Lauren Conrad is ringing in the new year with a very exciting announcement: She’s pregnant with her first child! The former reality star, who has turned her stint on The Hills into a solid career as an author, fashion designer and all-around lifestyle guru, woke up Sunday morning and relayed the news to her Instagram follows. She is expecting a baby with husband William Tell. And in case you don’t believe Conrad for some reason, she included a picture of a sonogram as evidence. “Happy New Year! I have a feeling 2017 is going to be the best year yet…” she wrote as a caption to the image. Check it out here: Conrad and Tell got married in 2014. She donned a Badgley Mischka couture gown for the special occasion, which took place in California and which included former co-star Lo Bosworth as a bridesmaid. The two started dating in 2013 and were together for about a year prior to exchanging vows. In a 2015 blog post, the ex-Hills and Laguna Beach actress was asked how many kids she wants to have with her husband. “Maybe two,” she wrote. “That way we aren’t outnumbered.” At only 30 years old, Conrad has plenty of time to reach this goal, of course. “My favorite thing about being married is knowing that I have a partner in life that I get to do so many wonderful things with,” Lauren once told her followers, adding: “Dreaming of the things we will do 20 years from now is so fun.” We can’t say for certain whether or not Conrad and Tell will be strong parents. But they appear to have a solid bond, never having made any celebrity gossip headline via any divorce or infidelity rumors of any kind. “William hates it when I say this, but he really is a very nice guy, and when you meet a nice guy who also manages to keep your interest, that is the dream,” Lauren previously told Cosmopolitan. “If you’re going to settle down, it should be with someone you can’t stop thinking about.” Congratulations to the happy and gorgeous couple! Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are trying for a baby. Yes, as much as the world probably thinks they would not make the finest parents, they are actually planning to create an offspring. “I am writing a coffee table wife type of book. It’s more like a fun project, something I enjoy doing and then I’m getting ready to be a mom hopefully next year,” the former reality star, 30, told Faithwire. “So that is going to be my main priority and full-time job.” It is pretty crazy to think of the two of them with a child. If you watched The Hills , you probably know they’re not the most stable couple in Hollywood. Things got so bad that they were fired from the show midway through the final season. There’s no denying that as much as The Hills was dramatic, Speidi were the most iconic characters throughout the whole experience. Lauren Conrad was great, but Speidi caused all of the drama and it made the show way more intriguing. The couple struggled to stay relevant after The Hills went off the air. Spencer was quick to blame Jersey Shore for The Hills coming to an end. He clearly didn’t realize that the show was running on fumes. Heidi also revealed that Spencer was not fond of the idea of being a father. “You know, I had to pray to get my husband to even … agree to have a kid and so this whole journey over the last few years … I have had to do.” Does this not just remind you of the time Heidi tried to get Spencer to have kids on The Hills ? That did not go down well, but it proves that at least one thing from the show was real. Heidi even chatted about how difficult it is to have kids. “You know, it’s not so easy, not everyone can just have kids whenever they want,” Montag told Faithwire. “There is a lot of hardship and prayers and certain things you have to put into that.” She went one step further and revealed how she felt about her public fall from grace. “I grew up in a small town in Colorado and I always dreamt that I would be buying Louboutins and I had a love for Vogue magazine,” she said. “[So] when I actually had an opportunity to buy those things, it was almost like … it was fun and then of course, I just got a little carried away with it.” People do get carried away, but they don’t get Heidi Montag carried away. She famously got 10 plastic surgery procedures in just one day. It got the whole world talking, but Heidi now feels that “life is really short and really temporary and when everything goes, all your money, everything you’ve built your security on, it really makes you face the reality of this life.” “So I’m really thankful I had such a public fall and I spent all my money and everything because it made me remember what I care about and what is important to me and to rebuild,” she concluded. “Because of God, I was able to rebuild and refocus.” Say what you want about Heidi, but she sounds like she’s matured a lot. Audrina Patridge has moved on from her days on The Hills . The 31-year-old gave birth to her first child with Corey Bohan three months ago. The new addition to the family is named Kirra. Audrina was a prominent figure on MTV’s The Hills . So much so that she actually appeared in more episodes than any other cast member. Throughout her time on the show, she clashed with many of the stars. It made for great TV, but she has now moved on to focus on her family. Did Audrina know that Casey was taking the picture? We’re not quite sure. Audrina opened up about her daughter in a recent blog post and she made it perfectly clear that she’s a great mother. “We are so incredibly lucky! Courtney Stodden's had it rough lately. After an unsuccessful stint on Lifetime's The Mother/Daughter Experiment: Celebrity Edition , Stodden announced in May that she was expecting her first child with husband Dough Hutchison. “It's a bittersweet time for me right now. I'm dealing with a lot of stress and emotions surrounding life and its ups and downs,” Stodden explained. “Doug and I weren't planning on going public with this so soon. I’m only four weeks along in my pregnancy. But some things are out of your control.” Two months later, Stodden's rep confirmed that the 21-year-old suffered a miscarriage. Since then, Stodden has shared her emotional roller coaster with fans on Instagram, and shaved her head last weekend as a symbolic gesture to her baby. Still reeling from the loss, Stodden took to Instagram yesterday to chew out Brody Jenner , who insulted her during The Hills reunion. When asked who would play Stephanie Pratt on a movie version of the popular show, Jenner offered up Courtney Stodden. “That's what you get, Stephanie for talking sh–,” Jenner teased after Pratt said Keanu Reeves should play the DJ. Stodden was not amused. “Oh my God, don’t even get me started on that Brody Jenner. He’s an a**hole, seriously,” Stodden, wearing short shorts, a red bra and matching turban, said. “One, he’s derogatory toward women. Beauty and the Beast looks like it's going to be a good movie! The upcoming movie boasts a cast that includes Emma Watson, Ian McKellen, Ewan McGregor and Emma Thompson. Emma Watson is poised to be a delight in the role of Belle, but it seems like the Belle in this tale is quite a bit older than the one from the fairytales. Could this make for a much darker adaptation this time round? What we do know is that Watson's Belle will be taken prisoner in the castle by Dan Steven's beast. The teaser doesn't give much away. Seriously, at 90 seconds we'd have expected more. It succeeds in setting up the look of the film, but that's about it. We only get to see Belle for a small portion of it. Disney are obviously trying to keep some elements of the movie under wraps. Might this be addressed when the full trailer drops? We're probably in for a long wait considering the movie won't be opening until March 2017. Everyone loves a good love story, but it is pretty odd that the movie is coming out just weeks after Valentine's Day. It's clear they know they have a hit on their hands. It's a still a long way off, but we're expecting great things from this one. With that cast alone, how could it possibly go wrong? Here's hoping it doesn't turn into the mess that Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice turned out to be. That movie had a great cast, sucked on so many levels. What did you think of the trailer?
