Sanaa Lathan And Michael Ealy Talk “The Perfect Guy” Movie Sanaa Lathan and Michael Ealy were recently in Atlanta promoting their upcoming film “The Perfect Guy.” The duo took to the city’s Time Lounge where they met with bloggers and photographers to dish on their movie that follows the romance between Leah (Sanaa) and Carter (Michael Ealy) that turns sour after Carter turns out to be a crazed stalker and sociopath. BOSSIP was on hand for the event and chatted with the stars about real life stalkers and on set fun between Sanaa, Michael and their costar Morris Chestnut. Sanaa Lathan on behind the scenes fun: One day I get to work with Michael, the next day I get to work with Morris. They kept me laughing. A lot of my girlfriends never want to visit on set but this was one of the times when they would say, ‘oh hey, can I come to work with you?!’ Michael Ealy on playing “the bad guy”: I like to think of Carter as more than a stalker. I feel like for me as an actor it’s always good to diversify your body of work, I don’t want to play a good guy for the rest of my life. I’ve been dying to play a bad guy. It was just about finding that right part. They were a couple times she [Sanaa] was really scared. On “Fatal Attraction” inspiring the film: That was one of our inspirations, it’s one of those classic suspense, sexy thrillers that shocked the world when it came out and it did so well. Justin Bieber may have a chest and a set of abdominal muscles that just won’t quit. But the singer clearly needs to get his eyes checked. Despite not even being at Kylie Jenner’s 18th birthday party himself, the artist shared a picture of Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble from the event on Instagram and wrote as a caption to it: “Hottest couple in the game.” Sort of makes you wonder what game Bieber is playing, doesn’t he? Do you think he’s never seen a photo of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds?!? Or, heck, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West for that matter? Gamble and Kris attended Kylie’s big shindig in West Hollywood on August 9 and, according to an onlooker, the former “genuinely made an effort” to interact with Caitlyn Jenner , who was also at the event. Gamble and Kris first stepped out together in October 2014, about a year after the famous matriarch and manager split from her husband of over two decades. Naked Man Arrested Getting Drunk With Pigs In Neighbor’s Barn A slizzard man was caught getting drunk with pigs in his neighbor’s barn! Via Crime Feed : He was in hog heaven. Last week, a drunk, naked 64-year-old man found himself in hot water when cops caught him trespassing at a hog barn he’d been previously banned from. (Apparently he’s a big fan of said barn — he was caught trespassing there before.) Larry Henry of Lancaster, Penn., now faces a slew of charges after cops found him hanging out naked with various “market-weight hogs.” Related: Detroit Cops Find 500-Lb. Pig Trapped In Dead Man’s Basement When asked why he was there, Henry reportedly told officers, “I just like pigs.” He was also drinking a 6-pack of Hamm’s beer (oh so appropriate!) while chilling with the hefty critters. The pig fan is due in court in early August on charges of indecent exposure, criminal trespassing, defiant trespassing and public drunkenness. At least this wasn’t in Florida!
KKK Supporters And Black Peaceful Crowd Meet At Confederate Flag Rally When will the KKK go away?? Via Raw Story : After proclaiming that the Confederate flag isn’t a symbol of hate and vowing a peaceful protest against its removal, members of the Ku Klux Klan required a police escort to leave a rally in front of the South Carolina statehouse on Saturday. The Klan rally was scheduled from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the south side of the statehouse grounds, while on the north side, the Black Educators For Justice were scheduled from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., Greenville Online reports. Governor Nikki Haley had asked people to stay home instead. “Our family hopes the people of South Carolina will join us in staying away from the disruptive, hateful spectacle members of the Ku Klux Klan hope to create over the weekend and instead focus on what brings us together,” she said in a statement. “We want to make the Statehouse a lonely place for them. In doing so, we’ll honor those we have lost and continue to make our state stronger.” Instead, the event turned raucous. Despite numerous claims by the KKK that their event would be peaceful, videos of Klan members carrying confederate flags and taunting black protesters with ugly racist speech quickly emerged. In one video, a white man with a shaved head can be seen making ape noises, another threatening to “hang your black *ss.” In another video, another Confederate flag-holding white man tells a person that they are the color of excrement. The Flash slowed down just enough to make quite an impression on Comic-Con attendees in Comic-Con this weekend. With the show's main players and producers on hand for a panel discussion, fans were treated to The Flash Season 2 scoop that included Teddy Sears being cast as Jay Garrick. We also learned that Shantel VanSantel will come on board as Patti Spivot and that Professor Zoom will be the main Season 2 villain. How will Barry react to a foe who is actually faster than he is?!? The CW unveiled a fun sizzle reel at the event, taking us through the highlights of Season 1 and also giving us flashes (pun… intended!) of Season 2. The brunette posted a montage of pics (her “story”) Friday, depicting herself in bed with one of the many men trying to