Terrell Owens, impossibly taut at age 38, poses shirtless in the new GQ . In addition to losing his shirt, he reveals that he lost nearly $80 million in career earnings. Now out of football and running out of money, he appears desperate. When people text him to ask where he is these days, Owens replies back : “I’m in hell.” Sad to hear that anyone feels that way. But is it his own fault? Terrell Owens blames the media for not giving him a chance to rehab his injury, and blames agent Drew Rosenhaus for not protecting him from a bad business deal. Owens earned around $80 million in his NFL career, but has found himself in deep financial trouble, despite never spending lavishly. How does that happen exactly? It’s not a matter of having lived too large, he insists. While he indeed racked up a few homes that milliond, the issue, he says, was being loyal and trusting to a fault. Owens said financial advisers recommended by Rosenhaus lost his money in highly leveraged (some borderline illegal) ventures and the housing market collapse. “I hate myself for letting this happen,” Owens told GQ. “I believed that they had my back when they said, ‘You take care of the football, and we’ll do the rest.'” “And in the end, they just basically stole from me.” It’s a sad tale, but this is also a guy with four baby mamas and no job – can’t blame your financial advisers for that – and whose brash self-absorption is unparalleled.

Since that whole football comeback didn’t work out, T.O. has taken his slore-y talents elsewhere. According to legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Mr. O says he makes between $2,800 – $6,400 per tweet. In one instance, he pulled in $2,800 to tweet for Cutters — a football glove company. He raked in $4,800 for tweeting on behalf of Old Navy. And he got $6,400 for tweeting about Fantapper — a sports social networking site. T.O. also discloses he’s earned residual money for an episode of “Punk’d” and for his appearances on “Any Given Sunday” and “Necessary Roughness.” And get this … T.O. scored $10 grand for promoting Yahoo Fantasy Football and $20 grand for promoting a Super Bowl party. Here’s what else was learned about T.O.: He spends more than $80K in personal expenses and $40K in child support. Damn, Terrell! No wonder he’s trying to stay in the NFL! Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada has been convinced to come back for another season. She’s so darn valuable, she was given an insane deal she couldn’t pass up. Evelyn was prepared to leave the VH1 “hit” before its fourth season, but she was given a package that allows her to work less, earn more, and get her own spinoff. Even a Basketball Wives cast member isn’t dumb enough to reject that. Earlier this fall, Evelyn had made up her mind that she was done with the show after a VH1 blog post suggested she cheated on her fiance, NFL star Chad Ochocinco. ( Cheated with Terrell Owens , to be exact). However, once Evelyn Lozada let producers know she was out, they really made a push to keep her. Guess you gotta go all out to keep your prized “talent” in house. Her new deal requires her to film half as often, with the flexibility to work around her daughter’s school schedule and Chad’s NFL games, all while getting a big raise. The icing on the cake? The network promised to spin off Evelyn and Chad into their own show, documenting the months leading up to their wedding. Hallelujah.

Terrell Owens has asked a judge to lower his child support payments to baby mama Monique Reynolds because he can’t afford it. According to TMZ , the former NFL player wants a judge reduce the payments he’s making, and for them to “mirror his income today and not be based on income from over four years ago.” T.O. was due in court in Northern California for a child support hearing on October 24, but he did not show up. Lawyers for Reynolds wouldn’t reschedule. The former wide receiver’s audition for a new gig was scheduled the next day, but no one showed up! If you have kids you have to take care of them. Here’s hoping the courts will find a fair middle ground. T.O. also has a son that he’s never even bothered to meet.
