Well, they can now breathe a collective sigh of relief. Breezy has left the building…for good! According to TMZ reports : Chris Brown is waving the white flag, because we found out he moved out of the West Hollywood condo in which he was at war with his neighbors. Brown’s neighbors were complaining bitterly that he was parking in handicapped spots, playing music at ear-shattering levels at all hours of the night and even defacing property. Brown has denied committing any misdeeds. Neighbors tell us …. they’re “ecstatic” to see him go … but Chris has not sold the unit, and we don’t know his plans. Damn Chris, don’t let them white folks run you out of ya own home!! Speaking of “Oh Happy Day” this is always good for a laugh…
Wait, what?!? Police in Smithfield say they may have to stop investigating misdemeanors and ignore some 911 calls if town leaders don’t provide more gas money. The News & Observer of Raleigh reports (http://bit.ly/sbcKKm ) that Police Chief Michael Scott will make the proposals Tuesday to the town council. Town leaders asked Scott to find an alternative to shifting $30,000 from the supply budget to paying for gas. This better just be a negotiating tactic, because there will be hell to pay if these muhfuggas think they are just gonna stop answering calls! Source
With these kids having sex younger and younger (and with teachers) nowadays, sounds like a good idea… The American Academy of Pediatrics now recommends that all teens 16 to 18 years old receive regular, routine HIV tests if they live in an area where the prevalence of HIV is greater than 0.1% of the population. The AAP also advises that adolescents of any age who are tested for other sexually transmitted infections also be tested for HIV. Previous guidelines recommended HIV testing only for teens who admitted to being sexually active. The new recommendations were outlined in a position paper released Monday that also advocates that the routine screening be done using a rapid response test that gives a diagnosis about 20 minutes after the test is conducted. “We’re finding that when targeted testing is offered to sexually active youth… we’re not getting those youth to actually test and we have not decreased the number of new infections in [that] population,” says Dr. Jaime Martinez, an adolescent medicine specialist with Stroger Hospital of Cook County in Chicago. He deals with HIV-infected youth daily and is one of the authors of the AAP paper. In 2006, there were more than 1.1 million HIV-positive people living in the United States. Of that population, the CDC says 5% were adolescents and young adults, ages 13 to 24 years old. That may seem like a small overall percentage but consider this: Upwards of 70% of new HIV infections are caused by people of all ages who are unaware of their HIV-positive status. Roughly one of every two HIV-infected adolescents don’t know they’re positive. Although there may be some parents who aren’t comfortable with this idea, the doctors are hoping that this practice will ultimately lead to better, more health-conscious decisions. “I can’t think of a downside [to testing],” says Martinez. “We find that youth who test and become aware of whether they’re affected… become more conscious about engaging in safer sex practices.” Are you comfortable with your 16 year-old son or daughter to get HIV tested a few times a year? She was NOT fawkin’ around!!! Florida woman was arrested after allegedly attacking her father because he wouldn’t give her potato salad. Flagler County authorities charged Karen Henry with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for the Oct. 22 incident. According to police reports obtained by CBS Tampa, Henry became enraged when her 80-year-old father told her that she could not have any of his potato salad while he was eating dinner. Henry then grabbed a large kitchen knife, threatening her father with it. She waved the knife at him several times. According to the report, the elderly man grabbed a chair to defend himself so he could call authorities. Police say that while they were transporting Henry, she began complaining of abdominal pain. After her treatment at Florida Hospital Flagler, deputies overheard her on the phone asking her father to drop the charges. Another charge of tampering with a victim was added against her. Come one, come all, Moammar Gadhafi has taken a fall… Moammar Gadhafi’s blood-streaked body was on display in a commercial freezer at a shopping center as Libyan authorities argued about what to do with his remains and questions deepened over official accounts of the longtime dictator’s death. Also Friday, new video emerged of his violent, chaotic last moments, showing fighters beating him as they drag him away. Nearly every aspect of Thursday’s killing of Gadhafi was mired in confusion, a sign of the difficulties ahead for Libya. Its new rulers are disorganized, its people embittered and divided. But the ruling National Transitional Council said it would declare the country’s liberation on Saturday, the starting point for a timetable that calls for a new interim government within a month and elections within eight months. The top U.N. rights chief raised concerns that Gadhafi may have been shot to death after being captured alive. The fate of his body seemed tied up in squabbles among Libya’s factions, as fighters from Misrata — a city brutally besieged by Gadhafi’s forces during the civil war — seemed to claim ownership of it, forcing the delay of a planned burial Friday. In Misrata, residents crowded into long lines to get a chance to view the body of Gadhafi, which was laid out on a mattress on the floor of an emptied-out vegetable and onions freezer at a local shopping center. The body had apparently been stowed in the freezer in an attempt to keep it out of the public eye, but once the location was known, that intention was swept away in the overwhelming desire of residents to see the man they so deeply despised. Men, women and children filed in to take their picture with the body. The site’s guards had even organized separate visiting hours for families and single men. “We want to see the dog,” some chanted. Gadhafi’s 69-year-old body was stripped to the waist, his torso and arms streaked with dried blood. Bullet wounds in the chest, abdomen and left side of the head were visible. Finally, Rayon MacIntosh speaks his piece… A McDonald’s cashier who swapped Happy Meals for jail fare after an ugly fast-food fight says he was goaded by a foul-mouthed customer who threatened to cut him up. Rayon McIntosh, in an exclusive Rikers Island interview with the Daily News, said yesterday that he only smacked the woman and her friend with a metal bar after they jumped the counter and attacked him. The first patron “started getting really aggressive,” said McIntosh, giving his version of the brawl for the first time. “She came in angry,” he said. “I tried to keep things calm as best I could.” The ex-con, who served about a decade on a manslaughter rap, said his Oct. 13 shift at the Greenwich Village eatery was uneventful before his two tormenters arrived. “I was not looking for trouble,” said McIntosh, 31, wearing a crisp gray jail outfit. “The trouble found me. People are portraying me as a vicious attacker. “I was just working at my job when I was attacked for no reason. I’m not a heartless person.” We TOTALLY get it that Mr. MacIntosh was attacked, cursed, and disrespected. Without question he has a right to defend himself from the two crazy beyotches that hopped the counter to catch fade, however, beating them over and over after they had hit the ground and fracturing a skull is a LITTLE overkill. While we hope that he isn’t imprisoned for 10 years, if he gets 2-3, we will understand. What say you?? Source
