Katy Perry has no idea what you’re talking about. She’s probably giving you a quizzical side-eye right about now. She doesn’t know why you think she ever feuded with Taylor Swift. What a crazy notion! In a new interview with Australia’s Today show, the singer was asked – yes, once again – about her relationship with Swift. Despite rarely even saying each other’s names in public, the rivalry between these artists has been near the center of the celebrity gossip universe for years, ever since Swift released the diss track “Bad Blood.” It was pretty clearly written about Perry, with whom Swift allegedly has a beef due a disagreement over backup dancers back in the day. While promoting her latest album, Katy said Taylor tried to ” assassinate my character ” and made it sound as if the feud was only just beginning. But then the public sort of took Swift’s side… and then Swift made the ultimate passive-aggressive power move against Perry… and Katy quickly changed her tune. “I love her, I always have,” Perry told the Australian interviewer. “We’ve had our differences, but I just continue to say, ‘God bless her on her journey.’” That’s very cute of Katy to say. As the first song off her new record, Perry unveiled what most people assumed was her own diss track, seemingly clapping back at Swift via the single “Swish Swish.” It wasn’t well received, however. After receiving negative feedback for the way she went after Swift all these years later, Perry did a 180 several weeks ago and now talks as if the two are soul sisters. “I am ready to let it go,” Perry said on a recent installment of the Thrive Global Podcast, adding: “I forgive her and I’m sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her. There’s a lot of other things out there in the world that people need to be focused on. “God bless her on her journey. God bless her. Honestly.” Somewhere (and we really don’t know where because she’s gone social media silent for nearly a year now), Swift and her team must be having quite a good laugh over all this flip-flopping. Taylor has managed to win her war against Perry without ever mentioning her by name. This happened to Sarah Hyland once before, in 2014. This time, the pictures appear to show Sarah Hyland topless (and bottomless) while wearing a robe that covers basically nothing. Some celebrity nude hacks reveal celebs in some serious sex acts, but this isn’t a case of Sarah Hyland “getting off easy” — this is a violation. When the world first learned that Ben Affleck was dating Lindsay Shookus , many applauded the non-tabloidy nature of their relationship. After all, Affleck’s divorce from Jennifer Garner had been finalized ; the former couple had been separated for more than two years; and the timng seemed right for Ben to move on with someone new. Then the tabloid media started doing some digging and they found, well … a lot. For starters, several outlets claimed that Garner and Shookus had an affair for several years before coming out as a couple. This is a bit of a problem, as until relatively recently, both were married to other people. It later came out that Garner confronted Shookus after learning of the affair, which she found out about after noticing some expensive jewelry purchases on Ben’s credit card statement. As for Shookus’ ex-husband, Kevin Miller, he reportedly just fouhd out about the affair a few months ago, and now believes it was the cause of his divorce. (According to People and Us Weekly ‘s timelines, Shookus began her relationship with Affleck just a few months after welcoming the her and Miller’s first child.) Now, London’s Daily Mail has done even more digging into the Lindsay’s past and found that the SNL producer has a history of dating famous men. The tabloid reports that Lindsay engaged in a low-key affair with Sex and the City actor Chris Noth, though Noth’s reps deny the claim. Of course, that may have something to do with the fact that Noth would’ve already been involved with his current wife at the time. Interestingly, the tabloid claims that Ben and Lindsay went on a break at at one point. (Yes, if the timelines are accurate, they’ve been together long enough to have gone on a break.) During that time, it seems Lindsay got involved with another respected actor with a famously messy personal life. The Mail claims Lindsay dated Jon Hamm during this time, and news of the relationship royally pissed Ben off. Affleck and Hamm are friends and they worked on the 2010 film The Town together. They both got out of very longterm relationships around the same time, and it seems Shookus knew just how to make Affleck jealous. It’s anyone’s guess as to how much of the Mail ‘s report is accurate, but one thing’s for sure: It doesn’t look like Ben will be able to leave his tabloid staple status in the past any time soon. Paola Mayfield and Russ aren’t exactly blissful — the 90 Day Fiance couple’s relationship has had its ups and downs. As you might recall, conservative Russ took issue with Paola Mayfield’s topless photos . After one bit of friction that the two experienced on camera, Paolo posted a photo of the two looking very happy. But … it looks like she’s trying to start a feud with another star of the show: Anfisa Arkhipchenko. Paola captioned the above photo with a reference to a scene from the latest episode, where her friend Juan had poked a little fun at Russ. “I’m sorry I didn’t back you up with @juan_a_palacio” That’s simple enough, right? An unnecessary apology (but maybe she just did it to save face after the episode?). But that wasn’t all that she has to say: “But you know I would never strike you.” That might seem like a strange or alarming phrase, right? Usually, that kind of denial is a huge red flag about someone’s relationship. But we don’t think that Paola was talking about their relationship at all. She was almost certainly shading her fellow 90 Day Fiance star, Anfisa Arkhipchenko. Anfisa Arkhipchenko is perhaps best described as a “nightmare gold digger.” She’s Russian and she came to the US and married Jorge Garcia with the expectation that she would live like a princess on his wealth. And Anfisa is probably pretty enough to be someone’s trophy wife, right? To say that she’s been “disappointed” to learn that Jorge is in debt is an understatement. She’s not even subtle about the fact that she wants money. And Paola’s singling her out without even saying her name. As for the “I would never strike you,” line … Jorge and Anfisa sat down to negotiate a postnup. Because Anfisa doesn’t want to absorb Jorge’s debt. (Though she’s fine with spending his money) After the two of them are left alone to talk, they both get frustrated. Jorge suggests that, from the way that she’s acting, Anfisa might not be mature enough for this discussion. Instead of replying like an actual person, Anfisa tries to hit him in the face. Jorge deflects it with his arm, but that’s really not the point. Hitting somebody is assault. Hitting your spouse is domestic violence. (By the way, TLC aired the footage! Of what is clearly a crime!) Jorge has his own issues — lying about his finances, for starters. (Also, if she’s too immature to talk about finances, isn’t she too immature to marry, even if she is 21 years old?) But nobody needs to get hit. Paola was clearly referring to this super f–ked up woman and relationship. 90 Day Fiance airs on TLC. TLC is the network that exposes the world to the Duggars, and thus to that unrepentant creep Josh Duggar. TLC is the network that airs Kate Plus 8 , starring that absolute beast of a woman, Kate Gosselin. We guess that Anfisa Arkhipchenko must feel right at home among her fellow nightmares who should never be allowed around human beings or non-human animals. But TLC sure can pick ’em, huh? We don’t know that Paola was trying to start up a feud with Anfisa. But Anfisa is awful. Paola might have just been trying to use humor to deflect from what fans might see as her shortcoming by pointing out that Anfisa is immeasurably worse. She’s not wrong.
