Duggar Family: Dodging Questions About Mary Duggar’s Drowning?

Earlier this month, we reported on the sad news that Mary Duggar had passed away at the age of 78. Given her advanced age, it was widely assumed that the mother of Jim Bob had died of natural causes — but that later proved not to be the case. We now know that Mary Duggar drowned , and the exact circumstances of her accidental death remain unclear. No foul play is suspected, and the Duggars have every right to keep the details of their loved one’s passing to themselves. But given how publicly members of the famous family have lived their lives over the past 20 years, it stands to reason that some fans would be surprised by what seems to be a joint decision to keep the specifics of Mary’s fatal accident under wraps. Fortunately, the Duggars haven’t shied away from talking about Mary’s life, just her death. Jill Duggar was the first to pay tribute to her late grandmother. And while Jill’s eulogy to Mary created controversy due to her decision to monetize the post, the situation did not prevent other Duggars from following suit. The latest to honor Mary’s memory on social media is Anna Duggar. Anna posted a video of her grandmother-in-law interacting with her daughter Merideth: Anna Duggar Pays Tribute to Mary Duggar “As I’ve talked with my children this week about their special memories of Great-Grandma, Meredith said she was going to miss singing for Grandma,” Anna captioned the post. “Dithy has such a special love with Great-Grandma as she always enjoyed time with her and singing for her—Great-Grandma would give undivided attention and was her biggest fan!” she continued. “Somehow Grandma kept up with each of us and always took the time to make each birthday, recital, baby shower or any other event (and all the “uneventful” days in between) special—she mastered the rare art of consistent praise! She lived well, loved much and is greatly missed.” A touching tribute, to be sure — but some fans remained fixated on the mysteries surrounding Mary’s passing. “How did she accidentally drown?” one follower asked, point-blank. Not surprisingly, Anna never replied to the comment. We get the feeling the Duggars will continue to present a united front on this one. Florida Man Stole Pool Floats to Satisfy Twisted Desires

Nobody knows how to have a good time (and then get arrested for it) like Florida Man . But if you’re looking to liven up your summer pool party, definitely don’t invite Christopher Monnin. The 35-year-old Floridian was arrested for stealing dozens of pool floats around the Palm Bay area. Why pool floats? Well, to have sex with them, of course! According to the  Miami Herald , the Palm Bay Police Department suspect Monnin is behind a whole crime wave of missing pool toys. An estimated 13 cases of stolen floats have been reported in the Palm Bay area just this year. “The city has been plagued with burglaries,” police told the  Herald , During these burglaries, police explained, “the suspect cuts the screen or otherwise enters a victim’s back pool deck area and steals only pool floats.” That’s right,  only pool floats. Florida man knows what he wants, and he wants a lot of it. According to the affidavit, Monnin broke into some of the homes multiple times, but residents didn’t report the theft to Police until the second or third instance. Police finally stopped Monnin as a suspicious person on Thursday, June 13, around 1:30 in the morning. At the time, Monnin was riding his bike down the steet with a white garbage bag full of deflated pool toys.  At that point, it was a pretty safe bet that police had apprehended the correct culprit. To his credit, Monnin confessed quickly during questioning, stating that he had stolen “many floats.” Monnin added that he had been storing the stolen pool floats at a vacant house across the street from his own residence. We’d love to tell you that Monnin was simply gearing up for the pool party of the century, but this man does not have a pool, and the reality is much darker. Monnin allegedly told police he “sexually gratifies himself with the floats.” According to Monnin, he “does this instead of raping women.”  This mind-boggling admission only raises further questions, such as, WTF, Florida man? In what way is a pool float a substitute for a human woman? What kind of floats has he been stealing? Does he have a type? We’re not sure we even want to know. Monnin soon led the police to the vacant dwelling he’d converted into his pool toy love shack.  Here, police reportedly recovered roughly 75 pool floats of varying shapes and sizes, so let that sink in.  This man was keeping a veritable harem of inflatable mates.  Monnin’s collection of pool toys could fully stock the outdoor department of a store that only sells things no one should ever touch again. Police found several distinctive floats among Monnin’s ill-gotten collection, including a large yellow duck, and a float shaped like a piece of bacon. He also had a float shaped like a sliced watermelon, and a Shaquile O’Neil branded inflatable lounger, along with other lounge chair style floats. Monnin, already an ex-con with a history of burglary, may have topped his rap sheet with this ridiculous and troubling crime spree. But at least he was cooperative with police, and thankfully, he is not accused of actually raping any women. Monin was ultimately charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling, petit theft, and criminal mischief. He’s currently being held at Brevard County Jail, where his bond sits at $16,000. Monin’s reign of madness may have come to an end, but there’s plenty of summer time left for mre shenanigans from the Sunshine State. Party on, Florida Man. So Sad: Pennsylvania Woman Jumps Off A Bridge As Her 3 Children Wait In The Car

