Which is why this news is so, so heartbreaking: China’s Ministry of Public Security has announced that it caught a group of meat traders selling rat , fox, and mink meat as lamb. Gross. China is famously riddled with food-related scandals, with the Ministry trying to project a proactive image in the wake of this latest one. 63 arrests were made in connection to the scandal. Needless to say you should continue to use actual lamb in your lamb recipes .
