her rep, Steve Honig, confirms. As rumored earlier this week, Parks was gearing up to break her silence on Nida, who recently entered prison to begin serving an eight-year sentence. Like Teresa Giudice but even guiltier, he is off to the big house for fraud, but not before allegedly RAGING at Parks the day before he checked into lockup. If you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online , you’re going to see some major fireworks this coming season, which begins next month on Bravo. Nida, who was in jail for six years between 2003-09 for car theft charges, got out and quickly married Parks, with whom he has sons Dylan and Ayden. Not surprisingly, the consensus has been that Phaedra would divorce Apollo while he’s behind bars. Not the model husband you wait around for, honestly. Phaedra will be doing an exclusive interview with Ellen DeGeneres on October 14 to air October 15, her rep said, noting that she will be “very candid.” There will certainly be plenty of questions to answer during that sit-down. On September 10, Nida was supposed to check into the FMC Lexington, Kentucky, prison but instead went over to Parks’ home and had it out with her. Apollo Nida Photos: From Bravo to the Big House 1. Modern Family Season 6 Episode 3 Recap: The Cold Stops With Me

Last night’s Modern Family Season 6 Episode 3, “The Cold” began a bit slowly but came together cohesively by the end in a solid, if not stellar, installment. Watch Modern Family Season 6 Episode 3 Online Ostensibly, if you watch Modern Family online this week, what you’ll see is an episode framed around a family health epidemic, something we’ve all experienced. Beneath the surface, however, are a group of people trying to put on a good front and look tougher, stronger, and better than ever for the sake of … who knows. We all want to appear to be our best selves, especially around family, and no matter how open and honest we are with each other, it’s a tough act to pull off. Phil had done Mitchell and Cam a solid and gotten a friend to shoot the video at their wedding, though he uncovered a scary detail while editing: He was Patient Zero, the man who started it all. What he initially believed were allergies at the wedding was really “The Cold” and the video caught him red handed sneezing all over stuff … i.e. Mitch. Everyone, of course, was focused on their own flaws to even notice (or get to) Phil’s offending behavior, which was really the main takeaway here. Does anyone llke looking at themselves on tape? Meanwhile, Claire forced herself to go to a client meeting despite being deathly ill, since she’s Jay’s super tough girl and all that (even if she’s not). Gloria blames Jay for pressuring the kids so hard, although Manny then calls Gloria out as the one who’s truly guilty of this, telling him he’s so perfect 24/7. By the time all the plot lines came together at the dinner and viewing party at the end of Modern Family Season 6 Episode 3 , it worked out fairly well. As for the Andy and Haley romance, that unlikely pair continues to come into their own slowly but surely, and surprisingly provided some of the best moments.
