Odom had initially been in a Las Vegas hospital and then a Los Angeles hospital ever since he fell unconscious in a Nevada brothel on October 13. The private facility, which will serve as a rehab center for the star, is located near Kardashian’s home in Beverly Hills. Odom spent Christmas with his kids – Lamar Odom Jr., 13, and Destiny, 17 – last month, celebrating the occasion from a hospital bed. “Lamar is doing way better. He was so happy the kids were there with him for Christmas and they were so happy to be with him,” an insider told Us Weekly at the time. “The kids were happy … to bring him gifts, all of his favorite things that they wrapped up. Lamar’s life hung in the balance shortly after he was admitted to the hospital in Las Vegas three months ago. Courtesy of his son, Lamar Odom Jr., we now have our first look at the estranged husband of Khloe Kardashian since his hospitalization in mid-October. “Christmas with my pops,” the teenage wrote as a caption to this Instagram photo, which includes his sister, Destiny, and the former NBA standout. “Here’s to 2016. Blessed.” Odom, of course, fell unconscious while on a weekend bender in a Las Vegas brothel this fall, the latest in a sad number of life setbacks. He was rushed to a Nevada hospital at the time before being transferred to a Los Angeles facility, where he has remained ever since. Khloe has spent a ton of time by the side of the ex-power forward, who took his first steps about two months after falling ill. In the family picture featured here, half of Lamar’s face is visible as his children with ex-girlfriend Liza Morales pose behind him. The athlete – who is still legally still Kardashian’s husband – also had a son named Jayden with Morales, his partner of 10 years… but that child died at six months old from sudden infant death syndrome in 2006. With all the attention that’s been paid to her trout pout over the past year, it was only a matter of time before the Kylie Jenner lip kit became a thing. Kylie is a master of marketing herself, and naturally, the $29 gloss and liner sets sold out within minutes. Unfortunately, fans who were hoping to give themselves the gift of Kylie-like lips in time for the holidays may be disappointed. TMZ is reporting that irate customers are flooding social media with complaints that they never received their lip kits . Some of them say they pre-ordered weeks ago and their tracking numbers indicate that the product should have been delivered already. The problem has gotten so bad that lip kit buyers have threatened to contact the Better Business Bureau. Facebook and Twitter pages for C&S Sales – the maker and distributor of the lip kit – are being bombarded with complaints. One woman recently commented, “At what point do we report this as fraud?” and her gripe has received dozens of likes. When Lamar Odom overdosed on a cocktail of drugs at a Nevada brothel last month, his estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian, rushed to be his side. At first, there were rumors of a possible reconciliation, as Khloe called off the couple’s pending divorce shortly after Lamar emerged from his coma. Now, however, it seems that Khloe made the decision to delay the proceedings simply so that she could better serve as Odom’s caretaker and make medical and legal decisions on his behalf. In recent statements, Khloe has made it clear that she is not in love with Odom and has no intention of living with him as man and wife. Odom – who sustained significant brain damage when he overdosed – is said to be confused and heartbroken by the situation. However, friends say Khloe has no intention of giving the former NBA player another chance simply because he hit rock bottom. Now, Radar Online is reporting that Khloe has informed Lamar that under no circumstances will he be permitted to live with her once he’s ready to leave the hospital. “Khloe has flat our refused to let Lamar move into her house,” says one insider. “She doesn’t want her house to be a hospital. It’s been over two months since Lamar Odom nearly died from an overdose after a week of heavy drug use at a Nevada brothel. Against all odds, Lamar emerged from his coma after several days, and astonished doctors by demonstrating that he was able to communicate and understand what was being said to him. Unfortunately, Odom suffered 12 strokes in the hours before he was hospitalized, and his family and friends were cautioned that he would likely sustain permanent brain damage. Now, Radar Online is reporting that Odom’s rehabilitation is going more slowly than expected , and the 36-year-old “The most difficult aspect of Lamar’s recovery, apart from learning to walk, has been dealing with the ongoing incontinence,” says one source. “He has been unable to control his bladder muscles and the urge to go. “He refuses to wear an adult diaper, and is going through numerous pairs of underwear daily.” The insider says that Odom is embarrassed by the problem and “has tried to hide the incontinence from visitors as it’s obviously very embarrassing for him. He adds, “Everyone has been very supportive and no one has joked about it. It’s just terribly humbling and sad to see Lamar struggling.” Sadly, it sounds as though Odom has quite a long way to go before he’ll be able to return to his home and adjust to a life that will likely never be the same. Khloe Kardashian talked candidly about Lamar Odom’ s condition during her recent appearance on Ellen. The former NBA star was hospitalized on October 13th in Nevada after he was found unconscious at a brothel. Khloe has barely left his side, save for a few personal and professional engagements. Odom has since been transferred to Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles, but he’s still not fully aware of the extent of his injuries. “We tell him that he had a brain injury, but we can’t tell him how that brain injury was caused, because that will set him back,” Khloe explained to Ellen DeGeneres. “He never asks why he’s here. He doesn’t ask,” she said. “He’s really confused a lot — sometimes he knows who the president is and his birthday, and sometimes he thinks he’s 26, and I say I bet you wish you were 26, so do I!” The reality star, who is also promoting