Madonna Fans React to Shortened Concert in France: BOOOO!!!!!!

Madonna put on a last-minute concert in Paris last night with one goal in mind: peace and tolerance. By the time it was over, just 45 minutes after the Material Girl took the stage, debris was flying and fans were screaming for a refund.

Justin Bieber Album Crowned Top Debut of 2012

Take that, Madonna! In news that absolutely no one finds shocking, Justin Bieber is number-one on this week’s Billboard 200 chart, as his new album, “Believe,” solid 374,000 copies in its first week of release. That’s the biggest debut sales week to date in 2012, surpassing the Material Girl’s 359,000 for “MDNA.” The figure also represents a personal best for The Biebs. He previously sold 291,000 albums of “My World 2.0” in April 2010. Justin, of course, has been anywhere and everywhere this week for promotion. The above still was snapped of him during a performance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno , while he actually stopped for a sing-along with fans prior to making that appearance. He also engaged in a pretty great Awesome-Off with Jimmy Fallon earlier in the week. You should watch it.

Jennifer Aniston’s Foul-Mouthed, Sex-Crazed Boss Wins Best Dirtbag

‘Horrible Bosses’ star even filthier than Jon Hamm and Colin Farrell in brand-new Movie Awards category. By Jason Kaufman and Jocelyn Vena Jennifer Aniston in “Horrible Bosses” Photo: Warner Bros. In the end, Jennifer Aniston wound up being the filthiest of them all. Aniston took home the very first Best On-Screen Dirtbag prize at the MTV Movie Awards for her role as sex-crazed dentist Julia Harris in “Horrible Bosses.” The category was introduced this year to celebrate the most cringe-worthy characters to hit the big screen this year. But before she took the stage, a real-life cringe-worthy moment took place when some audience member heckled presenters Mila Kunis and Mark Wahlberg when they took the stage. The actress shook off the jab, with “Ted” co-star Wahlberg by her side, and handed the Golden Popcorn to Aniston. “I mean, do you know how long I have tried to have somebody let me unleash my on-screen dirtbag? A really long time,” Aniston told the room. “And thank God this category just popped up. So I would like to say ‘thank you’ to the television show ‘Friends’ for letting me unleash the inner sweetheart and here’s to [director] Seth Gordon for allowing me to be a dirtbag.” Aniston faced some stiff competition. Bryce Dallas Howard made for a horribly racist Miss Hilly in “The Help.” Jon Hamm used bedroom acrobatics to turn Kristen Wiig upside down in “Bridesmaids.” Aniston’s own “Bosses” co-star Colin Farrell had gotten reckless with a mound of cocaine and a slimy mustache. And then there was “Project X” star Oliver Cooper for his over-the-top party-boy antics. Cooper made the case for why he should win to MTV News all week. “I f—ed up an entire neighborhood. I didn’t care about my friends. I still don’t care about those guys, OK? What else did I do in that movie? I don’t even remember. It’s all a blur. I don’t even care about the movie — that’s how much of a dirtbag I am,” Cooper told us. “I just want that goddamn popcorn, so I can have a career.” In the end, all of Cooper’s campaigning didn’t matter since the Golden Popcorn is headed towards Aniston’s mantle. When MTV News caught up with the unexpected scene-stealer last summer to discuss “Bosses,” she revealed how

Justin Bieber Lights Up Billboard Music Awards With ‘Boyfriend’

