Hello, my name is Saidah Belo-Osagie, and I have been a devoted belieber ever since late summer ‘09. I know a lot of people says this, but I am so happy that there is a website for Bieber experiences, because it has taught me to truly NEVER SAY NEVER. I will admit, before a couple of these experiences I will be sharing in about 3.7 seconds, I said ‘never’ quite a lot. I don’t have that much room to discuss at length about my JB concerts on 10/10/09, and 8/28/10, but they were absolutely amazing! His presence, confidence, and swagger makes him such an driven performer, and I’m so happy I got to be apart of those concerts and see all that work he puts in for his fans. This year, on 1/16/11 at 1:18 am, Justin Bieber RTed me! It was so unexpected, because usually to get his attention, I spam him with like 25 tweets. Since it was really late, and I couldn’t fall asleep, I just tweeted him once and he retweeted. One of the OLLGs was actually the first one to tweet me, and when I went on his page, I basically went cross-eyed; I was in so much disbelief I was crying and freaking out. Now, the most recent. I went to the Today Show on June 23rd . Justin Bieber was promoting his new fragrance, Someday (which by the way smells uh-ma-zing!) I woke up at 4am, so I could take the train there. My parents ended up taking me to the train at 6, so my first thought was,”I’m screwed.” I ended up getting to the city at 6:30. As I was running to the building, I already saw this line that was a block long. I was supposed to meet my friend Haylee (@baconbeacon6, she’s not really a belieber, but she still appreciates him), but she wasn’t there! I just calmly went on line, hoping they would let me in. To my surprise, the line was going by really fast. When I got in, the entire space was surrounded, and there was no place I could stand in that was not reserved or taken. I just stood by these 2 nice grandmas that were so sweet, they said when Justin came out, me and my friend could go in front of them! Unfortunately this lady next to us was being really stubborn and saying how my friend couldn’t stand with me and everything. Ok, I understand there are 40 yr olds that are fans of him, but really? You’re going to get into a fight with a 15 year old girl over a 17 year old boy? Luckily, it worked out, so that me and my friend squeezed ourselves into the front quite comfortably. As we stood for about 2 hours waiting for him to come, a lady who worked at the Today Show went through the crowd and gave me and my friend a sample of the perfume. Then some minutes later, another lady came and gave me a ‘Someday’ shirt, and said I could have it as long as I was wearing it haha, I guess I was apart of the whole promoting tool, which worked out for me because I was on TV more. Afterwards, The last lady was pushing her way till she came to me and asked if I wanted a huge poster to hold up to the camera. I was just like, ‘Omg yes!’ The fact that I was one of the only ones in my section that got this 3 foot cardboard of Justin Bieber’s face with the Someday perfume on it was so exciting, and it’s a great momento to the BEST morning of my life! As we were waiting for Justin Bieber to come, there would always be some random girls screaming, and I would get the biggest panic attack because I always though JB was like right there. Finally, he came out. I had never seen him so close up, so I was screaming like crazy. C’mon he was RIGHT THERE. I was in so much disbelief I thought I was dreaming. He was soon gravitating closer and closer to my side. He basically just went around spraying people’s hands with perfume and saying hi or smiling. He was so beautiful! Then he finally came about a foot away from me , and my heart was pounding. 2 years of preparing what I was going to say to him when I met him, just went out of my head. I was speechless. He came to me, smiled, and said, “Do you want me to spray you with perfume?” He was staring at me and I just went, “OH MY GOSH PLEASE DO!!” He smiled again and held my hand and sprayed my wrist-his hands are so soft omfb!!!! From the video, it looks like he is proposing to me because he is looking down at my hand, and I am gasping like he just asked me to be his wife! Then after that, I was like, “Do you want to take a picture with me?” He said: “Of course!!” Haylee took the picture of me and him. I just turned to look at him, and out of nowhere went, “Thank you so much like omg you don’t understand!!!” He winked at me and said ‘No problem’ and rubbed my shoulder. Right there and then, I could have sworn I died. I had his book in my hand, and I think he expected me to ask him to autograph it, which I was planning on doing, but no words were coming out of my mouth, it was like some Bieber phenomenon! Haylee had to basically hold me up from fainting! The basic moral of this story is that good things happen to those that wait. I did not think I was going to meet JBiebs in the near future at all, and I made countless 11:11 wishes, hoping that SOMEDAY I would meet him. But honestly, the day before I was so sad because my mom wouldn’t let me pay $135-$150 to meet him at Macy’s, and I didn’t win the M&Gs on the radio either. The fact that I got the best experience of my life without paying, and waiting says something. NEVER SAY NEVER!! Our