The Kardashians are world-class attention-seekers, but they usually rely on tried and true methods like sex tapes and famous boyfriends to stay in the spotlight. But since everyone and their sister is getting naked on Instagram these days, Khloe Kardashian decided to get experimental by posting this photo of herself wearing a sheep costume and holding a giant handgun. Just as she’d hoped, the pic has received a lot of attention, but probably not in the way Khloe had expected. The Fort Hood shooting is still a recent and painful memory for millions of Americans and gun control remains one of the country’s most hotly debated issues, so Khloe has understandably come under fire for the ill-timed post that many see as a glorification of firearms. In all likelihood, Khloe didn’t intend to make any kind of political statement and is likely just trying to distract from rumors that she’s having a baby with French Montana . But who knows? Maybe Khloe is trying to send the message that she’s ready to defend herself in the event that the devastated Lamar Odom tries to win her back. Or maybe this is her way of showing the world what kind of mother she would: an absolutely freakin’ terrifying one. We’ll probably never know for sure why Khloe posted the world’s strangest selfie, but at least we know she’s not the black sheep of the family anymore.

Yes, despite its unique cut and color, the dress Dormer wore during the so-called “Purple Wedding” has become a fan favorite and is expected to appear in several GoT -themed ceremonies this upcoming wedding season. The dress has made a star of the HBO series’ costume designer Michele Clapton, who says the dress was inspired by the Tyrell family’s rose sigil and the form-fitting cut of the grown represents Margaery’s desire to break with tradition (and piss off Joffrey’s mother, Cersei). Spoiler alert (although we’re of the opinion that if you’re behind on the show, you should probably avoid Thrones -themed web news): King Joffrey gets killed at the Purple Wedding, the victim of a murder plot that’s not resolved by the episode’s end. So hopefully women who felt inspired by the event won’t take their homages any further than emulating Margaery’s style. While many flocked to the concert series to see the newly reunited OutKast perform on the mainstage, those trying to catch a glimpse of Lorde and Pharrell Williams weren’t able to do so unless they got their early and claimed their spot in front of the smaller satellite stages. Justin Bieber, eager to shed his teen idol image, joined Chance the Rapper on stage for an F-bomb riddled performance that might have helped him attract a new audience (but probably not). While figures for the music festival aren’t released, it’s estimated that the 2013 concert raked in over $67 million dollars. With tweaks to this year’s format, the gross for 2014 is expected to be even higher, and given the star power who turned out, that’s not surprising.
