Sean Lowe: AshLee Frazier Elimination "Agonizing" on The Bachelor (But No Regrets)

Sean Lowe admits he was pretty broken up about eliminating AshLee Frazier on The Bachelor Monday, but at the same time, has no regrets about the decision. Writes the reality star in his weekly blog for People : “AshLee was a frontrunner from the very first night. She seemed to have everything that I was looking for, and I think she was the best for me on paper. “However, I was definitely aware that I didn’t seem to laugh as much with AshLee as I did with Lindsay and Catherine. AshLee was always very intense.” “I had to decide if I could be with someone who didn’t share my sense of humor. I’ve said from the very beginning that I was looking for my best friend.” “Being with [finalists Catherine Giudici and Lindsay Yenter ] seemed like they could be that. I didn’t have the same feeling when I was with AshLee.” “Of course, she brought me so much joy and I could picture her being my loving wife and a fantastic mother to our children, but I knew I needed more.” “I want to create a home full of laughter and to share my life with someone who is adventurous. And as much as I wanted that to be AshLee, I knew it wasn’t.” “Watching AshLee’s video blog was agonizing because I knew she had given her whole heart to me and I was about to break it. I absolutely dreaded the rose ceremony.” The Bachelor Clip – AshLee Eliminated “I did not want to blindside AshLee … After taking a deep breath and handing the last rose to Catherine, I was really upset to see AshLee’s reaction.” “Not because it made it more difficult for me, but because I knew she wouldn’t have closure if she didn’t allow me the chance to explain myself.” “All I wanted to do was console her and give her closure and talk it out. But I could tell that she wanted to leave my side as quickly as she could.” “Who was I to try and stop her? It was just agonizing.” We have no doubt, given Sean’s sincerity as a human being, that it was. Still, we feel bad for AshLee, as we’re sure he does as well. How can you not. That being said, did he make the right decision? Did she handle it the right way? And who should win now (see The Bachelor spoilers if you dare)? The Bachelor Spoilers: Sean Lowe Engaged To …

By now, fans have likely read (or deliberately avoided) The Bachelor spoilers floating out there for months now … but if you haven’t, well, buckle up! With only three women left, speculation is reaching a fever pitch. Who does Sean Lowe get engaged to on the March 11 finale, and are they still together? The Bachelor Preview: Fantasy Suite Overnight Dates With the overnight dates on tap for this coming Monday and the finale set for March 11 (the Women Tell All special airs March 4), which lucky girl wins? AshLee Frazier, Catherine Giudici and Lindsay Yenter have each formed strong bonds with Sean, yet in very different ways. It’s hard to guess what he’ll decide. Well, unless you simply know ahead of time, which is why you’re reading this, isn’t it? So follow the jump to learn how the final two episodes shake out: Consider this your final WARNING : The Bachelor spoilers await! No, really … avert your eyes now or don’t blame us, because … AshLee Frazier is eliminated after the overnight dates. Lindsay Yenter finishes as the runner-up this season. Catherine Giudici is the winner of the final rose. Sean Lowe proposes to her on the finale. She says yes. They’re engaged. According to the great Reality Steve , he who has been breaking The Bachelor spoilers for YEARS now, you can “1,000 percent” take this to the bank. 100 percent would be sufficient, but we get his point. Reportedly, AshLee does not take the rejection well next week, and this makes for one of the most heart-wrenching exits in the history of the ABC franchise. Also, there is a “moral line in the sand” drawn in the Fantasy Suite process for the first time, as “born-again virgin” Sean is reluctant to sleep with the women. Gotta respect the man for that, but that doesn’t mean eliminating them is any easier. After AshLee exits, Lindsay and Catherine meet Sean’s family. There is no big twist at this season’s final rose ceremony, with one being sent home early or someone from the past returning or anything of the sort. Both girls approach Sean in Thailand, he chooses Catherine Giudici and Lindsay Yenter is crushed – and probably the next Bachelorette by default. And there you have it. Any additional details will be passed along as soon as we come across them, but The Bachelor spoilers have been on point so far. If they were wrong now, we’d be surprised. Stranger things have happened, for sure (see Chantal vs. Emily), but we very much doubt it right here. What do you think of the alleged final rose choice? We’ll find out 100 percent in two weeks, but assuming this is true: Did Sean make the right decision?

The Bachelor: Sean Lowe Fantasy Suite Rejection Ahead?