Source: kali9 / Getty Mother Leaves Her Three Children In The Car To Jump Off A Bridge According to Pittsburgh police, a woman parked her car on the Homestead Grays Bridge on Friday evening, left her three children inside of the vehicle, and proceeded to jump over the railing, killing herself. A city public safety spokesman said police, fire and EMS crews responded to the bridge about 7:20 p.m. for a report of a woman on the outer railing, per reports from The Pittsburgh Post-Gazett e . By the time emergency responders arrived on the scene, the woman had fallen into the Monongahela River; River Rescue recovered her body at about 9:15 p.m. and that is when she was declared dead. The woman was identified as 26-year-old Stanlee Allyn Holbrook of McKees Rocks, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office. Police said that they found three children between the ages of 1 and 9 in the car and luckily, all of them were unharmed.  The children were taken to a local hospital for evaluation and will be turned over to CYF, according to the spokesman. Following the incident, two lanes of traffic were closed while police processed the scene, snarling traffic in the surrounding areas.

Chris Brown is Expecting His Second Child. (Please Pray for Him/Her)

Congratulations are in order for Chris Brown. And prayers are needed for the little boy or girl who is about to grow up with Chris Brown as a father. The rapper is expecting his second child with Ammika Harris, numerous outlets have confirmed. It’s unclear just how far along Harris is in her pregnancy, but Us Weekly writes that she and the violent superstar broke up a few months ago. So… she’s either already well into her second trimester and the news just broke; or Brown and Harris had some non-relationship sex at some point in the fairly recent past. At last check, Brown was romantically linked to Instagram model Indya Marie. We remain perplexed, of course, over why he would be romantically linked to anyone, considering Chris Brown is a tempermental abuser who bloodied Rihanna’s face with his fists a few years ago. Since then, he has been accused of domestic violence on multiple other occasions as well. The New York Post first reported that Brown is expecting, noting that he dropped hints in May when he remarked on a photo Harris,playing basketball at an arcade. “BM BAD,” he wrote at the time, using the common abbreviation for “baby mama.” Neither Brown nor Harris has said anything else about the topic since then. Their baby, however, will join half-sibling Royalty in Brown’s immediate/extended family; her mother is Nia Guzman. According to the star, he thinks that being a dad is “very humbling” and he does seem to dote on the five-year-old toddler. Just take one look at Brown’s Instagram and it’s apparent he spends his fair share of time with Royalty. At other times, of course, he continues to try and roast another ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran. Brown just slammed her boyfriend, Victor Cruz , this past Thursday, writing of the former wide receiver’s fashion sense: “No shade boo, but PLEAS [sic] STYLE HIM. “He look like he shopping off the manikin [sic] and trying to bargain with the sales manager. Retired wrestler spanks [sic]. I’M F—KING AROUND … Good [sic] bless.” Oh, that Chris Brown. Always such a joker, right? Ammika Harris is reportedly having Chris Brown’s baby. She may need ALL the prayers, you guys. Added Brown on social media: “No shade. Just minor. Nothing bad or major. UPGRADE HIM SIS. I’ll take him around to style him. NOT HATE. Issa Good Guy: 21 Savage Donates $25,000 To Help Detained Immigrants Get Access To Legal Counsel

Source: WENN.com / WENN 21 Savage Made A Sizable Donation To The Southern Poverty Law Center 21 Savage just made a donation to the Southern Poverty Law Center, a nonprofit civil rights organization that was vital in assisting him in his battle against Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The rapper gave the SPLC a $25,000 check that is going to ensure detained immigrants in the South will have access to legal counsel. According to the nonprofit, only about 17 percent of immigrants in Southeast detainment centers have access to an attorney during their removal proceedings. The lack of legal representation leaves individuals vulnerable to terrible situations like family separation and deportation. Immigration law attorney Charles H. Kuck said the following in a statement: “21 Savage is making this donation public because everyday Americans need to know that ICE is using civil immigration detention as a weapon against immigrants, many of whom, like 21 Savage, have relief from deportation and are able to fix their immigration status. Creating oppressively adverse conditions of detention, like those in Irwin County, Georgia, far away from family and legal counsel, causes despair and hopelessness, and forces these men and women to give up on their immigration claims. The SPLC, through its Southeast Immigrant Freedom Initiative (SIFI) stands at the front line of this fight and supporting this effort lets all Americans know that the Constitution which protects the least of us, protects all of us.” If you’ll recall 21 was arrested and detained by ICE himself earlier this year. Immigration officials said that the rapper was born in the United Kingdom and was unlawfully present in the United States. The rapper’s legal team said he had entered the U.S. legally at the age of seven and stayed in the country until he had visited the U.K. in 2005. The rapper returned to the U.S. in July of that year under an H-4 visa, which expired in 2006. He reportedly applied for a visa in 2017; the application was still under review at the time of his arrest. He ended up being released on bond less than two weeks later.

Jennifer Lopez: Um, My First Two Marriages Don’t Even Count!