Singer snags Top Social Artist award before taking the stage. By Jocelyn Vena Justin Bieber performs at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday Photo: Ethan Miller/ Getty Images Justin Bieber got the room shaking at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas when he danced around the stage rapping and singing his lead Believe single, “Boyfriend.” Dressed in white and yellow, with some neon lights on his pants, the 18-year-old stormed the stage and danced his butt off — but he didn’t go it alone. He was joined by some sexy, scantily clad lady dancers and male dancers in masks. Jumping from various levels of the stage, Bieber got his swaggie on. He especially brought out the swag when the song broke down in the middle for an extended dance remix, and he showed that he’s growing as a performer and a hoofer, relying less on his cutesy tween image and more on the razzle-dazzle of predecessors like Justin Timberlake and mentor Usher. Before he took the stage to perform, Bieber was up there to accept the prize for Top Social Artist. An emotional Bieber thanked those closest to him during his speech. “First of all, I just want to say how much of a blessing it’s been the past three, four years, just growing up in front of everybody,” he said. “I want to thank all my fans, ’cause the Internet is where I got my start. I want to thank my boy [and manager] Scooter Braun for all he’s done. He’s more than just a manager to me. I want to thank Usher. … He takes the time to really care. I just want to say ‘thank you so much’ to my mom and my dad and to God. I could keep rambling forever. I just want to thank you so much. Swaggie.” Immediately after Bieber performed, his first artist, Carly Rae Jepsen, also sang her hit single “Call Me Maybe.” What did you think of Bieber’s performance? Let us know in the comments! Katy Perry Flies High At Billboard Music Awards

Singer debuts ‘Wide Awake’ ahead of her ‘Part of Me’ 3-D concert film release in July. By Jocelyn Vena Katy Perry performs at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday Photo: Ethan Miller/ Getty Images Katy Perry was “Wide Awake” at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night (May 20). The purple-haired singer took the stage in glittering Las Vegas to debut her new single, the slow-motion breakup track from her Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection album. It’s also the song she’s picked to promote her 3-D concert film, “Part of Me,” out in July. Dressed in all white, almost like a bride (ironic, given she’s back on the market after her split from husband Russell Brand ), the performance opened with Perry descending from the ceiling over the stage, surrounded by Cirque du Soleil-type acrobats and steampunk touches, including dancers in top hats and a setting that almost looked like it was from the Smashing Pumpkins’ “Tonight, Tonight” video. Perry mostly floated over the stage in a white ribbon that kept her hanging in the air as she sang about letting her heartbreak go to start anew. The dreamy vibe of the performance mirrored the song’s ethereal feeling. Earlier in the night, in a sparkling lavender gown, Perry took the stage to accept her Spotlight award for amassing five #1 hits from her Teenage Dream album. “Thank you. They told me the only other person who received this award is Michael Jackson, so I feel incredibly honored,” she told the room. “I always say the people have the power, so I want to thank all the glittering, gorgeous [people] out there. Rock on, KatyCats! “Tonight, later, when I get on the stage, I’m going to be singing my personal, intimate song,” she added, before shouting out her date. “The real rock star here is my grandmother. She’s 91 and she’s from Las Vegas. I can’t wait to go and do shots with you after this!” The same night she was in Vegas to perform the song, a lyric video was released as a teaser to the song’s music video, which Perry filmed earlier this month . Bobby Brown: Whitney Houston Would’ve Wanted Me to Perform the Night She Died

Recalling the night Whitney Houston died in her hotel room, Bobby Brown tells Ellen DeGeneres that he performed because she would’ve wanted him to. Despite many critics feeling it was poor taste for her ex-husband to perform at his scheduled show February 11, Brown has zero regrets … big surprise. “I was in Mississippi performing and I got the call. Of course, I tried to get a flight. Tried to rent a jet. Whatever I had to do,” he told Ellen Wednesday. Bobby Brown on Ellen “But it was impossible. So I knew the best thing that she would’ve wanted me to do was perform. You know, we are performers. That’s what we did.” “That’s what we do and she would want the best for me.” In retrospect, she might have wanted several other things from Brown that we don’t even need to get into here. Nevertheless, Bobby is guilt free. Which isn’t to say he wasn’t saddened. Brown broke down backstage pre-show and declined to join his New Edition bandmates for the opening song. Once he took the stage, he shouted, “I love you, Whitney!” and blew a kiss to the sky, looking visibly teary at the tragic news he’d learned hours ago. One week later, Brown peaced out of her funeral early with his family in tow, then showed up to perform that night at Foxwoods in Connecticut. Somehow, Alicia Etheridge plans to marry this guy.
