Can they live??? Over the past few months we have THOROUGHLY enjoyed tuning in to “ T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle” on VH1 (Mondays @ 10pm). As entertaining and endearing as the show is, there has been an ongoing undercurrent of ugliness (no pun intended) when discussing Tiny’s…”aesthetic appeal” in comparison to Tip’s. There were always jokes and snide comments, but after an episode two weeks ago when “The Kang’s” other baby mama, Ranniqua , made an appearance the chit-chatter got louder and meaner. As mentioned in a previous post, most people found Ranniqua VERY attractive and began to wonder aloud, “Why the hell didn’t T.I. stay with her instead of Tiny??”. It seems everyday that another celebrity couple is getting divorced, and with so much talk about the absence of the Black family unit and Black love, shouldn’t people be happy that Harris’ appear to have a loving supportive relationship rather than playing the “Marvin’s Room” card saying that they think Tip “could do better”??? Is this another case of psuedo-celebrity attention sloring?? On Monday’s episode of T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle the world got their first look at “The Kang’s” OTHER baby mama, Ranniqua. If you were watching the Tweets then you saw that the general reaction was “Damn, she bad. Why the hell Tip dump her to wife up Tiny?!?!”. And while that point of view has some merit (because Ranniqua is DEFINITELY a aesthetic upgrade), that is another discussion for another day. What we did not get a chance to see was Ranniqua’s singer/rapper alter ego “Ms. Niko” Apparently, Ms. Niko has been working on her music for some time before her debut feature on VH1 this week. If you’ve been following the relationship of T.I. and Tiny Harris (and their new reality show), one thing that is clear is how much those two love each other. Tiny took a pause from celebrating Christmas to share her present from T.I. with her twitter followers ( @TinyMajorMama ) last night–a brand new Jeep. “My husband is the greatest!,” she wrote. “Here’s my big Xmas gift with more goodies inside.” The truck came filled with more presents on the inside, but we’re pretty sure Tiny is more happy that Tip is home to celebrate. The reality show featuring Tip and his family premiered online a few days early, and was seen by 4.3 million viewers at 9 pm on Monday night (December 5th).