Jennifer Lopez makes it too easy to love her.  Let’s all please take a moment to applaud her for her latest performance.  No — not for her singing, acting, or her incredible dancing skills — but because she just made the most hilarious and savage comment ever.  Lopez recently opened up to her fans by sharing new behind-the-scenes footage from her mini-documentary “It’s My Party: Showtime!” while on the road for her 50th birthday tour.  She opened up about her past, her show preparations, and of course, Alex Rodriguez. J. Lo even shared details on her upcoming wedding with A. Rod (“the one”) , who proposed in March after more than two years together.  “Now it’s been three years now,” the mother of two said of her romance with the former MLB player.  “[We’ll get married] soon, not soon-soon, but next year.” “I’d like a big wedding, I’d like to get married in a church this time. Never been married in a church,” she shared.   The singer then got real about an area we’re all interested in, whether we like to admit it or not — her long list of ex lovers.  Over the course of her career, she’s reportedly dated Diddy, Ben Affleck, Casper Smart, back-up dancer Cris Judd and Drake  (!) . To name just a few.  The Second Act star has also been previously married… three times.  But it’s all good because she informed us that her first two marriages didn’t even count.  (Cue applause).  While Lopez was busy filling us all in on her wedding plans, she took a moment to explain why she was married three times prior to Rodriguez.  For those of you who don’t know, J. Lo was married twice before her marriage to Marc Anthony, with whom she shares 11-year-old twins Max and Emme. The first was to a waiter in 1997 and then to a dancer in 2001.   “I’ve been married three times, and one was nine months and one was 11 months, so I don’t really count those ,” she said.  “But I was married to Marc for 10 years, with the kids.” “I was very young the first two times I tried to get married,” she reasoned while laughing. “I’m saying tried .” She also went on to admit that she tends to want to be with someone who is around all the time.  “It seems like in this life you’re always surrounded by people, you’re never lonely — but it’s very lonely,” she said. “So you always want somebody with you. “And I felt like if I got married, I felt like I would always have somebody, but that’s not how life works,” she added. Ultimately, she acknowledged that getting married for the company was “a bad reason.”  But luckily with A. Rod, things are different.  This will mark Jen’s   fourth ( sorry, second) walk down the aisle — but she knows this marriage will last because she’s getting married to someone who makes her a better person. “The right one is when you find somebody who makes you better,” she said. We’re very happy for J. Lo and that she  finally found the right guy!   And from the looks of their adorable and happy blended family , we are sure things will work out in Lopez’s favor this *second* time around.

Duggar Family Responds to Mary’s Accidental Drowning, Expresses Gratitude

The Duggars have issued a new statement in light of further updates on the sudden and tragic death of their family matriarch. As previously reported, Mary Duggar died this past Sunday at the age of 78.  The loss was unexpected and we later learned why: Mary’s passing was the result of an accidental drowning , as authorities responded to a 911 call placed from her home in Arkansas — yet were unable to revive the mother of Jim Bob We now know a couple other things about this tragedy as well, courtesy of an Instagram post by Jana Duggar. “On her last morning spent here on earth I drove Grandma to church where she worshiped her Savior,” Jana wrote on Thursday, adding: “Later that afternoon, she went to meet Him face to face! I’d say that’s probably how she would’ve chosen to finish out the day if she got to pick.” According to Washington County Coroner Roger W. Morris, meanwhile, Mary simply “slipped” and fell into the water. “Her daughter Deanna discovered her body and alerted authorities, who pronounced her dead at the scene,” Morris said in a statement. This horrible news was first shared by the Duggars on their official Facebook page Sunday afternoon, where the “feisty” and “incredible” County On star was remembered by her famous loved ones in a tribute message. “Mary found great joy in sharing her love for Jesus and her own story of how at age 15 she asked Christ to forgive her for her sins,” this post read in part. “It was at that time she committed the rest of her life to live for Him, a commitment she kept with devotion.” And now the family has said a bit more — about both Mary and the support they’ve received from their fans around the world. “Grandma Duggar has had two strokes over the last year and some other medical issues and it’s our understanding that Grandma Duggar had slipped and fallen and passed by the time her daughter found her in the pool,” a rep for the family told Us Weekly. This rep continued: “We’ve been really touched by the outpouring of support and more than a thousand people referred to her as America’s grandma which is a title we hadn’t even given her.” Over the past few days, nearly every well-known Duggar family member has shared his or her thoughts on Mary’s passing. Here is a sample, for example, of what Jana posted: Grandma made a deep impact on each of our lives—first and foremost through her relationship with Jesus Christ, and secondly through her example of sharing the good news of salvation through Jesus with others! She would always be talking about the day she would see her Savior’s face and how much she looked forward to it! Yesterday was that day! She knew where she’d spend eternity and wanted everyone else to know that for themselves too. And Jill: My heart breaks. My grandma died suddenly today! She was an amazing woman of God and such a great example to so many! And Anna: She was a true soul-winner and loved everyone she met, telling them to turn from sin and trust Jesus for salvation! Miss her soooo much and we cherish each moment we were blessed to spend together! And Amy: My best friend passed away yesterday afternoon. Jesus sure took home a treasure.
