Can justice be served in this sad case? Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster’s 11-year-old son Kile Glover died tragically after being held on life support for two weeks following a jet ski accident. However, his untimely death may bring more serious charges to the man responsible. Usher’s stepson Kile Glover died on Saturday July 21 after being hit by a jet ski, driven by family friend Jeffrey Hubbard, on July 7. Jeffrey may face serious charges now that Kile, 11, has died. An investigation into the accident is moving forward at this point, according to TMZ . The Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Wildlife Resources Division says they will take into account Kile’s death when they make their recommendation to the District Attorney. The report is allegedly still coming together and there is no foreseeable timetable on when the investigation will be complete. It isn’t yet known when the investigation will be completed. It looks like the search for Katherine Jackson can be called off. A few hours after police were told this family matriarch was missing , with many relatives – including 14-year old Paris Jackson – calling for information on the 82-year old’s location, Jermaine Jackson posted a long message on Twitter that explained the situation. “Let me put to bed today’s nonsense: as I made clear some days ago, Mother is safe and well in Arizona with her daughter and our sister, Rebbie, resting up on doctor’s advice, so it is beyond me how she can be reported ‘missing,’ the singer wrote. Jermaine continued, putting to bed all claims of a controversy or cover-up: “This incredulous claim was made for reasons best known to the adult/s who filed it but it seems no accident that it comes after we, the sons and daughters, put in place care-taking for our own mother, taking her to Arizona in line with doctor’s advice following a check-up. “Furthermore, it dismays me that such an alarmist ‘missing person’ report has caused unnecessary anxiety among Michael’s children who will understandably react to what they misunderstand, hear or are told. “No-one is being ‘blocked’ from speaking with Mother. She is merely an 82-year-old woman following doctor’s orders to rest-up and de-stress, away from phones and computers. Tragic news today for Usher and his estranged ex-wife, Tameka Foster: Kyle Glover , Tameka’s 11-year old son from a previous relationship, has been taken off life support and has passed away two weeks after suffering irreversible brain damage in a jet skiing accident. The fatal injury occurred on Lake Lanier in Atlanta on July 8, as Kyle was riding on an inner tube when he was struck by a passer-by in a jet ski. That individual is named Jeffrey S. Hubbard and is in under investigation for his actions. Doctors quickly determined that Kyle was medically brain dead and he had been on life support in the hospital until this morning. The tragedy took place while Usher and Foster were engaged in a contentious custody fight for the two kids they share. But that court battle has now taken a backseat to the sad circumstances surrounding Glover. We send our thoughts and prayer to his family.
For the time time since the deadly Colorado shooting that took 12 lives, someone associated with The Dark Knight Rises has spoken out. And that someone is director Christopher Nolan. “Speaking on behalf of the cast and crew of The Dark Knight Rises , I would like to express our profound sorrow at the senseless tragedy that has befallen the entire Aurora community,” Nolan said, adding: “I would not presume to know anything about the victims of the shooting, but that they were there last night to watch a movie. “I believe movies are one of the great American art forms and the shared experience of watching a story unfold on screen is an important and joyful pastime. The movie theatre is my home, and the idea that someone would violate that innocent and hopeful place in such an unbearably savage way is devastating to me. Nothing any of us can say could ever adequately express our feelings for the innocent victims of this appalling crime, but our thoughts are with them and their families.” James Holmes is in custody for the crime, which tragically took place just miles from the 1999 school shooting incident in Columbine, Colorado.

Rick Calamaro, the former assistant and close friend of Charlie Sheen’s who many believed took part in the actor’s past drug binges, has been found dead. As first reported by TMZ, Calamaro’s body was found in his Los Angeles apartment yesterday, although it’s believed he’d been deceased for many days. Moreover, according to authorities, “numerous pain medications and an open bottle of alcohol,” were also found at the scene. Calamaro was a club promoter who befriended the actor many years ago. He accompanied Sheen to New York City for the infamous October 2010 incident with Capri Anderson at the Plaza Hotel, where police were called, Anderson ended up locked in a bathroom and Sheen ended up in the hospital. No word yet from Sheen’s camp, but our thoughts go out to Calamaro’s family.
‘What I need everyone to do is go see ‘Battleship’ now that they’ve seen ‘Avengers’ five times,’ Berg tells MTV News of sequel chances. Iron Man, Captain America and the rest of the gang didn’t just destroy the extraterrestrial threat in their movie, either — they also sunk the aliens of “Battleship” without even knowing it. “Battleship” director Peter Berg spoke with MTV News recently about his thoughts on the box-office earnings of his latest big-budget blockbuster. The Hasbro adaptation has earned $235 million overseas, but only $63 million at the domestic box office — an outcome Berg pins on the outstanding success of “Marvel’s The Avengers.” “The movie kicked butt internationally, but we kind of ran into a wall when ‘Avengers’ refused to go away,” he told MTV News. ” ‘The Avengers’ outperformed everything. It was impossible for ‘Battleship’ to get any oxygen.” Asked if he would do anything differently with the “Battleship” release knowing what he knows now, Berg had one idea in mind. “I would have loved to have come out three weeks before ‘The Avengers’ domestically, like we did internationally,” he said. “We did OK, but in hindsight — which my grandmother used to say is worth about a bucket of spit — we would have [released the movie] ahead of ‘The Avengers,’ not realizing it would have become, I think, the second biggest film in history behind ‘Avatar.’ ” “Avengers” is actually the third-highest-grossing film of all time behind “Titanic,” but who’s counting? Berg is. When asked if he’d be interested in filming a “Battleship” sequel, he had a numbers-oriented answer in mind. “What I need everyone to do is go see ‘Battleship’ now that they’ve seen ‘Avengers’ five times. If they do that, we can definitely make a sequel,” he said. ” ‘Battleship’ is a film that I would definitely like to do a sequel to. I loved making that film. Fans are chomping down on their leather belts of choice in anticipation of the live-action take on Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele — indeed, the dream casting calls are already pouring out with no signs of slowing . With so many iconic scenes already in the making, it’s almost impossible to ask fans to pick only one that they’re most excited to see— but for some “Fifty Shades” readers, the decision is a no-painer. “The scene I would like to see the most on the big screen is the elevator scene,” fan Sean Barnett told MTV News during a “Fifty Shades of Grey” signing at Barnes & Noble in New York’s Union Square last month. Fellow fan Morgan Nazarzideh had to agree: “When the movie comes out, I’m waiting for the elevator scene to happen. It’s pretty much my favorite part.” They weren’t alone in their requests for a raunchy elevator scene, but that wasn’t the only moment fans are pining for.
