Glee plans tribute to the Bieber

It was bound to happen so I might as well just get it over with. Glee is planning a Justin Bieber themed episode. There I said it. This might be the least surprising news I’ve heard all month. I have nothing against the kid, truly I don’t. Okay so yeah his hair bothers me, and the one song I’ve heard of his…”Baby…something”…grates on my last gay nerve in a way that makes blood pour from my eyes. But I’m almost 40 and soooooo not his demographic so the producers of Glee don’t care much what I think about it. What they do care about is the literal army of tween girls (and some boys) are going to have a proverbial cow over this, as well they should. And more power to them. I remember when I used to have cows…totally. Is it just me or does he look like Shaun Cassidy in that photo? Da doo run run run run da doo run run. This episode is rumored to be planned for February 15, just in time for Valentines Day and the release of Justin’s new movie Never Say Never , which hits a multiplex near you on February 11th. And never say never, I might actually enjoy it. Glee has been known to endear me to music that I didn’t like the first time around. So I’ll keep an open mind. And even if I don’t, I doubt the Bieber Army will lose much sleep over it. That having been said, my boy Puck is not going to be happy about this.

Charles Krauthammer Rips Liberal Media for Being Obsessed with Sarah Palin

Charles Krauthammer on Friday tore into the liberal media for being obsessed with former Alaska governor Sarah Palin. After Krauthammer scolded the “editorial judgment” of the producers of PBS's “Inside Washington” for week after week prominently displaying her as the “only representative of conservatism of any importance” in this nation, the Washington Post's Colby King proved his point (video follows with transcript and commentary): read more

Ali Fedotowsky: Betrayed By Frank Neuschaefer!

Ali Fedotowsky has already been betrayed on The Bachelorette this season. Fortunately, Rated R (Justin Rego) and his cheating ways were exposed relatively early. Unfortunately, she won’t be so lucky with Frank Neuschaefer, one of her final three … or the producers of the ABC reality series, who set her up for heartbreak. That’s according to In Touch Weekly, yes. But there’s something to it. By now, whether you read The Bachelorette spoilers or not, you’ve likely seen previews for next week and know that Frank is about to drop a bomb on our girl. That bomb is his ex-girlfriend, Nicole Caruso, with whom he’s reunited after blatantly ditching Ali despite wooing her all these weeks … it’s simply heartbreaking. Even more so? That the producers were in on it. Monday on The Bachelorette, Frank Neuschaefer will break Ali’s heart/ According to reports, Frank didn’t exactly pull a Justin and use Ali Fedotowsky for publicity. He really liked her, but genuinely loved Nicole and wanted to reconcile. “Frank didn’t think they would fall in love,” a source tells In Touch . “He followed his heart and did what was best for him – and ultimately what’s best for Ali, too.” He considered Ali his girlfriend, says a source, and when producers refused to let him break up with Ali properly, they set the star up for even more heartbreak. “They betrayed her,” says the source. How? That remains to be seen. But months after that fateful night in Tahiti, Frank and Nicole were seen on a romantic date in Chicago. Follow the jump to see: Ali who? Frank puts the moves on Nicole Caruso . Who should Ali choose on The Bachelorette?

Judge Agrees to Hear Jersey Shore Lawsuit

A judge in, well, New Jersey has agreed to hear a case against the producers of Jersey Shore , who are accused of profiting off fights provoked deliberately for MTV’ s cameras. The claim was brought on behalf of three plaintiffs involved in drunken throwdowns with Ronnie Magro; the judge will eventually determine if the producers conduct “violated New Jersey’s racketeering statute.” Racketeering! A new Jersey Shore milestone. This calls for a binge drink. [ AP ]

What’s On: My Name’s Chuck Bass, and I Came to Get Down

Chuck Bass is stirring up more frosty, lip-puckery problems in the new Gossip Girl . But better yet, the producers set Ed Westwick’s character up for disappointment by naming the episode after a “Bass” pun gone horribly wrong.

Stacy Keibler Is Out Of My League

Here’s my soon to be Twitter girlfriend Stacy Keibler , looking as hot as ever, at the premiere of the new movie She’s Out Of My League . We don’t see her at many premieres so I find it kind of odd that she would choose this movie to go see, like she’s trying to tell me something. Interesting and uncalled for all at once and I’m going to choose to ignore her subtleties. Wait, who’s that dude? He better be one of the producers just trying to get his face on the interweb or our Twittermance or Twitterfair or whatever you want to call it is over. I don’t mean that, I’m drunk, take me back.

CNN & The OxyContin Express: They reported, you decide

This morning I woke to a bunch of messages regarding the similarities between a report on CNN last night and “The OxyContin Express.” I frankly think it would be petty of me in face of the Florida’s problems and the overall tragic human cost of prescription drug abuse to quibble over the shots, style, substance, or even scarf that people are referencing. I’ve been in this business long enough to know that these things happen.
