Prince Williams/ATLPics.Net Ryan Cameron Returns To Radio At Majic 107.5/97.5 After a brief hiatus, Ryan Cameron is back! The Atlanta media icon with decades under his belt will return to radio November 5, this time at Urban One’s Majic 107.5/97.5 ! According to The AJC , he’ll replace “SiMan” Alexander and Chubb Rock’s afternoon show airing from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Majic fans shouldn’t fret however, SiMan and Chubb will move to 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Cameron left radio in January to join Rakanter, a branding firm, and management consulting firm, The Threaded Agency. He’s still at Rakanter and The Threaded agency and also hard at work as the live game announcer for the Atlanta Falcons and the Hawks. Cameron told The AJC that in addition to his radio, sports, and firm positions, he wants to create content and strategy for Urban One. One aspect could be digital content in the form of narrated or animated sketch comedy bits. We’re excited to hear that Ryan Cameron’s back not only on the air but as part of the Urban One family! Remember a week ago when Dakota Meyer said things between himself and Bristol Palin were ” the best [they’ve] ever been .” Well… a lot can change in a week. On this past Monday’s episode of Teen Mom OG , viewers watched Bristol and Dakota basically end their marriage, as both sides apologized for their mistakes and both acknowledged Meyer’s PTSD had become too much for the relationship to handle. It seemed as though the divorce was mutual and, hey, at the time, maybe everything was amicable. In a new MTV-sponsored video, however, Palin advised viewers not to rush into relationships and pregnancies, telling her audience the following: “I got engaged and pregnant within a month. Planned a wedding. And I was like, ‘I can’t get married.’ Called off the wedding. Went through the whole pregnancy by myself. “Friggin sucked.” That scenario does sound like it would friggin suck. And Palin made it sound even worse when she said she felt guilty that her second child essentially had no father and, as a result… “I got back together with him. Got married right away. Had another baby right away. And then we got divorced just recently.” Meyer, however, has taken EXTREME exception to this portrayal of both himself and the situation between him and Palin. He grants Bristol the basic facts of her pregnancies, but points most of the blame in her direction when it comes to the decisions she made and the way she handled it all. “Yes, we got pregnant right after our engagement,” he captioned a photo of himself and his daughter Sailor, 2. “We planned a wedding with our families and friends and Bristol decided to leave me a week prior . I spoke with her family every month and made it clear I would be the father of my child. “I reached out to her before Sailor was born and asked what the plan was to co-parent. She told me to go through the courts to establish paternity.” Moreover, Meyer argues, if Bristol felt so guilty… if she actually wanted him in the picture… why wasn’t he invited to the birth of his child? “I found out my child was born on Twitter,” he wrote this week in response to Bristol’s video, adding: “Can you imagine being a dad and not being allowed to be at your child’s birth? She denied my paternity until it could be proven, at which point Sailor was born. “For Bristol to state that Sailor didn’t have a dad is laughable. “What really happened is Bristol kept our daughter from having a father present at birth and until the courts ruled that I was her father.” Meyer concluded his angry post like this; “I can promise you this, Sailor and Atlee always had a dad, and always will have a dad.” Pretty straightforward and to the point from Meyer. And we can understand why he’s so upset here. Palin is doing what all Teen Mom cast members almost have to do: stir up drama. She and Dakota can’t just have a friendly divorce and pleasant co-parenting arrangement and nothing more because why would viewers tune in each week? But Meyer is a veteran. He suffers from anxiety and depression and constant nightmares because everyone in his platoon except for himself was killed years ago in a battle in Afghanistan. This is anything but your run-of-the-mill Teen Mom or reality show fodder. After all he’s been through, Meyer isn’t about to sit back and let his life story be turned into a ratings or publicity-grab by his ex-wife. And, really, can you blame him?!? Disgraced former NBC host Matt Lauer has been threatening to return to television , to the horror of many. But things aren’t going so well for him on the home front. Lauer’s wife has wanted him out of the house since January. It looks like she has finally, finally gotten her wish. InTouch Weekly reports that Matt Lauer is no longer living in the family home — at the insistence of his wife, Annette Roque. “Annette officially kicked Matt out of the house,” the insider announces. We’ve already heard that Lauer is furious about the $50 million divorce , in part because he wanted to make things work. So this has to sting. The source adds: “They were both staying in separate wings of the Sag Harbor home.” This, in classic rich people style, was “where they were living in with the kids.” “This,” the insider reveals. “Was their arrangement ever since Matt had been fired from the Today show.” Finding out that your husband is a serial cheater is one thing. Learning that he’s an accused sexual predator is another. “But Annette finally gave Matt a deadline,” the source explains. “And,” the insider continues, Annette “told him that he had to be out of the house by the day the kids start school.” “So he’s out,” the source states. In case you missed that bit about the divorce costing him $50 million, Lauer is no pauper. Being kicked out has not rendered him homeless. “He is staying in a property close to their main house in the Hamptons,” the insider says. There are reportedly some strict rules on when he can return to the family residence, where their three children reside. “He is only allowed in the main house when Annette isn’t there,” the source notes. “He goes to pick up the kids from school and / or pick them up from school and take them home,” the insider reports. “But that’s it.” it sounds like Annette does not even want to see his face — which is how many of his former fans feel after all that they’ve heard. “He’s not allowed to step into the house when she is there,” the source says. For a while, it seemed like the two of them were going to try to make it work and live in a sham marriage for the sake of their children. That ship has long since sailed. “She’s made that very clear,” the insider affirms. “The kids live with Annette,” the source notes. The insider continues: “She’s the main caretaker.” That makes sense. She’s not just their mother — she’s their parent who isn’t accused of being a rapist and general sex monster. She’s probably a better role model. “Matt loves them and is very involved in their lives,” the source reports. “But,” the insider clarifies. “They are living in the main house.” We should note that it was reported last April that Matt Lauer was kicked out of the house . It is possible that the report was in error. Sometimes, it is difficult to know which report is true and which is not without confirmation. It is also possible that he was kicked out and then begged his way back in. Lauer is said to be very concerned with his public image, and some believe that he is operating under the delusion that he can make a comeback. More bad news this morning for the long-suffering Giudice clan of This Real Housewives of New Jersey fame. As you may recall, “Juicy” Joe Giudice is currently behind bars serving 41 months on tax fraud charges. Joe was born in Italy and never obtained American citizenship. As such, the pride of the Garden State became a possible candidate for deportation the moment he was convicted of a felony. Now, TMZ is reporting that the Giudice family’s worst fears have been realized, and Joe will indeed be forced to return to his homeland. Once he’s through serving his sentence, he’s outta here. “Based upon the law, I find you deportable and ineligible for any kind of relief,” a judge ruled in immigration court this morning. “Mr. Giudice, no matter how this turns out, I wish you the best,” the judge added. “I decided this case as a matter of law.” Joe and his lawyers are expected to appeal the decision. They have been granted 30 days to complete the process. Needless to say, Joe’s prospects of remaining in the United States are not promising, but at least he’s … locked up for the time being. The question now is whether Teresa Giudice and her four daughters will join the family patriarch in his trip back across the pond. For a long time, it was widely assumed that Teresa would not be moving to Italy with Joe . She’s raising four girls who all have strong familial roots in Jersey, and it would be difficult to uproot them, no question. Moreover, it seems unlikely that Teresa would be able to make the kind of money she’s accustomed to anywhere other than the Garden State. Maybe Bravo would be willing to send a camera crew to the Boot to shoot a one-off special about the Giudice’s relocation? In any case, it seems unlikely that Teresa would be able to continue participating in the show that made her famous. On top of all that rumors of Teresa and Joe getting divorced predate the couple’s legal troubles by several years. But in recent weeks, Teresa has been hinting that she would be willing to at least make a go of life in Italy. “Italy’s a beautiful place to live,” Teresa said in a recent interview with Andy Cohen. “I wouldn’t mind; I’m just saying,” she added. “Whatever God has planned for me, then that’s what’s gonna happen. And I will embrace it the best that I can.” Well, we guess Teresa’s got the right attitude. Hopefully, she keeps up that optimism through the hard times ahead, because it looks like there will be plenty of them. I don’t want to die. These are the heartbreaking words penned by Jael Strauss on her Facebook page in a message to fans that relayed the most painful news imaginable: She has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. “I was gonna write some long thing but some of you guys deserve to know,” the 34-year old wrote last week, four days into Breast Cancer Awareness month. She then added very simply: “On October 2nd I was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer. It has aggressively spread throughout my body and is incurable.” Stage IV is the final and most serious stage for cancer. It is not always a death sentence, but as Strauss writes here, there is rarely any treatment options for someone that has contracted such an illness. Strauss later confirmed that the name of her illness was rapidly progressive metastatic inflammatory breast cancer. She went on to explain that undergoing chemotherapy and treatment may help extend her doctors’ original prognosis. “With treatment it may prolong my life longer than the “few months” doctors said I could make it,” she added. “I don’t want to die. I need another one of those miracles that I got back in 2013.” Strauss competed on the eighth season of America’s Next Top Model in 2007, finishing six among all contestants. Just this past August, she celebrated five years of sobriety, writing at the time on Instagram; “Today I have 5 years sober. Good God! “I know a few things to be true: Miracles are real, Recovery is possible for everyone no matter how far gone you think you are, We are never too broken to be put back together.” She talked years ago with Dr. Phil about how an intervention by her loved ones allowed her to overcome her addiction. (Hence the reference above to the year 2013.) “Service work feels better than the greatest high, Sobriety makes you weirder not normal,” she continued last month. “And I’d be dead if it weren’t for all the love and forgiveness I’ve been showered with by my friends and family. Thank you to anyone that’s ever let me sponsor them.” To help offset some of the medical costs, Strauss’ friends have set up a GoFundMe page on her behalf, confirming that the former model has already started chemotherapy. “What we do know is that Jael is putting all of her energy and drive into fighting this insidious disease and can use as much support and love as possible,” reads the fundraising page, noting that: “Jael is in tremendous pain right now and is unable to work. In a month, she will be let go from her job and lose her health insurance.” It adds: Jael, being the selfless person that she is, has helped countless people throughout her life as an advocate for recovery and social justice. She has offered everything she has to people in need; no matter what their situation, she is always ready to help with an empathetic heart and nonjudgmental spirit. She has created “gofundmes” for literally dozens of her friends, and it is now time for us to pay her back. We have the chance, and honestly the obligation, to step up and return the favor. This time, it went down in Marietta, GA, and the man in “question” was just babysitting his friends’ kids. Corey Lewis caught the entire incident on his Facebook Live. The woman approached him and the kids while they were shopping together in Wal Mart, and repeatedly requested to talk to the kids and ask them if they were okay separately. When Lewis refused, the woman tracked them all the way back to his home and called police to further “investigate” the kids’ wellbeing. SMH.