By now, you’ve likely read The Bachelor spoilers for insight on who wins Sean Lowe’s final rose on March 11. Or you’ve purposely avoided said spoilers. Either way, we’ll leave that conversation alone here. Follow the above link for all those details. Right now, let’s talk about Monday’s big episode. It’s Fantasy Suite time … or is it, given Sean’s born-again virgin status? AshLee Frazier, Catherine Guidici and Lindsay Yenter accompany Sean to Si Kao, Thailand, where the sun is hot, but the Fantasy Suite may be not. Read on for some interesting insight on that very subject … The woman who gets sent home Monday night reportedly does not take this surprise well. We’re talking a tear-filled departure, with no words exchanged. “It’s one of the most heart-wrenching goodbyes ever on the show” says an E! source . “She is downright devastated and it’s impossible not to feel for her.” So who is it? Brings us to our second maybe-spoiler. AshLee Frazier reportedly struggles a bit on her date, which requires her to swim through a pitch-black cave … and that’s before the Fantasy Suite situation. According to ABC, she “draws a moral line in the sand.” Hmm. AshLee, like Sean, is very religious, so it’s hard to say how this will impact her chances. Still, you have to wonder if her days are numbered. As for Catherine and Lindsay, less is known about their dates, but Sean clearly enjoys the fun-loving, easy-going side of each. They could be your final two. Then again, Lindsay Yenter may be too young, and Catherine Giudici too much of a wild card for family-oriented Sean … who is engaged to the winner . What do you think? Who’s Sean going to choose? And who do you want to win The Bachelor?   AshLee Frazier Catherine Giudici Lindsay Yenter View Poll »

Race Matters–Judge Rules The Bachelor Doesn’t HAVE To Cast Black People

Did anyone other than the two fools who filed this suit ever care about being on The Bachelor anyway? LLS We’re not surprised with the Judge’s ruling one bit. According to TMZ… A judge has THROWN OUT a lawsuit that two black men filed against “The Bachelor” … in which they claimed they were rejected from the show based on the color of their skin. In the original suit, the men pointed out that every bachelor in the show’s history has been white — and claim producers intentionally stayed away from people of color because they feared an interracial relationship would alienate the show’s “predominantly white viewership.” But a Tennessee judge has officially dismissed the case — citing the 1st Amendment (Freedom of Speech) … and explaining that the court cannot tell TV producers … or movie producers … or playwrights … how to cast a production. In fact, the judge explains that Freedom of Speech is why “The Cosby Show” could have an all-black cast … why “Jersey Shore” can cast all-Italians … and why “Shahs of Sunset” can cast all-Persians. A rep for Warner Bros. — which produces the show — tells TMZ, “We felt from the onset this case was completely without merit and we are pleased the Court has found in our favor.” Damn…looks like homeboy isn’t gonna find his one true love on reality TV anytime soon. At least it’s one less show for us to be stereotyped on! Images via facebook

Chris Harrison on Ryan Lochte as The Bachelor: Two Conditions …

Rumors of Ryan Lochte as The Bachelor are swirling ever since the Olympics, and last night, host-pimp Chris Harrison says he’s very much open to the idea. With a couple of caveats, that is: Lochte must wear a Speedo the entire season. Absolutely no peeing in pools at the mansion. “That’s part of the deal” Harrison said at The Expendables 2 premiere in Hollywood. “Did you see him in his Speedo? I mean, all of America stopped.” “It’s a female driven show, come on!” Lochte, who will guest star on 90210 this fall, said of the Speedo stipulation, “That’s fine … I usually already am. There’s not much of a difference.” While conventional wisdom says the show will go with Arie Luyendyk, Jr. , or Sean Lowe, Harrison says “I think it would be awesome” to have Ryan. “If he promises not to pee in the pool, we’ll be alright.” “If it gets asked, I’d definitely consider it,” the 28-year-old swimmer said of looking for love on The Bachelor this winter. “So we’ll see what happens.” What do you think: Ryan Lochte as The Bachelor?

Courtney Robertson to Pen Tell-All Bachelor Book?!

The Bachelor and The Bachelorette spoilers seem to always leak, but the cast members are always on legal lockdown before, during and after the show. This fact makes it hard to believe recent reports that this year’s Bachelor winner, Courtney Robertson, is planning a tell-all book about the experience. According to In Touch, Ben Flajnik’s fiancee wants to “address misconceptions” about her name-calling, top-dropping, man-eating, “winning” ways. No other Bachelor or Bachelorette cast member has ever gone off the script by airing juicy behind-the-scenes details … most likely because of iron-clad NDAs. Just the same, “Courtney has a lot already written,” according to an unnamed source quoted by Wetpaint. “She started when she got home from filming the show.” “It was her way of coping with frustrations over how she was portrayed. Writing was her release … We all think she should definitely turn it into a book . It will be SO juicy.” One way to get around the legal obstacles? “Fictionalizing” it. “She could do it as a memoir – or as a fictional story loosely based on her life. It’s still in the early stages,” says the source of a possible Courtney novel. Hey, it worked for New York Times bestseller Lauren Conrad.