names are Amanda and Sarah, and we are best friends. We NEVER thought that we would have such an amazing opportunity, and we read this tumblr all the time in jealousy …well not anymore! For all you people reading this right now and thinking that you will never meet Justin Drew Bieber, please don’t. NEVER SAY NEVER…..because we were JUST like you only a matter of days ago. Our Bieber experience started about a week before the day that we met him. We are from Long Island, and when we found out that Justin was going to be in New York City for a couple days we freaked out. Justin was planning to have a meet and greet at Macy’s , so we started to find out if it was possible for us to go. We researched for days, but we couldnt find ANY information about anything exept from one person here and there. We video chatted every night to see if one of us had found anything useful, but each night was another let down. In the process of looking into going to Macy’s we noticed that Justin Bieber was going to be on the Today Show that same exact day. We freaked out (..again) and started to find out how to get tickets and get into seeing him. Sarah found out that the Today Show is at 7:00 in the morning, and it would be almost impossible to get from Long Island to NYC at the earliest hours of the morning. Once again we were devastated. The whole cycle of being upset started all over again, and now we only had about 3 days until Justin was coming to NY. The next day Amanda was talking to her dad about it, and he offered to bring us to the city. We werent really sure if it was even going to be possible to see Justin. Going to Macy’s was out of the question, because Justin had already tweeted about it, and basically every belieber on the east coast was going to be there. The next day was extremely frustrating. Justin had just tweeted more about being in NYC and we were getting seriously stressed over this. That night Sarah went to practice, and Amanda went to twirling, just like a normal night. Amanda’s talked to her dad again about going not to Macy’s but to the Today Show and he said that he was still open to taking them. When Sarah got out of practice she had 5 new messages, 3 missed calls, and 2 new voicmails. Some from Justin’s twitter, but all the rest from Amanda urgently trying to reach Sarah. By the time everything was worked out, it was so last minute, because the show was the next morning, that we just decided to leave early in the morning and Sarah would sleep over Amanda’s house. That night we bought a poster and markers and purple sparkles, the poster said “CURE MY FEVER DR. BIEBER”. We rushed off to bed, because we would be getting up at 3 in the morning. Niether of us slept that night. Of course we got up at 3 and left the house at 3:30 …we got to the city at 4:30 and it was still dark out. In Rockfellar Center we waited on a line on the street for about an hour and a half until we were allowed to go into the set of the show, which was set up outside. Since we were one of the first 30 people on line we got a good standing spot right up against the metal barricades. It was SO fun to meet beliebers just like us, and basically the whole time we talked to them, and it was so easy to relate! The show started at 7 with boring news, and by 8 they were still broadcasting news and weather, so people were starting to get anxious. The forecast said that it was supposed to rain, and if it rained we all knew that Justin would not be coming outside. Our hearts were literally beating out of our chest with nervousness. It was both our second time seeing Justin in person, but we knew that he had changed a lot since the last time we saw him. At about 8:30 people started to scream, they saw him inside. We screamed until we couldn’t talk any longer, and he walked outside. The tears literally came our my eyes within a matter of seconds of seeing him. Everyday we would talk about him and look at pictures of him online, and he was only 10 feet away from us. He was in a good mood, because he went around the whole perimeter of the baricades and signed and took pictures with almost everyone. By the time he was about 5 feet from us, taking pictures with lucky fans and always smiling, the tears were running down our face more that we had ever cried in our lives. We kept turning to eachother and just crying and smiling, because it was the most amazing feeling that we had ever experience in our lives. Justin came around to us and he signed Sarah’s JB pillow with a cute “JB” right on the back. He also signed our poster that we made. Unfortunately we didnt get a picture with him because he was moving so fast . But that didn’t matter, and it still doesn’t matter. It took him a good 20 minutes to get around to almost everybody. In total, we got about 6 texts from different people saying that they saw us on TV. It turns out that we were on TV about 4 or 5 times which was AMAZING. A lady who worked for NBC took a picture of our poster and put in on twitter, we were hoping that Justin would see it. In all, for both of us, with no exaggeration, it was the best day of our lives. It was the most amazing experience of our lives, and we are so happy to share it with you! Seriously, take this as another reason to NEVER SAY NEVER. We met Justin, and #SOMEDAY you will too!
