Kanye West And Game Collabos ‘Tainted’ By Amber Rose Disses

‘He said he was gonna give me some beats, but he never did,’ Game says on ‘RapFix Live,’ speculating that lyrics may have upset ‘Ye. By Rob Markman, with reporting by Sway Calloway Game Photo: MTV News Game and Kanye West have had quite the chemistry in the studio. But after producing a song on each of Game’s first three albums, the Louis Vuitton Don will not be supplying any music for the West Coast rapper’s upcoming The R.E.D. Album and that may be Game’s fault. “I dunno, I think I dissed Amber Rose while she was with [Kanye] and I think that kinda tainted our relationship a little bit,” Game told Sway on Wednesday’s “RapFix Live” after he was asked when he’d be working with Yeezy again. “I reached out to Kanye at the beginning of the album and I seen him in L.A. He said he was gonna give me some beats, but he never did,” the Compton MC said. “I didn’t take it personal, I got nothing but love for ‘Ye and the things that we did in the past.” The pair first collaborated when West hooked up the beat for “Dreams,” a single off of Game’s 2005 debut, The Documentary. The two then got together again on “Wouldn’t Get Far,” the model-dissing track off Game’s second album, The Doctor’s Advocate, and completed the hat trick in 2008 with “Angel” on the former G-Unit member’s L.A.X. LP. But when the rapper drops The R.E.D. Album on August 23, the streak will end. While Game admitted to some wrongdoing — throwing shots at Yeezy’s former squeeze while the two were together — he insisted that he never directly disrespected Kanye. “I never shoot shots at Kanye, and if I do, it’s always competitive and I’ll clean it up on the next bar because I got a lot of love and a lot of respect for him.” Game also says he isn’t hard-pressed for a Kanye track or feature. “What I’m saying is, I’m not waking up begging to work with Kanye, number one, but if it happens it happens; if it don’t, it don’t.” Sway then asked whether Game’s persistent barbs at Jay-Z had anything to do with the distance between him and Kanye, considering the two are dropping their collaborative Watch the Throne album . Game didn’t think that was a factor, noting that Kanye and Jay have always had a close relationship, and Game has been baiting Hov for years. “I’ve been shooting shots at Jay from the beginning, but worked with ‘Ye throughout,” the Dr. Dre prot

Jay-Z And Kanye West Shuffle Watch the Throne Tour Dates

‘We pushed it back to really route it and put other dates on there,’ Jay says of pushing launch to October. By Rob Markman Kanye West and Jay-Z Photo: Getty Images Fans eager to experience Watch the Throne live are going to have to wait an extra month before they can see Jay-Z and Kanye West in concert. On Tuesday morning, Live Nation started a pre-sale for the WTT Tour, but the original run, which was set to begin on September 22 in Detroit, is no longer. Instead Yeezy and Hov will now kick things off on October 29 in Atlanta, Georgia. The original 24-date tour is now slated for 17 stops, but Live Nation’s website says that more dates will be announced soon. The October 29 Atlanta date was in fact on the original schedule, as was the October 30, Greensboro, North Carolina, date and the November 1 show in Baltimore. The remaining concerts are all rescheduled. Look back at the events leading up to Watch the Throne ‘s August 8 release. There is still no New York City date on paper yet, though Hov confirmed that there will be one during a radio interview with Hot 97’s Angie Martinez on Monday, when he also denied rumors of a feud between him and Kanye . The Throne will stop at the nearby Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey, for two nights and will also land in West’s hometown of Chicago on December 1. “That’s an old list we had to push that back, because it was like, we tried to put it out in pre-order and all the lines got jammed,” Jay told Martinez in the interview as she read off the tour’s original dates. “We pushed it back to really route it and put other dates on there. We’ll probably put four New York dates there instead.” Check out exclusive photos of Jay-Z and Kanye West in the studio. As of now, the last date on the schedule is across the northern border on December 18 in Vancouver. In the radio interview, Jay said that he and Kanye hadn’t worked out the performance details and couldn’t confirm who would hit the stage when or how the two would interact. “We hadn’t worked out those details yet but considerable time will be spent onstage together,” he said. Miley Cyrus Defends Gay Rights Tattoo

