The Bachelor: Is Juan Pablo Galavis Engaged? Or Even Together with Winner?

Noticeably absent from this season of The Bachelor? Not drama. Oh, there’s been plenty of that, including off camera (thank you, Juan Pablo’s anti-gay comments). What there hasn’t been is any indication that Juan Pablo Galavis is head over heels about the winner. Lots of talk about the journey, but no such proclamations. A source connected to The Bachelor tells E! Tuesday. “He really likes the woman he chooses at the end.” Now there is a strong, emotional statement. The Bachelor Season 18 Episode 7 Promo If you’ve read The Bachelor spoilers – beyond simply to find out who wins – you may know that this isn’t the first hint that Juan Pablo does not get engaged. And then there’s this. Asked if he’s planning a TV wedding a la Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici or Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum, Juan Pablo says: “That’s something you have to think about. Because I like a big, very Latin wedding. I work in the music industry and have a lot of friends so … I don’t know.” Doesn’t sound like he’s even pondered it, in other words. Also worth noting? Juan Pablo never married his ex Carla Rodriguez, his daughter’s mother, and with whom he is still close, despite their relationship of several years. He also gives mixed signals left and right. One minute he’s having sex with Clare Crawley in the ocean, the next he’s refusing to kiss girls and sending the wrong message. What is his endgame? Does he even know the answer? Maybe we’re completely reaching, but he does not sound like someone who’s put a ring on it after a few weeks of TV dates. Or possibly ever. Just a theory. Catherine Giudici Takes Sean Lowe’s Last Name; Bachelor Star So Freakin’ Happy

Catherine Giudici is officially a Lowe. The Bachelor winner took her husband’s last name following her fairy tale TV nuptials with Sean Lowe last month. The switch is official, as Catherine Giudici proudly declared, “The best day of my life. I’m a Lowe!” to her 500,000 Twitter and Instagram followers. The newlyweds have just returned from a romantic honeymoon in the tropics, and Sean says he is “so freakin’ happy” with how it all turned out. Married life does seem to suit the couple rather well. Since returning from her honeymoon, she’s been posting photos of her and her new husband cuddling in bed, as well as photos from her wedding. The two had their doubters when he picked her on The Bachelor, but he was true to his word that she was the one – and he was willing to wait for her. Seriously. They passed a premarital sex polygraph . In making the name change, Cat follows in the footsteps of Bachelorette Trista Rehn, took her husband Ryan Sutter’s last name after their marriage. Molly Malaney, who married former Bachelor Jason Mesnick in 2011, did the same, although Ashley Hebert did not take J.P. Rosenbaum’s last name. Desiree Hartsock is engaged to Chris Siegfried, and they seem like they’re going to make it, so we’ll see if she goes the Lowe route soon enough. As for Juan Pablo and his chosen bride? Chris Brown: Partying With Trey Songz on Break From Rehab!

Chris Brown, after visiting his lawyer, swung by Trey Songz’ Super Bowl party on Sunday, and it’s possible that pit stop could land him in hot water. Brown was given a pass out of anger management rehab specifically to meet with his attorney, Mark Geragos, to prepare for a court hearing the next day. At the hearing, the judge kept Chris out of jail despite the D.A.’s request to lock him up. Had he seen this photo, might things have turned out differently? Obviously, Mr. Karrueche Tran is not doing anything wrong in this photo. It’s also reasonable to believe he might have merely stopped by to see his pal Trey and that’s it, but there were girls, booze and who knows what else there. When you’re in court-ordered rehab, this becomes a consideration. Sources close to Chris tell TMZ he was only there for around 10 minutes, and only because he thought the party was for charity … an iffy excuse at best. There was no evidence of any fundraising, and it’s irrelevant anyway, although Chris sources say he didn’t drink and was monitored by a rehab worker. That sounds like BS too, but he’s back in rehab now in any case … Chris Brown Avoids Jail, Stays in Rehab

Nikki Farrell: The Bachelor Frontrunner Already?

