Catelynn Lowell has been having a really, really tough time lately. If you keep up with Teen Mom even the tiniest bit, you know that much. Catelynn’s struggles began many, many years ago, technically, with an alcoholic mother and a somewhat absent father, and things only got worse for her when she got pregnant as a teenager and placed her daughter for adoption. She made the best choice for the child, but as we’ve seen over the years, it’s been an extremely difficult thing for her to carry. But that’s all background stuff — things got extra bad last fall, when she and husband Tyler Baltierra got pregnant with their third child only to have a miscarriage . The miscarriage was documented on Teen Mom OG, and it was tough to watch, to say the least. She and Tyler both said that they felt like they were grieving a child, and while he was clearly having trouble dealing with his emotions, Catelynn actually began contemplating suicide . Fortunately she was able to to realize how serious things were before she acted on any of those thoughts, and she checked into a treatment center in Arizona, the same one she visited in 2016 for postpartum depression. That time, she checked out early so she could spend Christmas with her family, but she quickly realized that she wasn’t ready to be home yet. She checked back in to complete her six-week program, then went home just before New Year’s. A few weeks later, she shocked fans when she announced that she’d be returning for yet another six weeks of treatment , this time to get her medications sorted and to start working through some childhood trauma. When we saw it all play out on the show, the situation was even worse than we thought, because it was clear Tyler didn’t fully support her decision to leave their daughter for another long, out-of-state stay. The topic of divorce came up more than once then. But off she went again, and in March, she came back home for good. Since then, it’s seemed like she’s been doing a lot better. She’s been staying off of Twitter for the past couple of months, something that was reccommended for her during rehab, and she’s been spending a lot of time bonding with her daughter. However, yesterday she made a new post on Instagram that’s got a whole, whole lot of people concerned. The image she shared is a quote, one that reads “I’m scared of the future. I’m scared of the past. I’m nervous at the moment.” For her caption, she wrote “I’m so scared right now… but I know that everything that is supposed to happen will happen… whatever my destiny is will be…. I got this….. I’m strong….” And that doesn’t sound too great. It actually sounds a lot like the kinds of things she said immediately before checking into rehab last time — remember, on the show, we heard her mantra of “I’m beautiful, I’m smart, I’m strong” ? Judging by the comments on her post, her followers are pretty sure that one of two things is happening. One, she’s checking into treatment again. Or two, she’s pregnant. Honestly, both options are pretty believable. She’s struggled with her mental health for several years now, and so it wouldn’t be too surprising if at any point she felt the need to do some intensive work on that front. Former The Real Housewives of Orange County star Alexis Bellino is getting divorced from her husband of 13 years, Jim. Wednesday was the Fourth of July, and while Alexis wore her most patriotic bikini to celebrate the United States’ independence from Great Britain. And she made it clear that she was celebrating her own independence , as well. In the captions of this photo of her showing off her incredible body in this American flag bikini, Alexis is not subtle with her double-meaning. Alexis writes: “Happy INDEPENDENCE Day friends!” Yes, she wrote independence in all caps. Like we said … this is not subtle. In case anyone managed to miss it, however, she included some tags. She wrote “#independent” followed by “#woman,” and then “#letfreedomring.” Dressed in a little more … well, clothing, Alexis also posed in a photo with her three children. Her son James is wearing blue and white — a nice understated way to celebrate the Fourth of July. Her twin daughters, Melania and Mackenna, are wearing American flag dresses. Alexis herself is wearing a white dress in this photo. While white is certainly one of the colors on the U.S. flag, some of her followers joked that she was “wearing the wrong flag.” A white flag, of course, is a symbol of surrender. Of course, when Alexis and Jim Bellino confirmed their divorce , the two made it very clear that they do not intend for this divorce to become contentious. “It is with heavy hearts that we inform the public of our mutual decision to end our marriage,” their joint statement began. They acknowledged that they are divorcing, “but it’s important to us that you know we made this choice together, with love, and as the best decision for our children’s future.” “We hold one another in the highest regards as spouses, and especially as parents,” they announced. “We have agreed on 50/50 custody of the children, and we ask that you respect our privacy by not theorizing