Chris Harrison and Wife Gwen: It’s Over!

The Bachelor host Chris Harrison and his wife of over 18 years, Gwen, are divorcing. The couple announced their separation “after much heartfelt consideration” today. “Though we have made this incredibly difficult decision to separate , our love and mutual respect remain, and we look forward to sharing in the lives of our wonderful children,” Chris and Gwen said in a joint statement Thursday. Harrison, 40, is best known for hosting ABC’s The Bachelor and The Bachelorette . In 2010, he was accused on-screen of hitting on a producer’s wife. At the time, he was hardly ruffled by the “cheap shot” of controversial contestant Rozlyn Papa . “I had nothing to hide,” he said. “My wife was there.” The couple live 35 miles from Hollywood with their kids Joshua, 9, and Taylor, 7. Harrison, who coaches both kids’ soccer teams, is “an amazing father,” Gwen says. “He’s very loving and involved.” He’s also amazing at his job. Burning Love: Yahoo Web Series to Parody The Bachelor

Yahoo will be introducing a web series that parodies The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, with Ben Stiller, Kristen Bell and Malin Akerman among the cast. Burning Love, which debuts Monday, June 4 on the Yahoo Comedy Channel, depicts an over-the-top, dramatic and hypersexual reality dating show. Scarily, this is not that much more absurd than the real thing … Burning Love Trailer Yahoo’s Bachelor parody will follow fictional fireman Mark Orlando, played by Ken Marino, as the hunk searches for the perfect woman to give it to. There will be bubble baths, hair extensions, spray-tans, bitter competition and genuinely insane women (one of them homeless) along the way. Former Bachelor Jake Pavelka, hilariously, even makes a cameo. Burning Love is totally a must-see. Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson: "Engaged-Dating"

Controversial lovebirds Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson of The Bachelor fame say they are enjoying what they’ve come to call “engaged dating.” The way this season went, that’s as good as one could hope for, if not better. “We’re still getting to know each other and taking it slow ,” Flajnik told People at a fashion show in New York. “[Things] are working out really well.” Courtney Robertson agrees, but says she still has a lot to learn about Ben. “It’s nice to see him in social settings and with his family,” says the model. “He is always the life of the party. He’s got this great personality.” While the duo is looking forward to a summer filled with travel plans and wedding invitations, they won’t be rushing down the aisle anytime soon. “We’re not even there yet,” Ben Flajnik said. Added his fiance, perhaps the most reviled Bachelor contestant ever, “[We’re] just enjoying each other.” Things are going swimmingly, though, save for minor hiccups. She’s finding out what they don’t have in common: He “hates bananas,” she says. But she has won him over with her favorite drink: “She’s got me drinking those things,” Ben says of the fermented tea-based beverage kombucha. If that’s their biggest problem now, they could prove a lot of us wrong. What do you think: Will Ben and Courtney last?

Black folks want reality show love too! Over the years, one of the most commonly asked questions about “ The Bachelor ” has been why are there not more African-American men and women on the show. If you believe a new lawsuit that has been filed, then the responsible parties may well be the people working behind the scenes at the popular reality show. Via TMZ reports : “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” are about to get a thorny rose — in the form of a lawsuit. We’re told the 2 plaintiffs — both African Americans — went to a Nashville hotel to audition for the role of bachelor. Christopher Johnson — an aspiring NFL player — claims when he arrived a producer asked him what he was doing there. Johnson and the other plaintiff, Nathaniel Claybrooks, both say they were taken to the side of the room and left out of the normal audition process. Neither was called back, and they believe it’s because of their race. They will be filing a class action lawsuit in federal court Wednesday AM. We’re told ABC, Warner Horizon Television, Next Entertainment, NZK Productions and creator Mike Fleiss, will all be sued. Jessica Simpson Pulls Double NBC Duty on The Biggest Loser, Fashion Star

Jessica Simpson had a busy night few watched on NBC, rewarding winners on The Biggest Loser and then judging aspiring designers on the premiere of Fashion Star . “People across America can change their lives, and I think Conda and Kim are setting such great examples,” Jess said on the former, promoting her own products. In addition to a year’s supply of BeautyMint products, the winning pair scored free Simpson-brand clothes, shoes and necklaces with diamond butterfly charms. “Any time you get discouraged, look down at your butterfly,” she encouraged Conda Britt and Kim Stone, both single moms triumphantly fitting into size 10s. “These girls have lost so much weight and it just shows how determined they are to feel good,” Simpson said. “To be able to be a part of that is very special.” Speaking of special, Jessica Simpson posed nude in Elle recently. And, last night also marked the premiere of NBC’s Fashion Star , hosted by Elle Macpherson. Featuring Simpson, Nicole Richie and John Varvatos as mentors who both meet with contestants behind the scenes and offer opinions, the show made its debut. It’s unclear how long it’ll be around, but it debuted. Sort of like The Voice , but with clothes, aspiring designers send out a look and hope that buyers from Saks Fifth Avenue, H&M and Macy’s will want the creations. Of the designers who get no offers from the three, the mentors save one and the buyers decide who’s out. It’s as confusing as it sounds, but oh-so-stylish!

