Sinead O’Connor made some disturbing disclosures about suicidal thoughts on Twitter that shocked and worried her fans – but was she even being serious? Yes … but only to a point. After posting a series of thoughts such as “now I wish I was dead, no hope,” and the Irish singer has responded to the backlash. Her core message, in an open letter posted this morning, is that you don’t have to hide your feelings, even those that come from a dark, disturbed place. At the same time? Please don’t off yourself. “Open letter to all people in who occassionally feel suicidal, think, or have acted suicidally, including that really annoying Sinead woman that won’t just shut the f–k up and stop making people feel uncomfortable,” she rambled. “Why would ‘God’ want u to beat urself up for wanting to die? Don’t allow anyone near u who, when ur with them u feel bad about u. U haven’t died. That’s what matters to God. God is close to the broken hearted. And ‘God’ doesn’t judge.” “Its ok to FEEL suicidal. That is most definately neither a sin nor a sign necessarily, of madness. Its quite normal to feel that way sometimes. And its not only ok but MANDATORY u SAY when u feel suicidal and ask for help.” “Anyone who criticises u can f–k off and is only afraid of their own ‘madness.'” O’Connor went on to ponder about spirituality and clarified that while she believes it’s OK to feel suicidal, people shouldn’t take their feelings any further. She noted that despite her rant this week, in which she told followers that she would kill herself if there was a way to do so without her children finding out her death was due to suicide, she certainly wasn’t encouraging that. (Why write it on Twitter then? Legitimate question.) “I do believe suicide is a sin,” O’Connor said. “Because u may as well have murdered every one who loves u even remotely. Including ‘God’.” “And we all have people who adore us.. Even if we think we don’t. Its a lie too, suicide. It doesn’t solve your problems. It only makes them infinately, un-countably worse. The wait is over as ABC announced their bright, shiny new cast Monday night (August 29) during “Bachelor Pad.” Here’s a look at the eclectic new contestants readying their dancing shoes for season 13 of “Dancing With the Stars”: Nancy Grace The former prosecutor has made a name for herself as the host of her own talk show on HLN. Grace covers the world of current affairs, in a no-nonsense, take-no-prisoners approach that often draws criticism for her snap judgment and pointed opinions. Ricki Lake Longtime fans will always remember Lake from her big-screen debut as Tracy Turnblad in the 1988 movie “Hairspray.” Later in life, Lake made a name for herself with her daytime talk show, which ended its 11-year run in 2004 but is reportedly returning to TV in fall 2012. Gavin DeGraw is speaking out for the first time since a beating on a New York street left him hospitalized . He says “all hell broke loose” August 8. Now on the mend at home, DeGraw sustained a broken nose, cuts, bruises and a concussion in a brawl that stemmed from late-night trash talk. For the first time, he’s opening up about what happened: “I met up with a couple of friends,” the singer told DC’s Hot 99.5 radio. “I was walking home, I got a few blocks and then all hell broke loose.” “Somebody said something to me I didn’t like. I let them know I didn’t like it. The first thing on my mind was, my life’s in jeopardy, and I was bleeding pretty bad… fortunately, I lived through it. It was very bloody.” He was beat up, then hit by a cab after he fleed from his assailants. Thankfully, DeGraw is feeling much better and told VH1 he is writing music as he recovers from his injuries. He’s also grateful to his fans. “I’m feeling much better, but it will take a little bit more time to be back to 100 percent! I’m overwhelmed with the outpouring of support from my fans, friends and family. I can’t wait to get back out on tour,” he said. Casey Anthony has reported to probation in Florida, but don’t expect a public address or list of her weekly requirements. Everything is TOP secret. Anthony showed up at the Florida Department of Corrections last night to begin serving her one-year probation sentence for a check fraud case. Casey, who was released from jail July 17 after being acquitted of murder in the death of 2-year-old daughter Caylee, had until Friday at noon to report. She must remain in Florida for the next year to serve probation. Florida corrections officials said in a press release that given the strong potential for death threats against Casey Anthony , her file will be kept confidential. The FDOC said, “The court has directed us to keep confidential the offender’s residence or any information that could lead to the discovery of her location.” This is due solely to “the death threats against her.” The statement continues, “Therefore, she will not be identified in our database, nor will her probation officer’s name or probation location be made public.”
Russell Armstrong was laid to rest at the Church of the Hills-Forest Lawn in the Hollywood Hills yesterday. There’s little to actually report because, thank goodness, Bravo did NOT film the event, but we know all cast members from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills were on hand to support Taylor Armstrong. Sources confirm that Russell’s remains will then be sent to Texas for a second service, as Taylor has been clashing with his family. From there, the body will be cremated and the ashes divided between Taylor and her in-laws. It’s still unclear how Bravo will handle the season premiere of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills . In the most recent news related to this tragedy, Entertainment Tonight has discussed photos of Taylor in detail , taken after an alleged beating from her husband.

A north suburban man pleaded guilty Tuesday to posing as a doctor to buy a deadly neurotoxin that comes from sources including puffer fish, which he intended “to use as a weapon,” according to the U.S. attorney’s office. Edward T. Bachner, 38, was arrested in 2008 following an investigation spearheaded by the FBI-led Joint Terrorism Task Force that culminated with special agents in biohazard suits raiding his Lake in the Hills home. He was charged with illegal possession of the puffer fish toxin in amounts larger than necessary for research or other legitimate purposes. In 2009, Bachner was charged in a superseding indictment that accused him of scheming to murder his wife in order to collect $20 million in life insurance. In the plea agreement, Bachner concedes that he planned to collect on a fraudulently purchased $20 million life insurance policy on a person identified only as “Individual A.” Tetrodotoxin, a powerful poison, is produced naturally in puffer fish, a delicacy in Japan. While medical treatment can reduce its effect on the human body in some cases, there is no way to halt the respiratory paralysis and other symptoms associated with tetrodotoxin. How did this guy manage to get the poison in the first place? Posing as a Dr. Edmund Backer, Bachner placed an order for 98 milligrams of TTX in 2008, according to the plea agreement. When the company, a medical and chemical products distributor, informed him that such an amount was not available, Bachner requested that more be shipped to him when it became available, according to the plea agreement. “That’s a ton,” said Dr. Frank Paloucek, a professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago who is an expert in toxins. “He was buying enough to kill 98 people.” Bachner is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 8. He could face a maximum combined sentence of life in prison and a fine of up to $750,000. Maybe he was planning on collecting some other people’s life insurance too…SMH Source
