He thinks Obama’s the ‘greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people’. Too bad we think he’s finally lost his marbles . “President [Barack] Obama is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people,” Eastwood told the paper. “[Mitt] Romney and [Paul] Ryan would do a much better job running the country, and that’s what everybody needs to know. I may have irritated a lot of the lefties, but I was aiming for people in the middle.” Eastwood sounded far from defensive over criticism of his self-described “very unorthodox” speaking style, freely admitting, “I really don’t know how to” give a traditional public address. He added: “That’s what happens when you don’t have a written-out speech.” In his opinion, Eastwood said his critics in the media “are obviously on the left” and would be critical of him no matter what he said. As for Eastwood’s fans? Well, not all of them loved the speech, but it doesn’t seem to have changed their affection for the Academy Award winner. “They’ve got this crazy actor who’s 82 years old up there in a suit,” Eastwood said. “I was a mayor, and they’re probably thinking I know how to give a speech, but even when I was mayor I never gave speeches. I gave talks.” As for his now infamous conversation with an empty chair, Eastwood says he came up with the idea just moments before taking the stage. “There was a stool there, and some fella kept asking me if I wanted to sit down,” Eastwood said. “When I saw the stool sitting there, it gave me the idea. I’ll just put the stool out there, and I’ll talk to Mr. Obama and ask him why he didn’t keep all of the promises he made to everybody.” Right…we’re still confused why the heads over in Republican land thought Mr. Burns Clint was the best choice. You already know about all of the violence going down in Chi-town; and we reported the Twitter beef that broke out earlier this week between Lupe and Chief Keef . What’s unfortunate is the back and forth shook up Lupe and, while he tweeted some more positivity, he also let the world know that he’s ready to bow out…for good. In case you didn’t know, 17-year-old Chief Keef signed a record deal with Interscope Records earlier this summer that, according to the Chicago Tribune includes: life rights for a biopic, a line of headphones labeled “Beats by Keef” and, the kicker for any artist, his own label to issue records of other artists which made him the youngest label head ever. Chief Keef Celebrates Rapper’s Death Chicago is just a mess right now . Kids are getting gunned down left and right and there doesn’t seem to be any hope in sight. To make matters worse, even the young rappers are seemingly hopeless. Sixteen-year-old Chief Keef has had some beef with a rapper named Lil Jojo. After Jojo shot a diss record and a video confronting Keef’s homie, Jojo ended up gunned down. Sadly, Keef and his buddies reacted with gloating tweets about the teen’s death. The good folks at Complex dug up some info on the whole situation which is pretty hard to look at. This is all very sad to see. Take a look at the tweets and see how the tragedy unfolded. In addition to the above mentioned causes, LudaDay Weekend has also partnered with the local organization, Charles McCree Presents: Project Walk A Mile In My Shoes, to collect donations of new and slightly used shoes and sneakers to be collected at the Ludacris (Team Luda) vs. Kevin Hart (Team Hart) Celebrity Basketball Game on Sunday, September 2nd, at Morehouse Forbes Arena. The collected shoes will be donated to the following Atlanta-based organizations; Hosea Feed The Hungry, ENBA CAMP & YouthTakeBack, and My Sister’s House women’s shelter for abused women. Since its inception in 2008, Project Walk A Mile in My Shoes has collected over 7,000 pairs of shoes for several organizations including The Boys & Girls Club, It’s Cool To Be Smart, My Sister’s House and Hosea Feed the Hungry. Devastating news keeps coming in from Louisiana and its surrounding counties down South. The aftermath of Hurricane Isaac hasn’t been on the news waves too much because of the distraction of Money Mitts RNC but there are millions of people in need tonight. With the remnants of Hurricane Isaac retreating from the Gulf Coast north, leaving massive devastation in their wake, piles of dead nutria–large semiacquatic rodents–have been spotted littering the shore in Waveland, Mississippi, on Friday. But perhaps one of the most striking images to have come out of the natural disaster was the sight of tombstones and caskets from an above-ground cemetery floating among the debris.
