After three solid years with actor Kyle Howard, 33, the former reality starlet, 25, and her beau have called it quits, us has confirmed. Like the title of The Hills theme song, Lauren Conrad#39;s love life is still “Unwritten.” Unlike Conrad#39;s relationships in the past, she and Howard kept their romance far away from cameras. Paris Hilton and Cy Waits, her boyfriend of more than a year now, are going through a rough patch, a source close to the couple says. So is it over? Not right now. The couple are still in love, but they are figuring out if they should break up or stay together after a recent series of spats and fights . “Paris and Cy love each other a lot. They are still together right now, but they are deciding on what to do,” the source says, citing their schedules. We’ll see if Cy Waits this thing out or heads for the hills. “Paris is extremely busy running her business empire and travels a lot. Cy is based in Las Vegas, and he has a daughter in elementary school.” “He’s a very doting dad so he doesn’t like to be away from her.” That’s understandable … as are Cy’s concerns about the World According to Paris and dating someone as high profile as the ho-tel heiress. “Basically, they have hit a rough patch. Paris’ family loves Cy, and they do genuinely love each other, but things are tough at the moment.” “Cy isn’t happy about how he is being portrayed on Paris’ reality show and truthfully, I don’t know if he can deal with living in Paris’ shadow.” “Paris and Cy are taking their time and working out what to do. They want to make a mutual decision about their future,” adds the friend. They’ve been through multiple attacks and one joint arrest, and have weathered plenty of tabloid scrutiny to boot. But can they persevere? “They both want to do what is best for each of them in the end. There is no one else involved, there is no cheating is going on, period.” That’s good at least. Here’s hoping they work it out for the best.

Mediatakeout.com obtained a love letter from Shaq’s mistress Jasmine who claims to have had a long-time relationship with the Celtics star. Jasmine also claims that she “bled all over” Shaq during an intimate acts but has grown up since. Here’s the letter: My King, Remember in Phoenix you told me I was fine? With that country accent. Mmm. It was sexy because it was after the very first time I went on top. I stood there naked and it was like you were in awe. You stared at me like you saw something in me that you never saw before. I couldn’t even look at you because you were weirding me out talking about dinner lol. You made me blush; You said my smile was so pretty. Had you never noticed before? Or did something new develop that day and you were trying to let me know? Because you usually only complimented my Jordans or my jewelry. I figured that wasn’t you. You noted how clear my skin was. I told you it was just a part of growing up. Ever since that day, I’ve had this complex around you. This overwhelming feeling of needing to look and be flawless. Sometimes I fail. Remember the stories you confided in me while we ate dinner at Justin’s in Atlanta? You asked me if I would consider abortion. You asked me if I could cheat on you. You asked me my opinion of her. I removed emotions and answered objectively. Because I never wanted to let you know that each of those questions was like razors to my heart. Remember at your house, in your room when I was packing your bag for the roadtrip, your agent asked me if I wanted to marry you? You stared at me as you listened intently when I responded to his next question, “What would make me a good wife?” Ugh, the pressure! lol. I answered from my heart. I always do. When you make sweet love to me I reflect on how far I feel we’ve come. When I’m riding you and you tell me to look at you, in your eyes I see forever. When I reverse it on you, I can relax. Because the passion of looking at you in that moment is sometimes alot to bear. That intensity is a long way from times of our past. Like the times I bled all over you (sorry). I’m grown up now. And recently you learned how deep my love goes for you. And all that I am willing to do for you. Though I have an idea of where I place to you, I used to compare myself to her. Now I compare myself to the other her. & When comparing stories, shit don’t add up. I’ve heard that people treat you the way you treat yourself. Hmmm. Both a good decision and a terrible choice; I’ve been here from day 1. You even said that yourself. You have always downplayed those situations to me. You obviously care about my feelings. Just not enough. So cold. But When you told me you appreciate me and how much my downness means to you it wiped away the bad times. I was ready to move forward. I wish the dynamics of this never changed. It would make my life so much easier. In my desire to be perfect for you, I’ve learned so much about myself. I wish I wasn’t so weak. It seems you find joy in breaking me down to build me up… anytime you decide you feel like doing so. That’s not fair. And though I love you, I don’t deserve to deal with it anymore. I’m sure you don’t have faith in that statement after all this time. But that which does not kill me makes me stronger. That’s what they say. Why couldn’t you just love me the way you’re supposed to? Based on my worth? How sad that all things must come to an end. ‘After dealing with the stress of the past year, Catherine made the decision to check in to a mental health facility,’ actress’ rep says. By Jocelyn Vena Catherine Zeta-Jones Photo: Michael Buckner/ Getty Images Catherine Zeta-Jones surprised everyone on Wednesday when she went public with her battle with bipolar II disorder. The star’s rep confirmed that the Hollywood A-lister spent about five days in an unidentified facility to deal with the illness. “After dealing with the stress of the past year, Catherine made the decision to check in to a mental health facility for a brief stay to treat her bipolar II disorder,” her rep said in a statement to People.com . “She’s feeling great and looking forward to starting work this week on her two upcoming films.” Zeta-Jones and her husband, Michael Douglas , certainly have had a stressful year. Douglas underwent treatment for throat cancer last year, and in January, he appeared on the “Today” show to discuss his medical scare and tell fans that he is now cancer free. “There’s no question it’s been a stressful year,” a friend of Zeta-Jones said. “Catherine has had to deal with Michael’s illness and that’s been hard. She went in for a few days because she’s about to start working and wanted to make sure she’s in top form, which she is.” Bipolar II disorder is a form of depression characterized by episodes of major depression alternating with periods of elevated highs, also known as hypermania. Often the disorder is triggered by periods of stress and can lead to a depression that includes mood swings. Bipolar II disorder differs from bipolar I disorder in that the “up” moods never reach full-on mania, according to WebMD . Douglas and Zeta-Jones appeared at the Golden Globes earlier this year, where he commented on his recent medical challenges. “There’s got to be an easier way to get a standing ovation,” Douglas joked about his warm reception. “Thank you all very much. I’m really very, very happy to be here tonight,” he added, as Zeta-Jones looked on from the audience.
