I used to go to raves, I was never a die hard raver, I just liked being able to drink amongst underage girls on drugs until 10 in the morning, which is exactly what I did…usually laughing at their weird geek, love for each other and fun fur pants…it was the 90s, electronic music was nerd music…and the mainstream were shopping at GAP and listening to I don’t even know what… Now…the mainstream has crossed over to rave, and all these bro frat boys who would have been fucking each other in the locker room wearing their khaki shorts are rolling on MDMA to rave music, wearing neon shirts…and the whole thing is fucking weird.. But not as weird as Ultra Music Festival, that used to be called WMC in the late 90s, but now is just fucking ULTRA…blasting everyone who jokingly wrote them asking for Beiber to be a headliner at their festival…last year…tunring around and booking Bieber to headline the even this year… Because Beiber knows EDM is the new pop music…and the EDM dudes know BELIEBERS will make them all rich…and the whole thing is and was cheesy as fuck, only now I realize I should have stuck to the rave, to capitalize on the rave, but more importantly to stare at Ariana Grande’s ass…. Eric Garner’s Daughter Visits Memorial For Slain NYPD Officers Despite tensions increasing between the NYPD and NYC residents following the recent murders of two NYPD police officers, Eric Garner’s daughter wants the public to know that the police are not the enemy in the eyes of her family. via Gawker Earlier today, Eric Garner’s daughter visited the memorial for Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos, the two NYPD officers killed on Saturday. “I just had to come out and let their family know that we stand with them, and I’m going to send my prayers and condolences to all the families who are suffering through this tragedy,” Emerald Garner told ABC News. “I don’t feel conflicted because I was never anti-police,” Garner, whose unarmed father was choked to death by an NYPD officer this summer, added. “Like I said before, I have family that’s in the NYPD that I’ve grown up around, family reunions and everything so my family you know, we’re not anti-police.” This was such an honorable and humble thing for Eric Garner’s daughter to do and kudos to her for stating the message that the mainstream media is working to overshadow, which is that most people are not anti-police, however, we should ALL be anti-injustice.
