Taylor Swift has once again opened up to a national magazine. Just a couple of days after telling Vanity Fair that she’s sick of her portrayal in the media , Swift has admitted to InStyle UK : She’s scared of ending up all alone. “I don’t wanna end up being awful and intolerable,” Swift says, growing even more depressing: “Alone. Laying in a marble bathtub by myself, sad, with a glass of wine just complaining that my life ended up alone because I pushed everyone away because I thought I was too good to hang out with anybody.” Taylor said she wants to avoid the “Hollywood sad cliché of the poor lonely starlet with no one because she put up all these walls and didn’t trust anyone.” Perhaps that explains why she dates around so often: Swift simply wants to love, she wants to trust. It’s a noble thought, but the singer is 23 years old. She has plenty of time to worry about ending up alone. Among other topics touched on in the interview: Abandoning her plan : “I’ve thought that I did have a dream scenario before, but it turns out that I change my mind and that essentially in your 20s all the puzzle pieces of your life are thrown up in the air and they just fall into whatever place and I think that’s healthy.” On choosing girl friends over guy friends : “I’m a girls’ girl. I have guy friends but the problem with having guy friends is, like, I always get linked to them and they’ll end up in a slideshow of people I’ve apparently dated on the Internet.”
Sean Lowe is not your typical Bachelor star, and his views on sex before marriage will be addressed on the show this season, according to host Chris Harrison. “Obviously it’s way too early now,” Harrison said , but it will “absolutely” be an issue. “He doesn’t mind kissing and that’s where the relationships are, but as we get closer to fantasy suites and overnights, it comes up, and he’s very open about it.” Chris says Sean Lowe “wears his religion and his heart on his sleeve” and therefore did not have a problem with Selma’s decision not to kiss him on screen this week. “I would think for maybe another Bachelor it would matter, but with Sean it only helps and it only adds to the attraction,” he said. “Sean is a slow mover. He’s not one to go jump into bed with just anybody, and the fact that a girl wants to take it very slow is totally fine.” “That will never be a deterrent for him.” “I also think it raised her stock and made her more intriguing, but how long will that work? Lady Gaga’s got gall! In an official video deposition from last August that was uncovered by the New York Post , Lady Gaga went off about her former assistant. The assistant, named Jennifer O’Neill, is suing Gaga over supposed unpaid overtime. How much overtime? 7,168, to the tune of $393,000 plus damages! Yikes! Not that that money means much to Gaga. But apparently she doesn’t like being taken advantage of. “This whole case is bulls–t and you know it,” she said in the video, claiming that O’Neill was a “f–king hood rat who is suing me for money that she didn’t earn.” Gaga was so upset, and so ademant that the suit was bull, that she even offered to pay the money. Just not to O’Neill! “I’m going to give all the money that she wants to my employees that work hard for me now that deserve it.”
It hasn’t been the best month for Justin Bieber , from allegations of cheating on Selena Gomez to assaulting some woman with a Nerf gun . But the singer can at least take comfort in knowing a fellow artist remains by his side. “Justin leads by example,” Carly Rae Jepsen says of the young man who discovered her in the latest issue of Seventeen “I love that he works hard and has fun.” Among other topics covered by Jepsen in the expansive interview: The struggle to strike it big : “I was doing every job imaginable to pay rent while I was pursuing this career. Five months after the Prince Harry naked pic scandal, The Spare is back from his tour of duty and opening up about his now-infamous Vegas weekend. “I probably let myself down,” he told UK reporters in an interview following his stint in Afghanistan. “I let my family down, I let other people down.” Prince Harry Interview “At the end of the day, I was in a private area and there should be a certain amount of privacy. The way I was treated … I don’t think is acceptable.” “Back home, all my close friends rallied round me and were great.” Prince Harry went on to say that he considers the naked photo incident a “classic example of me probably being too much army and not enough prince.” Harry had invited some girls he met at a hotel bar up to his VIP suite for a party back in August, and after losing a game of strip billiards, followed the rules. Photos were taken and leaked to celebrity gossip site TMZ. Embarrassing as that was for Harry and family, he didn’t do anything illegal or even controversial, and he seems to have come out of it just fine. The 28-year-old Harry also discussed the pregnant Kate Middleton and other topics in the interview (above). Seems like a nice fella, don’t you think?
Manti Te’o has spoken to a reporter for the first time in days and gone on the record: He played no role in Lennay Kekua and duping the public into believing he had a girlfriend who died of cancer. “I wasn’t faking it. I wasn’t part of this,” Te’o told ESPN’s Jeremy Schaap last night in a two-and-a-half hour, off-camera interview. The Notre Dame linebacker and NFL prospect even said he didn’t know for total certainty that Kekua was a fabrication until Wednesday night when Ronaiah Tuiasosopo called him and admitted to the hoax. “Two guys and a girl are responsible for the whole thing,” Te’o said. “According to Ronaiah, Ronaiah’s one.” Among other topics covered in the interview: Te’o admitted to lying to his father about having met Kekua; he never actually did. Yes, he did Skype with Kekua, but described the individual on the other end as being in a “black box,” unseen. Numerous personal meetings were set up and then canceled by Kekua. Te’o does take responsibility for the story spinning out of control, saying he “kind of tailored” it “to have people think that, ‘yeah, he met her before she passed away,’ so that people wouldn’t think that I was some crazy dude.” Te’o received a call from Lenny on December 6, claiming she had faked her own death to avoid drug dealers. He said he responded with anger and, yes, acknowledged her existence in a couple interviews afterward because he didn’t know “what to believe.” “All I knew for sure in my head was that she died on September 12.” Following the interview, Te’o showed Schaap Twitter direct messages from Tuiasosopo that were comprised of an apology for orchestrating the scheme.