her book, Strong Looks Better Naked , said she is putting off their divorce not because there’s a chance they’ll get back together, but because he needs someone to look out for him. “I’m there helping him and I love him and I’ve always loved him, and that will never change,” she said. “I just feel like it’s a really insensitive thing to fast forward a divorce. “He’s a fantastic person who deserves support and love and for someone to be by his side and for me I’m that to him. ” Khloe’s appearance on Ellen airs Monday, November 16th. Prepare to shed all the tears, Hollywood Gossip readers. All thanks to an 18-year-old named Jake Bailey. A week before the senior high school student was scheduled to give a speech at his graduation in New Zealand, he was diagnosed with Burkitt's non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, a fast-growing form of cancer. Despite this grim prognosis, however, the Senior Monitor (equivalent to Class President in America) left his hospital bed, climbed into his wheelchair and delivered words of moving wisdom to teacher and classmates at Christchurch Boy's High School assembly. “I wrote a speech, and a week before I was due to deliver this speech tonight they said, 'You've got cancer,' ” he said from a wheelchair, continuing: “They said, 'If you don't get any treatment within the next three weeks, you're going to die.' Then they told me I wouldn't be here tonight to deliver this speech.” Principal Nic Hill was prepared to give Bailey’s speech on the teenager’s behalf, but it turned out this wasn’t necessary. “Here's the thing, none of us get out of life alive, so be gallant, be great, be gracious and be grateful for the opportunities you have,” Bailey said. “We don't know where we might end up, or when we might end up. “The future is truly in our hands. Forget about long term dreams, lets be passionately dedicated to the pursuit of short term goals.” These would be inspiring words coming from anyone, let alone coming from a brave young man basically on his deathbed. It’s been well documented that the Queen gives her grandson the amount of space he needs in order to build a successful marriage with Catherine. In 2012 William told biographer Robert Hardman that Her Majesty told him to forget whatever wedding invite list aides had drawn up (full of stuffy royal relatives and the like), start from scratch and invite his and Catherine’s friends first. Secondly, if there are any “fractures” in the royal marriage, then let’s take a look at William and Catherine’s body language at engagements. A friend of mine commented that they had “eye sex” during every engagement of their 2013 royal tour of New Zealand. As someone who’s made a living studying the British royal family, I am finding it very, very difficult to believe any of the quotes pulled from this story. The Cambridges may have spent a “romantic” minibreak in Dundee, Scotland, but they also had a day of events there on October 23rd. And with their alma mater, St. Andrews University about an hour away, it’s very likely they spent the night. Kate Middleton, Beyonce Meet-and-Greet As far as a vacation to Mustique, that’s not likely to happen until January or February; for the past few years Catherine has joined her family on the island for a private holiday. No tropical vacations are believed to take place from now until the end of the year, since the royal diary is always jam-packed through the holidays. The quote about “plenty of nannies” being able to care for George and Charlotte is false because they have one nanny, Maria Borrallo , who graduated from the prestigious Norland College. As for Carole, what the Queen thinks of Catherine’s mom is anyone’s guess. The Middletons have been included in everything from the planning of the royal wedding to Christmas Day church service, so if the Queen is not in love with Carole, she’s not showing it. So much for that fairy tale reconciliation. According to reports, Khloe Kardashian exploded at Lamar Odom earlier this week after a tense hospital visit that left the ailing NBA star in tears. Kardashian was spotted at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Wednesday, as new reports claimed that Lamar kicked Khloe out of his hospital room . It looks like that ripped-from-the-tabloids, soap opera-esque rumor may have actually been true, as the two had it out a couple of days ago. The impetus for that demand, insiders say, was his belief that Khloe has been using his overdose for publicity, and her response to that accusation. Khloe Kardashian’s recent interview with People is telling for a number of reasons, but perhaps none more so than when she discusses his background. Specifically, his lack of support system outside of herself. Khloe’s thoughts, prayers, time and effort have been dedicated to Lamar as he recovers from the serious health crisis brought on by an overdose. It’s a good thing, too, because he has no one else in his life. Sad, but true. For all the negative things said about the Jenners and Kardashians, there is strength in numbers, and they have each other’s backs. This is not lost on Khloe, says says, or Lamar for that matter: “He’s the first one to say that. He doesn’t have a support system.” “He has no siblings and his mother passed away.” “He has a different lifestyle. He doesn’t have a ton of friends because most of them have passed away. It’s just him. I want to be his support system.” “I have basically 10 brothers and sisters and strong parents.” A few obligatory haters online have had nasty, cynical things to say about Khloe exploiting Lamar or still dating James Harden during this ordeal. The fact of the matter is, though, that the Kardashians have no need to exploit anything for more publicity, and Khloe tore up their divorce papers . Repeat: The duo’s divorce was all but finalized, and has now been withdrawn. She could have easily paid Lamar’s bills and still divorced the guy. Bottom line, she is not just responding to the tragic, near-death experience of a loved one but sticking by a man she believes in a real future with. Whether you agree with them or not (and we will grant you that his dalliances with drugs and hookers give us plenty of pause), she’s in it for the right reasons.