Cyrus tweeted a photo of her equal-sign tattoo over the weekend, prompting debate among fans regarding gay rights. By Jocelyn Vena Miley Cyrus’ new equal rights tattoo Photo: Miley Cyrus’ Twitter Miley Cyrus has never shied away from speaking her mind, and over the weekend she posted a photo of her latest body ink on Twitter : an equal-sign tattoo on her middle finger. In addition to sharing with the world her pro-gay rights stance via tat, she tweeted the message, “All LOVE is equal.” However, the photo quickly prompted a debate on her Twitter account when fans began to respond to Miley’s tattoo with mixed feelings. “Where does it say in the bible to judge others? Oh right. It doesn’t,” Miley tweeted to one fan who questioned her belief in God after displaying her support of the gay community. “GOD is the only judge honey. GOD is love.” But when her fans began attacking the fan who questioned her, Miley defended her for sharing her opinion with the world. “Dude everyone lay off … Love u! Everyone is entitled 2 opinions! If u don’t stand 4 something you’ll fall for anything.” Her Twitter profile shares a similar message: “Let your light shine. Be a source of strength & courage. Share your wisdom. RADIATE LOVE.” This isn’t the first time that Miley’s sharing her beliefs on Twitter has sparked debate. In a Parade magazine interview in March 2010, Cyrus said that one of the reasons she had quit Twitter for a time was that she was getting angry tweets from fans who didn’t agree with her support of gay marriage. She returned to Twitter earlier this year. “There has been so much controversy sometimes about what I’ve said or done because I believe there are no mistakes, because God is the only one who can judge us,” Cyrus explained. “That’s the reason I deleted my Twitter account because I said on there that I believed in gay marriage because everyone should have the right to love each other, and I got such hate mail about my being a bad person.” What do you think of Miley’s outspoken support of marriage equality and gay rights? Jay-Z And Kanye’s Watch The Throne Countdown Begins!

With just a week to go until its long-awaited release, we look back on the year-long journey to the Throne. By Rob Markman Kanye West and Jay-Z Photo: Getty Images The wait is almost over. On August 8, Jay-Z and Kanye West (now collectively known as the Throne ) will drop their long-awaited, full-length album Watch the Throne on iTunes as a digital exclusive, with physical retailers to follow on August 12. It was August 2010 when Kanye first sent the rap world buzzing when he tweeted, “Me and jay bout to drop a 5 song album called ‘Watch the Throne.’ ” By October, that five-song EP had turned into a full-length LP. West confirmed with MTV News ‘ Sway that he and Hov were going all in. Check out exclusive photos of Jay-Z and Kanye West in the studio. “We putting out a whole album now,” ‘Ye said. “We had done five [songs] so far, but then a few of them kind of were out there, and I put them on my album. Sorry, Jay,” he chuckled. “But we got some more, and we’re going to the South of France at the end of the month to just record new ideas. But we’ll probably be done with the album in a day.” Things didn’t quite work out as planned, or perhaps Kanye overstated things, but the recording took way more than 24 hours. Nevertheless, while on a promo run to promote his book told Sway that he enjoyed working with Kanye and marveled at his growth as a beatmaker and lyricist. “This is another level of that recording,” Hov said. “Because Kanye, I’ve seen him — really, he’s like a brother to me — I’ve seen him from the beginning to where he is now. And to see him as a producer and to see how he’s growing as a producer and as an artist, for me, on another level, it’s enjoyable. I’m watching the guy that I pretty much mentored become his own guy, with his own opinion. It’s fantastic.” Fanatics wouldn’t get their first taste of Watch the Throne until January 2011 when the duo released “H.A.M.,” the Lex Luger-produced energy ball that found ‘Ye and Jay trading braggadocios verses. In the end, however, ‘H.A.M.” wasn’t the big hit that fans and pundits expected. Still, expectations for the album remained high. “There’s songs on there that’s making you go crazy,” Swizz Beatz told MTV News of the project without revealing too much. “That album is amazing, but I have to let those guys talk about that, because that’s their expression. All I can tell you is it passed the bar.” Read MTV News’ first impressions of the album after an exclusive listening session. Anticipation led to multiple rumors about the LP’s release date. First, it was reported that Throne would drop on July 4. Instead, during the Fourth of July weekend, the LP was made available for pre-order . Soon after, an official track list was revealed on Jay’s Life and Times blog. The track list confirmed that Beyonc
