Bobbi Kristina: Brain Function Worsens Bobby Brown remains at daughter Bobbi Kristina’s side this afternoon, but the news he and the rest of the family is receiving is pretty bleak. Doctors are not very confident in her vital signs, as her brain function is steadily diminishing while in her medically-induced coma . Via TMZ : Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina has “significantly diminished” brain function and doctors have told her family it does not look good … this according to sources connected with the family. As we previously reported, the 21-year-old was found face down in her bathtub Saturday and not breathing. She was revived, taken to the hospital where she was placed in a medically-induced coma. She is currently on a ventilator but we’re told tests have determined her brain function is alarmingly low. Bobbi Kristina’s dad, Bobby Brown, is at her bedside. Doctors have told the family they should continue hoping and praying, but the signs are not good. Wow. Are Andi Dorfman and her ex-fiance Josh Murray fighting on Twitter? Both of them sent cryptic tweets recently that would certainly imply as much. On Friday, Josh Murray tweeted that he was having technical problems due to somebody snooping around his various social media accounts. “Have to change all my passwords because someone keeps logging into my social media accounts SMH,” wrote The Bachelorette winner. Without responding directly to her ex, Andi Dorfman tweeted less than 10 minutes later with a rather obvious slam directed towards Murray: “Join the club… Got better things to do with my life #blessed” Ooooh. The ex-baseball star also said that he was in his native Florida with family, a frequent occurrence since Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray broke up . “But on a brighter note, how amazing is Tampa!? So happy to be back for Gasparilla and for my dads bday weekend, whoop whoop,” Josh wrote. You don’t need The Bachelor spoilers to tell you the show rarely produces lasting unions, as it’s an uphill battle once the cameras stop rolling. Dorfman and Murray were no exception to the rule. Despite being a seemingly perfect pairing on paper, they ended their engagement in a joint January 8 statement, days after The Bachelor premiere. “After several months of being engaged and working on our relationship, we have decided that it’s best for both of us to go our separate ways,” the duo said. Following their shockingly abrupt split, the two spent time apart, with Dorfman coping with the help of her friends and Josh with his mom (obviously). We have an update on the sad situation surrounding Bobbi Kristina Brown. As previously reported, the only child of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston was discovered unresponsive in a bathtub inside her home on Saturday. Her husband and a friend performance CPR and called 911 before paramedics arrived and transported Bobbi Kristina to a Georgia hospital. Here is what we can now add to this troubling story: Bobbi Kristina was found face down in the bathtub. She is now breathing, but doctors have placed her in a medically-induced coma. Physicians are yet to determine a cause for what happened. Hours after the incident took place, authorities searched Brown’s home. No drugs or other illicit substances were found on the premises. Many, of course, feared a drug overdose at first and not unreasonably, given that Bobbi Kristina has battled substance abuse issues in the past. There was talk of Brown entering rehab not long after her mother passed away , a tragic event that took place nearly three years ago to the day (on February 11, 2012). Tracey Edmonds Talks New Movie “With This Ring” And Black Actresses In Lead Roles Earlier this week, we caught up with always-fab executive producer Tracey Edmonds to chat about her latest television movie “With This Ring.” Among other things, Tracey opened up with her thoughts on the increased presence of black actresses in lead roles on television, having an all-black female cast in the movie and her boo Deion Sanders’ acting skills . Check out a little of what she had to say below: On the increased presence of African-American actresses in lead roles: I think that we have made some strides. And so the blessings are that you see a lot more African-American females, especially on television in leading roles. And that’s amazing to see. Kerry Washington in “Scandal,” Viola Davis in “How to Get Away With Murder,” Alfre Woodard, you know, also on another network show, Taraji Henson. So I mean we do see a lot more African-American women in empowered and in leading roles. And so I’m very, very excited about that. we’ve made some strides. On the challenges for African-American actors in Hollywood: The challenges are still the lack of slots for what I’d call all African-American casted films where basically your entire cast is African-American….or [telling] African-American stories. There is still a long way to go, especially on the theatrical side of things. There are only a couple slots a year, you know, for urban films versus the hundreds of slots that are available for mainstream films. So we still have a long ways to go, you know, in that arena. For example like, “ With this Ring,” all of our leads are African American women. But that is still pretty rare to see. So it’s a blessing that Lifetime is creating slots to allow these types of stories to be told because these types of stories, even though you have African-American casting, the scenes are still relatable across the board. There are still fabulous women of all colors that are still single, that are still dealing with the dynamics that we’re exploring in the story. On how she’d rate boyfriend Deion Sanders’ acting cameo in the film: Oh I rate it a 10. He came in and he did his thing and he did not disappoint at all. He played the heck out of that role. I mean we were all left kind of wishing that we had a little bit more because his character was so much fun. “With This Ring” was also co-produced by actress Gabrielle Union and stars Regina Hall, Eve and Jill Scott. Snoop Dogg Welcomes First Grandson Can you picture Snoop as a granddaddy ? Snoop’s oldest, Corde, just welcomed his first son Zion into the world making the rapper a grandfather for the very first time. Via NYDN : Just call him Grandpa Snoop. Rapper Snoop Dogg’s eldest son, Corde Broadus, 21, welcomed a baby boy to the world over the weekend and Snoop could not be happier. The “Gin & Juice” singer took to Instagram to share his joy over the new addition to his family. “Proud grandad. My son spank n grandson Zion !! Jah bless,” Snoop captioned a video of the little bundle of joy. “Zion. U have a lot of love WAitn on u grandson !!” he wrote along with a photo collage of snaps of Zion at the hospital. This is the first grandson for Snoop, 43, who is father to three sons and a daughter. Corde shared a video of his first born just one day after his entry to the world: Aww, how sweet!
