Jimmy Fallon is a very lucky man. Towards the end of June, Fallon was hospitalized with a hand injury, forced to cancel his taping of The Tonight Show scheduled for that evening. Returning to his desk in New York City on Monday, Fallon sat back and explained to the audience how he was nearly left with nine digits as a result of the incident. “I tripped and fell in my kitchen on a braided rug that my wife loves and I can't wait to burn it to the ground,” Fallon said. “I tripped and fell and I caught my fall… I'm getting up and my finger is sideways.” Fallon went on detail how he got in a taxi to the emergency room at one hospital … prior to being informed he needed to go to a different hospital to see a specialist. Dancing with the Stars cast member and former star of The Bachelor Chris Soules says his fiancee Whitney Bischoff is still friends with his runner-up, Becca Tilley. But Nikki Reed doesn’t care much about what went down on screen. She was more focused on the handsome man leading the action off screen. Ian Somerhalder made his directorial debut on the installment, a feat that was wildly appreciated by the woman he cannot wait to marry. “@iansomerhalder you blow me away,” Reed wrote on Instagram after the episode aired, adding: “I am beyond inspired by the person you are, but mostly I am humbled by your work ethic and desire to always push for the best in yourself and others.” This isn’t the first time the actress has unabashedly gushed over her fiance. “He’s so beautiful inside and out!” Reed told Us Weekly on late January. “He’s quite possibly the most amazing man that’s ever walked the planet, it’s crazy. Broadcasting legend and video game namesake John Madden has gifted the world with loads of unintentional humor over the years, such as the many, many times that he pointed out that teams need to score points in order to win football games. Despite all the times Madden has made us laugh, however, it seems that he doesn’t totally understand comedy, as evidenced by his recent criticism of Will Ferrell. You see, Ferrell likes to combine his love of comedy with his love of sports, and the result is usually pretty incredible. Last month, Ferrell hurled a basketball at a cheerleader’s face and the stunt was made no less hilarious by the revelation that he was filming a scene for a movie. Yesterday, Ferrell played for ten different Major League Baseball teams in five different spring training games to raise money for cancer charities. For some reason, this royally pissed Madden off: John Madden Slams Will Ferrell Yes, Madden is bringing the same level of eloquence and insight to his criticism of Ferrell that he brought to his annual, poetic descriptions of the Thanksgiving turducken.