The Bachelor’s 18th season on ABC is just a few episodes old, but already, one Bachelorette looks to be rising to the top of the competition: Nikki Farrell. To those avid readers of The Bachelor spoilers , this is not surprising. We won’t give away too much here, but you can follow the link to learn more. What we will say is that she’s not getting sent home anytime soon, which should be obvious if you’ve observed how she makes Juan Pablo Galavis swoon. Juan Pablo’s reception of her during the season premiere ( watch The Bachelor online to see that and the next two episodes) appeared to set the tone. The 26-year-old, blonde Missouri native, a pediatric nurse and part-time model, did not secure the first impression rose, she was noticed for sure. Nikki Farrell presented him with a stethoscope so that he could “hear how nervous and excited she was.” JPG was excited too, not-so-subtly feeling her up. In each of the next two weeks, she’s won the group date rose, no doubt sparking jealousy among the rest of the women … and that’s only the beginning. Soothsayer Reality Steve suggests that Farrell may just turn out to be the “villain” – the least liked woman in the house on Season 18 of The Bachelor . If she also won the final rose, it would make her a member of an exclusive club with the likes of Vienna Girardi, Shayne Lamas and Courtney Robertson. None of whom stayed engaged to The Bachelor , it’s worth noting. It remains to be seen if Nikki Farrell makes it all the way, or whether she (or whomever wins this season) stays together with Juan Pablo Galavis . We would have to bet against that, if only because of statistics. The track record just isn’t good, despite a recent uptick. Peyton Manning "Omaha" Calls Earn 24K for Charity

What’s better than throwing for 400 yards in the AFC championship game, defeating your arch rival and earning your third trip to the Super Bowl? How about netting your charity thousands and thousands of dollars? A week after microphones picked up Manning screaming “Omaha” 44 times at the line of scrimmage during a victory over the Chargers, eight businesses in that city decided to donate $800 for each time Manning screamed this audible during yesterday’s win against the Patriots. Peyton Manning “Omaha” Explanation The unique, fun deal netted $24,800 for the quarterback’s Peyback Foundation after he barked it out 31 times on Sunday. “This has been terrific for us,” said David G. Brown, president and CEO of the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce, which headed up the charity drive. “Before Friday, we had calculated that news coverage of Omaha had generated the equivalent of about $10 million in advertising.” Brown added that the city had no interaction with Manning or his representatives about the effort, but presumed Manning would accept the donations. “This is really great for Omaha as a community and for the businesses that are embedded here,” said Todd Simon, a senior vice president of Omaha Steaks, which took part in the promotion. “Who knows whether any of this will translate to the bottom line, if ever, but it can’t hurt.” And it’s nice to know that Richard Sherman’s postgame rant isn”t all people are talking about the day after these games.

The Bachelor Sneak Peek: Trouble in Paradise?

While Juan Pablo Galavis’ anti-gay comments continue to make more interesting headlines than anything on The Bachelor, there’s a new episode tonight. A sneak peek from the third episode of the year has hit the web, and it looks like it will be a juicy installment … or the editors at ABC need raises ASAP. The Bachelor Season 18 Episode 3 Preview The Bachelor spoilers have promised two one-on-one dates and one individual date tonight, as well as Juan Pablo and the ladies having a big pool party. Jealousy brews when Sharleen Joynt captures time with Juan Pablo, and unlike when she was offered the first impression rose, she’s not holding back. The other ladies see this, and it’s a bit too much to handle for Clare Crawley, who had a one-on-one date with JPG in the season’s second episode. Clare decides she needs to walk away from the group of girls and take a deep breath, visibly frustrated with the fact that she has to share the single dad. Just how bad does the jealousy get? How long until there are some quality, full-on meltdowns that dominate the reality show’s two-hour episodes? And what other dramatic moments lie ahead this week and beyond as Juan Pablo’s EPIC “journey” for love/fame/stepmom continues to play out? ‘The Bachelor’ Star Calls Gay People Perverted & Says Having Them On The Show Would Set A Bad Example For Kids

Do you agree? ‘Bachelor’ Star Juan Pablo Says Gay Shouldn’t Be Allowed On The Show Juan Pablo, the latest face of ABC’s “The Bachelor,” is catching some backlash for his outwardly anti-gay stance in response to talk about there being a gay-friendly version of the show in the near future. via Hollywood Life He broke barriers by becoming the first minority to star on The Bachelor, but apparently he’s totally against the show pushing the envelope any further. In a new interview, Juan Pablo unveiled his harsh views on h*m*se*uality and railed against the idea of having a season of The Bachelor involving gay or [bi] people. “I don’t think it is a good example for kids to watch that on TV,” Juan Pablo told The TV Page, making it plain and clear how he feels about homosexuality and that lifestyle. Juan Pablo then tried to elaborate on his feelings: Obviously people have their husband and wife and kids and that is how we are brought up. Now, there is fathers having kids and all that, and it is hard for me to understand that too in the sense of a household-having people. Two parents sleeping in the same bed and the kid going into bed It is confusing in a sense. But I respect them because they want to have kids. They want to be parents. So it is a scale. Where do you put it on the scale? Where is the thin line to cross or not? You have to respect everybody’s desires and way of living. But it would be too hard for TV.” We’re pretty sure there aren’t many “kids” who watch The Bachelor….but do you agree with Juan’s comment about a gay-friendly “Bachelor” show setting a bad example for kids and being “more perverted?” Let’s discuss.