Pauly D to DJ Snooki Baby Shower

Snooki didn’t have to look far for baby shower entertainment. The Jersey Shore star, who is pregnant and engaged to Jionni LaValle, recently made a very special request to her co-star Paul DelVecchio, a.k.a. Pauly D. “She told me she wants me to deejay the delivery room,” Pauly tells People . “I might have to decline, but I told her I’ll just deejay he baby shower.” His baby shower DJ role will have to come in between his deejaying at Las Vegas’s Hard Rock Hotel, where he is beginning a deejaying residency. He also has a show, The Pauly D Project , premiering on MTV March 29. While he won’t be in charge of the baby shower, he has thought about what a Pauly D baby shower would look like for his Jersey Shore cast mate. “I would have spray tan booths in the corner, because she loves to tan, and a lot of loud music,” he says. “And I’d have pickles everywhere, too.” He’s also given some thought to styling Snooki’s baby when he/she is born. “I think it’s ready for hair gel as soon as it comes out. If there is hair, throw some gel in there,” he says. “Too young to tan though. Don’t tan.” “You gotta be 18 for that. Maybe a spray tan.”

Nick Gordon: Dating Bobbi Kristina Brown!

Bobbi Kristina Brown has gone public with her relationship. The 19-year old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown is dating Nick Gordon, as the couple Tweeted a photo of itself last night. The twist? Gordon is sort of her step-brother. Bobbi and Nick met many years ago after the former’s mother took Nick in as one of her own because he was suffering through major family problems. A source tells E! News that Gordon – described as laid back and intelligent – has been the de facto “man” of the house since Bobby Brown departed. There’s no blood relation between the pair, of course, which is what prompted Gordon to lash out via Twitter yesterday, writing: “Yea we got a little closer and what!!!… All the haters that dont know us or th real story can’t un follow me. I don’t give a f–k. I’ve proved my loyalty to her and the Houston family. I don’t owe any of you anything. Ha I don’t even know y’all haters….Some ppl have no lives so they gotta be in ours. “For the stupid ppl out there she gave birth to 1 child. And she trusted me with EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!… She called me her me ” God Son” I swear some ppl in this world act like they don’t have a brain…”

Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson "Work Well Together," Bachelor Star Insists

Ben Flajnik’s decision to propose to Courtney Robertson on The Bachelor finale was not exactly well received, but he stands by it, saying they’re a great fit. The reality star hopes that as the recent controversy dies down, “people will get a better understanding of who we are and why we’re still together .” Ben admits he saw signs of Courtney Robertson’s now-infamously catty behavior this season, “like when she would skip back after getting a rose.” Just the same, “I asked [the other women] for specific examples and [they said], ‘She’s weird,’ or ‘She’s different.’ That wasn’t reason enough.” Ben Flajnik says there were “many really sweet moments that we had together” that kept him interested in Courtney Robertson , come what may. Plus, he adds, “She was one of the only girls on the show that questioned the experience and that’s what I found attractive about her – and I still do.” “Courtney was always like, ‘I’ve only been on two dates with you, why should I bring you home right now? My family is really important to me.'” “It was like, finally, someone who asks the right questions instead of [saying], ‘It’s going be wonderful and we could be married for the rest of our lives.’ ” Despite acknowledging that the two split for several weeks this winter, during which he kissed a bunch of random girls , Ben says they “will be fine.” “Maybe someday people will get behind us, but for now we work really well together,” he says. “The Bachelor will not define me as a person.” Question is: Will Ben and Courtney last?

Michael Madsen Arrested on Child Endangerment Charge After Fight With Son

Actor Michael Madsen was arrested Friday on suspicion of felony child endangerment. Madsen was taken into custody in Malibu, Ca., then released early this morning and was in decent spirits on his way out, calling the whole incident a “big misunderstanding.” So what the heck happened exactly? According to law enforcement, Madsen got into a a physical fight with his juvenile son, and when cops arrived, they observed several signs of injury on his son. Madsen also appeared to be under the influence of alcohol at the time. The son did not require medical attention, but Madsen was booked on a charge of child endangerment with cruelty to a child – a felony charge. Then what? Madsen’s attorney, Perry Wander, tells TMZ that “[Michael Madsen] found his son smoking pot and they got in an argument when he tried to take it away.”
