T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle will feature T.I.’s wife, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle and their children for an inside look at the private and professional life of the Grammy-winning Atlanta artist. ” In this family documentary, you will see the challenges of raising children while balancing a career,” T.I. said in a VH1 press release. “It’s like a lot of families, only our home is in the spotlight.” T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle premieres on VH1 December 5th at 9pm. The new series follows the “King of the South” at his most vulnerable, as T.I. re-acclimates back into his life as a father, husband, son, musician, apparel magnate, businessman, actor and best-selling author (Power & Beauty). During filming of a music video, the audience will catch a tender moment as T.I. teaches his son the importance of education and doing his school work. A family that plays together, stays together… According to TMZ reports : T.I. is making up for lost dad time — after 11 months in federal custody, the rapper spent last Saturday afternoon at his son’s football game in Atlanta … and his reality TV crew filmed the entire heartwarming bonding sesh. T.I.’s son, Clifford “King” Joseph Harris III — one of his five biological children — turned 7 on August 25th … four days before the rapper was released. If you ask T.I. to give you some information about his upcoming reality show on VH1, he will not hesitate to correct you and let you know that that’s not what he’s working on at all. “I don’t like to call it a reality show,” he told BOSSIP yesterday, “because I feel like that undermines the integrity of the project. What we’re shooting is a documentary that offers viewers an inside look at all of the different facets of my life, most importantly me as a man and a father.” T.I. went on to explain that the new show, titled “Family Hustle” focuses much more on his family than it does him. While that may surprise T.I. fans who are used to him being fairly private when his children are concerned, he says that this wasn’t exactly his idea. “This is what the family wanted to do,” T.I added. “One of my sons wants to be a rapper, so he wants to showcase his talents and put ‘em out there. My daughter [Tiny’s oldest Zonnique] has the OMG Girlz and they’re doing really well. King wants to be an actor, my other daughter wants to sing. So they told me this is what they wanted to do, and I went out there and made it happen.” The show is likely to capture another kind of family drama too. T.I. also revealed yesterday that while the most visible of his Grand Hustle artists are doing well – B.o.B. with his new #1 single “Strange Clouds,” Young Dro who recently released new music, and the OMG Girlz who are currently on the road with the Scream Tour – he isn’t “throwing the building” behind anyone until he sees what they’re really working with. Up next for T.I. is a book tour in support of his new novel “Power & Beauty,” which hits stores on October 18.

T.I. has finally returned to a halfway house to complete his prison sentence. The ATL rapper was originally yanked out of the halfway house last week and returned to prison for allegedly engaging in talks with producers for his reality show on his tour bus. Really? A civil protest is illegal now?? Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) and 10 other immigration reform supporters were arrested in front of the White House on Tuesday for protesting against the Obama administration’s deportation of young people and families. Gutierrez has been arrested for protesting twice before — once, in the mid-1990s, against the bombing of Vieques, Puerto Rico, and again in 2010 against the Obama administration’s deportation record. On Tuesday, he and other deportation critics sat down in front of the White House with a sign reading “One million deported under President Obama.” After about 20 minutes, they were arrested by U.S. Park Police. The 11 protesters will be processed and then released after paying a small fine. Gutierrez is a vocal critic of the deportation of young people and families, who he says should be protected from removal by an executive order by the White House. But President Barack Obama has repeatedly refused to make such an order, calling for Congress to act on immigration reform instead. Barry-O has way bigger problems to deal with than to be making sure that you don’t get send to jail sir. In case you haven’t heard, there is a financial crisis in this country…SMH Source