take her there on Season 11. Based on this image, is there any reason not to assume Shawn Booth will be the eventual Bachelorette champion when the season comes to a close? Fans who watch The Bachelorette know Booth, a 28-year-old personal trainer, has been one of Bristowe’s consistent favorites from the start. He was the man most upset recently when Bristowe allowed Andi Dorfman-reject Nick Viall’s return to the show on this week’s installment. Neither Bristowe nor ABC have commented on this most unexpected post and photos were quickly removed from Bristowe’s Snapchat. “Orange Is The New Black” Posts To Netflix Early Are you ready to head back to Litchfield? Netflix dropped the third season of the hit original series “Orange Is The New Black” six hours early — and needless to say fans (who aren’t otherwise engaged with the NBA finals ) are already getting their binges started. Via Variety : The inmates at Litchfield are getting an early release — well, at least season 3 of “Orange is the New Black” is. The third season of the dramedy, originally meant to hit Netflix at midnight on Friday, has been released a few hours earlier, debuting a little after 6 p.m. PST on Thursday. The streaming service confirmed the release on Twitter. The surprise was announced in the midst of OrangeCon, the invitation-only fan event held in New York that includes cast members Aduba, Taylor Schilling, Laura Prepon, Laverne Cox, Natasha Lyonne, Lea Delaria and more. During a cast panel at the event, Aduba asked Netflix topper Reed Hastings, who was tuning in via video call, to let fans see get an early peek at season 3. Hastings smiled and then took her request to the next level, announcing the six-hour early debut. Jenji Kohan is series creator and showrunner of “Orange Is the New Black,” based on the memoir of the same name by Piper Kerman. The show has already been renewed for season four, and starts shooting on Monday. Well, we know how some of y’all will be spending this weekend…
Fans Without Tickets Rushed Met Life Stadium Gates; State Police Used Tear Gas To Control Them A popular hip-hop concert ended in a near riot when fans without tickets bum-rushed the gates surrounding the venue to get in. New Jersey State Police used tear gas to subdue several hundred unruly fans Sunday evening who tried to scale a 10-foot high fence to enter H ot 97’s Summer Jam concert at the MetLife Stadium. While the likes of Big Sean, Chris Brown and Future jammed with more than 80,000 people at the sold out concert, fans – some of whom had been drinking and smoking in the parking lot all afternoon – became irate that they weren’t able to enter the stadium. They began scaling a high fence and forcing their way past security guards. State Police in riot gear and armored vehicles soon swarmed the outside of the stadium, pushing the fans back and throwing tear gas to subdue the crowd. State Police spokesman Lt. Brian Polite told BOSSIP that the department was still tallying the number of arrests. The fans, in turn, began throwing glass bottles at the phalanx of officers standing behind the gates. “They started turning over the garbage cans and taking out bottles, and throwing them at police,” one witness told BOSSIP. Several witnessers told BOSSIP they saw angry fans hurl glass bottles at the cops. MetLife Stadium employees also told BOSSIP that one fan picked up a table and hurled it at a state trooper. “Somebody picked up a table and was arguing with the police and hit the officer in the neck,” the employee, who didn’t want to be named for fear of losing his job, told BOSSIP. “Then, all of a sudden, the police came from everywhere.” Fans inside the concert were largely oblivious to the melee outside. In a statement posted to Facebook, the New Jersey State Police said they deployed officers after unruly fans tried to force their way into Summer Jam. “This evening, security personnel at one of the entrance gates to MetLife Stadium were confronted by crowds attempting to illegally enter the sold out Summer Jam concert by climbing over fences and forcing their way through security personnel,” the police statement read. “The gates have been shut and troopers on site have called for assistance from several nearby stations to help maintain order.” Hot 97 said in a statement that a “small number of people created an unsafe environment,” forcing police to bar further entry to the one night only show, which is billed as one of the biggest concerts in hip hop. The Manhattan-based radio station said that ticket holders who couldn’t get in would be given a full refund. “When fans realized tickets were not available at the box office, a small number of people created an unsafe environment, and for the safety of all guests, the New Jersey State Police were on scene to disperse the crowd,” Hot 97 said on it’s website. “The gates were closed at that time. Is there truth to the rumor that North West will have a pair of siblings in December? “It's ridiculous rumors,” Kim said at the event, adding: “I can't wait till my website's up so I can just say whatever I want, when I want.” We're not exactly sure what's stopping Kim from doing that now, considering her many social media accounts and followers… but hey. Yo Gotti Celebrates His Birthday With Atlanta Party Last Saturday Yo Gotti took the Atlanta nightlife to celebrate his 34th birthday. The party was held at Compound Nightclub where Gotti and friends turnt up with Gold bottles! Totti’s artist Snootie Wild also showed up to the event in all black showing birthday love to his friend and mentor. R&B singer Tank flashed a huge grin for the crowd while standing on the VIP couches of Compound.