about the reasons for our divorce.” “In recent days and weeks,” they explained. “There has been a lot of negative discussion about our marriage and why it is ending.” “Outside of the news of our decision to part ways, there is nothing provocative, alluring, or sordid about the dissolution of our marriage,” Jim and Alexis insisted. “Quite to the contrary,” they said. “We strongly support each other just as we have since the beginning of our relationship.” Should fans take Alexis’ declaration of independence as a sign that things are a little less amicable now? “Our marriage was a good one, but we were never perfect people or spouses,” they said. “No one is, and in this respect, we were a lot like millions of other married people.” They continued: “And, just like millions of other married people, we simply grew apart over time — there is no ill will or bad blood between us.” “And maybe,” their statement continued. “That’s why absurd rumors about our marriage and future together began when we filed for divorce.” “We ultimately want you to feel happy for us,” Alexis and Jim said. Fans of Teen Mom 2 have known for years that Jenelle Evans’ parenting is shoddy at best, abusive and criminally negligent at worst. But this past week has provided more evidence than ever before that Jenelle is unfit to raise children. It all started when Evans’ 4-year-old son Kaiser was dropped off to spend the weekend with his father, Nathan Griffith. Griffith’s mother, Doris Davidson, claims she immediately discovered several bruises on the boy. And when she asked how he got so banged up, Kaiser reportedly blamed his controversial stepfather. Griffith immediately dialled 911 to report the marks: “I received my child and he has marks all over him,” he told the dispatcher. “We asked him about it and he said David hit him with a stick.” At the end of the weekend, Nathan and Doris refused to return Kaiser to his mother, but were eventually forced to do so when an emergency CPS investigation turned up no conclusive evidence of abuse. Despite considerable protest from his father, Kaiser is now back with Jenelle and David in what his father fears is an abusive situation. But that doesn’t mean Nathan and Doris are giving up the fight. “Columbus County CPS has an open investigation on them still,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online. And Nathan says he has evidence that will convince investigators that Jenelle should be stripped of all custody and visitation rights. Insiders say Nathan took photos of five different bruises on Kaiser’s body before he returned the boy to Jenelle. It’s unclear why this evidence didn’t persuade the original investigator that the 4-year-old is being abused, but Nathan is reportedly confident that the photographs will be enough to have Jenelle stripped of all custody and visitation rights. Of course, as longtime followers of this conflict know, Nathan has been trying to have his son removed from Jenelle’s home for almost a year, thus far to no avail. The custody battle began back in September of 2017. At the time, Nathan accused both Jenelle and David of using corporal punishment that left “bruises and markings on the child that are unusual and more than normal scrapes that a toddler may have.” Nathan also accused Jenelle of smoking pot while pregnant , something that she later admitted to. Shortly after Nathan’s original documents were filed, he accused Eason of punching Kaiser on more than one occasion. Eason has denied the allegation. David recently took to Instagram to attempt to explain Kaiser’s bruising to the public: “You couldn’t ask for a better kid,” Eason wrote. “Kaiser is more active than the rest and tends to be a little clumsy but he is a bruiser and nothing stops him when he is having a good time!” Needless to say, the comment aroused more suspicions than it allayed. It remains to be seen if Nathan is actually in possession of sufficient evidence to prove to the court that Jenelle is an unfit mother. Earlier this week the “Shots Fired” actress opened up with the co-hosts of “The Talk” about her reactions to first hearing the rumor that she was the one who bit Beyonce at a party in Los Angeles. She said, “Me and my friends, we laughed our a**es off. We thought it was funny. I mean, it was so absurd.” “We thought it was funny. I mean, it was so absurd. The hashtag #WhoBitBeyoncé, it was just this big whodunit. You know, I’ve had lots of rumors over the years and after so many of them, you get a thick skin,” she added. We’re pretty sure Tiffany Haddish hasn’t helped the rumor mill, telling “The Hollywood Reporter” last month that Sanaa indeed did nibble on the Queen. “I’m super good friends with her stepmom and her dad (producer-director Stan Lathan), and they were mad at me,” Haddish said. “They were like, ‘Why would you do this to the family? You know, black actresses, you guys have to stick together, it’s so hard for you guys to get work as it is, why would you try to ruin her career?’ “ Haddish said that was never her intention. “I didn’t try to ruin her career,” Haddish explained. “I never said her name!
